- So many of my followers on Instagram, Facebook and now CZcams have asked me to share my most influential spiritual books. It didn't even take a long time to think, these are the 5 books that I come back to time and time again.
In order they are:
1. You can heal your life by Louise Hay
2. Autobiography of a yogi - Paramahansa Yogananda
3. A Course in Miracles - The Foundation for Inner Peace
4. My living has not been in vain - Mary Armour
5. Professional Tarot - Christine Jette
I am a 70 year old retired teacher in the U.S. In my 30s I joined a healing circle around YOU CAN HEAL YOUR LIFE book when it 1st came out. I traveled to NY to hear her speak. I have 3 of your 5 books. I have been on the path ever since. Beyond happy that this has become mainstream. I couldn't tell my students I was taking yoga in the 1980s. You are a beautiful soul. You light up when you speak. Thanks for making this normal for your generation. I have made 2 trips to beautiful Scotland. It feels like home. Much love.
At 19 Celestine Prophecy, shorly after Seat of the Soul, then The Four Agreements, Heal Your Life, The Lightworkers Way, Abraham Hicks Ask and it Shall Be Given, Autobiography of a Yogi.. A Course in Miracles I have been working on for a few years now. Now I carry Kyle's Angel Prayers with me every where and leave them on planes, or gift them!! Love this book!!!! Search in secret India by Dr.Paul Brunton is one of most amazing and greatest books I have ever read.
It is a must for any spiritual seeker and anyone who wants to get a true glimpse of the Mystic nature and Truth behind human life
The Alchemist was great!
My top 5 would have to be Conversations With God by Neale Donald Walshe. That book was really the foundation to awakening my spirituality. I actually bought every copy of book one from a book store in Vancouver so that I could give it out for people to share. Then came your book Kyle, Raising Your Vibration which kick-started my Angel journey and the love of oracle readings for others. It helped open up my natural hidden talents I didn’t know I had. Next came Letting Go by David R. Hawkins. Everything I’ve read in that book made so much sense to me on such a profound level. How we trap emotions and feelings and if we could understand how to let them go, we could heal our lives. What I noticed out of these 3 books they all had one thing (well, many but one notable thing) in common; A Course In Miracles. Each Author made a mention to ACIM and none of them were connected to each other so I found it so amazing that they all referred to this same book. I have the Annotated edition and it can be a very DEEP read. And although I have not yet finished it, I hold this book so near and dear to my heart and the teachings I learn from this book, I have used as much inspiration for my podcasts. This book clarified things to me that I already know, but can explain it in a way that gives my ego the back seat. Finally after being brought into my conscious mind over and over and seeing it pop up randomly all around me, my 5th favourite spiritual book of all time is You Can Heal Your Life-Louise Hay (Obvi 💁🏼♀️) I refer to this book so often, I quote Louise in my podcast every episode. Each of these books I go to time and time again for guidance and inspiration. Thank you Kyle for this video 🙏🏻
Conversations with God started my journey too. It’s amazing how I found that book, I wasn’t even looking for it. I went to watch a movie w my family and after that my little brother wanted to get something at one of the stores at the mall. When we were about to pay my brother stuff I saw the book at the counter, idk if someone had left it there. But it really amazes me how that book found me.

A young friend of mine gave me your Angel Prayers Oracle Cards in the New Year. I watch you on CZcams. Today when you did your five favourite books I was delighted that your first book was Louise Hay's You Can Heal Your Life! I got my book at Christmas 1987! It had to be ordered from America because it wasn't in the shops here in Ireland at the time. I had already been on a Spiritual Healing journey since 1979 and still am. I'm delighted my friend introduced me to you. I'm going to be celebrating his 30th Birthday very soon. It's great to have young people like yourself and him in my life. Thanks so much. Ann McLucas

My mom was reading you can heal your life in the 80’s. I was a teen but I remember looking at it. Then I read it after my mom passed when I was 30. It was the beautiful gift edition. That book and Louise set me on my spiritual path. Louise became the second mom I never met. One door opened after another. One teacher, book, video, came after another. It’s been 24 years and I still have my book. I remember I was on a kayak when I heard Louise passed. It was then that I found out we had the same birthdate. October 8.

Breaking the habits of being yourself was the first spiritual book that I read and really changed how I move in life. I found your book! Raise your vibration, and I love it! Its difficult to select only five books, so I'll tell you my favourite 5 writers : Carolyn Myss opened by eyes to the soul/body connection, Wayne Dyer for his down to earth way of communicating about the spirit and the Devine, Eckhard Tolle, Eben Alexander and Stuart Wilde. Now I am working my way through Kyle's books and online material - don't know why it took me so long to "discover" the angel whisperer but so grateful I did recently. A whole new world is opening up, thank you thank you thank you! 🌠

I am happy to hear that you love , Christine Jette's book. I live in a small town in Ohio (the same one the author is from) and knew her mother. She was one of our librarians. One day I checked out a called Tarot Shadow Work. She said that her daughter had written the book. She was very proud of her.
Wow, I'm so impressed and envious that you've been able to tackle ACIM at such an early age! Another super, super helpful book as an intro to A Course In Miracles, or to take your understanding to a whole deeper level, is Gary Renard's Disappearance of the Universe. And that one is a very fun and fascinating read. Thanks for sharing your faves!

