@@amreetmeher4536 Hyundai will not score more than seltos because both built on same frame built quality and integral rigidity is different thing altogether .the frame is unstable during crash . Ambassador is also used to have better build quality but what about saftey during accidents . Triber magnite even scored 4 stars in ncap

you left one key aspect of both the cars - SAFETY ... where VW (4-5 star rating in GNCAP) clearly is far better than Creta/Seltos (marginally passing 3-star in GNCAP) ...clearly we Indians still don't care much about the safety in a car...

@@selvamuthukumaran5016 the taiguns platform is made form a single piece metal while the chasis of creta/seltos has welded joints at all their pillars and that was the main reason why seltos divided into 2 or else just visit the showroom and experience it's quality I understand you are a seltos/creta fanboi though

Creta doesn't have any road presence. Basically all Hyundai lineups are in deep shit now - Venue is small creta, Alcazar is slightly bigger creta, Palisade is big creta.
Not to mention it’s so common on roads now .getting stale now
My choice is taigun i don't believe others & i don't like also first preference i give build quality so u can not compared to any other except Volkswagen

@@gauravsaikia9362 There is just a general AQI displayed which is actually of no use and it is just a gimmick.
I'll tell you how. AQI is basically an index & to prepare this it requires various data such as how much is PM10 , PM2.5 and some more data. After collection of this data, it is compiled, measured & displayed .
If you open any reputed weather forecast website or any govt's metrological website or any reputed brand's Air Purifier used for homes and offices you will find that data of PM10 and PM2.5 is mentioned specifically bcoz these two are of major concern for health rather than just a general AQI bcoz more than a general AQI, data of PM10 and PM2.5 tell whether the air is actually safe or not .
To measure PM10 and PM2.5 different mesh filters are used. In reality, they have just fed in some data in the purifier matching the Indian conditions, installed some random cost saving general mesh without any badging of PM10 or PM2.5
If it was not a gimmick they would have displayed PM10 and PM2.5 atleast and its authenticity could be crosschecked with the filters installed with specific badging of Particulate Matter .
It is just filtering out some dust and displaying their own data claiming it as Air Quality Index(AQI) ...

Being a Creta owner....I would suggest go for XUV 300....try and test it folks.....it's indeed beast in quality and performance

+Looks like Kushaq & Taigun are based on the discontinued Skoda Yeti while the design language is derived from Kodiaq&Tiguan
+VW discontinued Polo and T-Roc and used their engines as the two engine-options (i.e. 1.0L and 1.5L)
So, if one thinks about it, the new taigun&kushaq are a mixture of discontinued cars.
+Car is safe with 5 star safety rating
The 1.0L TSi engine feels underpowered for the larger body and is overpriced with car costing around 17L.
The 1.5L TSi engine is awesome and the variants are a good deal (a bit on the pricier side though)
Cons: The interior plastic quality is not good, feels cheap and not as per VW standard (keeping in mind that car still costs 15L+)
It would have been much better if Volkswagen would have added some extra features and better insulation in the taigun

Kushaq is having a lot of initial issues.. Taigun could also have problems in initial cars.. So potential customers should keep that in mind..
It's not that big of a matter , almost every single product when launched have some issues which are resolved over time of maximum 1-2 months and btw the Skoda has resolved the epc issue which u are talking about and referring as ' a lot of initial issues ' . Remember when seltos came out , the wheels used to loose out on their from a moving car ? So it's not like that a car is perfect . The nexon's gear Nob is shit when it comes to quality it just rubs in maximum 10 moths and starts peeling of the outer skin of itself. Every product has issues , the matter is how the company resolves it and Skoda has done it . Only the first batch had that issue and now from the September batch it has been resolved so it's nonsense to talk about kushaq and say it has a lot of issues

@@pachon22 why would buy a creta for ? features ? boot space ? sunroof ? all that you get in the taigun , with its powerful 1.0 litre TSI and 1.5 litre TSI petrol engines , yeah it lacks a diesel engine , and the build quality is really very nice.

Now I want to upgrade and this Taigun is my first choice but dont know it will price right for my budget which is around 12 lacs. I like at least Alloys and Music system though it can be added with the base variants. But Kushaq pricing is not a proper in my personal opinion. How about Creta 1.5 and Vw 1.0 TSI. I think 1.5 is better
No one can beat the exterior & the strong /sturdy engine & GNCAP 5* safety rating of VW’s Taigun!But otherwise it makes more sense buying Hyundai’s Creta,which has more features,best ground clearance,better service experience,better interiors & of course,a value for money!!😄

People are prasing build quality of VW which it is without a doubt. But I will also suggest to test the ride quality - Hyundai comes no close to VW on this as well.

They reduced the cost almost identical to maruti and Hyundai they are offering service packages extended warranties also . Their service interval is also higher 15000 km or 1 year and that will cost around 7-8 thousand on other hand if you ar having Hyundai I 20 every 6 months that will be around 7-8 k that price translates into 15k which is more than VW

I bought 1.0 Taigun TOPLINE 1 week back . There is no comparison . Sirf ek line bolega "JAAN HAI TO JAHAN HAI" . Banki Agar logon ko "MAUT KA KAUON" type hi kafan bandh ke gadi chalai hai to lo Hyundai aur Maruti ya phir Seltos .
And one more thing I am using VW Polo since 2011 . The service of VW is way better
Elephant in the room is build quality, drivability and reliability...Creta stands no where near VW / Skoda cars. Build quality of Creta is horrible, Drivability is ok for city but it can't handle rough patches, Quality and reliability may look good in Creta initially buy long term reliability is a huge question mark. Creta's body is almost similar to the metal used in making coke cans...

Yeah, am looking for Taigun/Creta that will cost around 15+ lacs (mid variants) if we can add few lacs and go for Jeep Compass. So, Creta/Taigun and Loan=11 lacs, EMI=17000 p.m., Jeep Compass Sport and Loan 15 lacs EMI = 24000 p.m. which I can afford both. It make sense

Connected cars feature Blue Link is absolutely crap . Creta is among the most stolen cars in India these days . Thieves can easily remove the sim card . There are some owner stories on CZcams itself which elaborate about this . So if a car is being sold on feature which can easily be compromised . Then its the call of the buyer ultimately .
Also Creta/seltos owner hardly use sunroof . Every 3rd Creta has an issue with their sunroof, most of the time either the sensor is not working or the motor is not functioning properly or there is issue of rust . The saleswoman out of nowhere at the hyundia dealer just suggested us to not use wet cloth around the sunroof to avoid rusting , I mean ham car sirf dekhne aye hain aur aap hame yeh kya bata rahe ho 🤣, that moment itself it was confirmed that their sunroof is just a gimmick .
The centre console side plastics of Creta is 10 times cheaper in quality than that of Kushaq/Taigun . It makes noises when impacted by knees while driving and because of that reason when I recently visited skoda & test drove Kushaq, uske har plastic ko acche se thok baja ke dekha literally, and it was like rock solid. Itni zoorse creta ke interior plastic ko thok-bajata to vo to ukhad hi jata 🤣.

Dude vw is a premium brand. Mahindra xuv700 is a good car but it cannot match drive dynamics of vw taigun. Also, vw taigun is not targeting mass market. On the other hand, mahindra xuv700 is a mass market product.