Parmie's my homeboy!!! (Paramahansa Yogananda, haha :D). I had three people hand me that book in one week back in 2007. So I read it and he's been my main spirit guide since. Then years later spent a year living at Ananda Assisi Ashram in Italy.

Hi Kyle! My first book that opened my eyes to angels was “angels in my hair” by Lorna Byrne. And of course your book “The Angel Whisperer” was amazing and helped me so much at a time when I very much needed it. I also love Dr. Wayne Dyer’s “Memories of Heaven”.

ACIM, Autobiography of a Yogi (Steve Jobs read it once a year. It was also handed out at his memorial to all the guest-fun fact for you), You Can Heal Your Life, and The Impersonal Life. All of these have opened my mind/heart/eyes, etc, and changed my life. Seth Speaks is amazing, also. Love the Buffy poster!
Raise your vibration is one I keep working with and it’s helps me so much. I am trying (with difficulty) to work on Course in miracles, I’m finding it challenging! Big magic by Elizabeth Gilbert really is wonderful. Thanks for sharing your books, I’ll be looking into some of them! 🙏🏻

For me it has been anything Sylvia Browne. This is the first Spiritual Leader I have ever resonated with as I was trying to find my path.
I love her prayer book. I have it on kindle. It is truly amazing
thank you for sharing your 5 favorite books. I have come to these ideas later in my life, I am in my early 70's. I have always been spiritual, a follower of Jesus but the spiritual things I have learned in the last few years have broadened and increased my faith and I am grateful for these favorites.
1) Return to Love by Marianne Williamson opened my mind to spirituality thru Love
2) Mutant Message Down Under by Marlo Morgan made me realize that praying was ALSO listening to God/Spirit
3) Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield with the message to follow the most beautiful path... my intuition
4) Simple Abundance by Sarah Ban Breathnach taught me to clean up my life... make room for someone else.
5) Going Within by Shirley MacLaine.... how to meditate, balance chakras/energy
6) it's a long story but all these books were surrounded by the teachings and readings by Edgar Cayce. i am not sure which book about him or by him that i read but he was a huge influence.
but Raise Your Vibration by Kyle Gray fell into my life 20 years later and got me back on track combining all of my past spiritual lessons into one place. :)

@Kyle Gray Hey Kyle! I'm so glad I found you!! So, I commented on a few of your videos before, just in the past month or so. On August 15th of this year (2019), I selected your book off the shelf of a Barnes & Noble bookstore in Long Island, NY. When I picked it up, I felt a vibration go up my arm, right up to my heart chakra and down my other arm. It was incredible and a bit strange, but I KNEW I had to buy it. Just two days after that, I had a mini-psychic reading that confirmed that I may have some healing abilities that I was not even aware of, although the idea of healing very much appealed to me (days before finding your book, I actually registered for a class to learn Reiki!). Anyway, since literally picking up your book on 8/15/19, I have begun to open myself up to my latent healing abilities and learned quite a bit about other psychic gifts I may have. Did you intentionally infuse your books with energy before sending it out? I am very curious to know if anyone else has felt the energy of this book, as I did. I would love to hear your thoughts or any feedback on my experience. Thank you!!

One of my first spiritual book at the age of 17 year of 1974 was “Infinite Power for Richer Living” by Joseph Murphy . I am now 66. I was born 09/22/55. Assertiveness for Earth Angels by Doreen Virtue. I picked this book by chance, started reading the first chapter and I was so taken aback. It was like I was reading my own biography.
Another is one of yours actually. Angels. How to see, Hear and Feel your Angels. This is a regular go to book for me. Thank you for bringing it into the world.

Hi Kyle. I also read your top two many years ago and many others as well. They are wonderful. I think Barbara Brendan’s Hands of Light helps with a visual of the Human Energy Field. The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle was helpful years ago. The updates for me in recent years have come from Rupert Spira’s books-Being Aware of Being Aware is one. Or Adyashanti’s books on spiritual awakening. The Deep Heart-John Prendergast. I Am That by Nisargadatta. They are about the full connection to our true Self. There are many great writers. I like listening to them in audio…. I like the peaceful ones. You seem to have a sweet, sincere presence. I am glad you are bringing joy and deepening into a more wonderful level of life. Wonderful for your generation! I will listen to more of your offerings. 🌝🥰

For myself Journey one of the very first books I read was out on a limb by Shirley MacLaine. And the second one what's the most typical one for me was the seat of the Soul by Gary zukav. There was somebody that thought like me for the first time.

My mother had that book- Autobiography of a Yogi, I’ve yet to read. There was another Hindu book she had but the name escapes me which had one of my favorite prayer of peace by Saint Francis Assisi. I feel like I’m forgetting one. These are buried in storage waiting to be unpacked again. Some of my favorites are- ‘The Art of Happiness’ with the Dalia Lama, The Art of War’ by Sun Tzu, The Untethered Soul’ by Michael A. singer and ‘Discover your Soul Signature’ by Panache Desai. Also enjoyed ‘The Secret’, ‘Breaking the Habit of being Yourself’ by Dr. Joe Dispenza and ‘Many Lives, Many Masters’ by Brian Weiss.

This book was given to me from a dear friend. She was drawn to it in a second hand book shop. She was guided by spirit to pass it on to me. I tingled from head to toe, when I opened the first page. It was like I had come home and everything made sense to me. The fog just cleared.

I was given “ you can heal your Life” When I was16! It Gave me the courage to change my life-I had a spiritual transformation and then a complete physical transformation if you know what I’m getting at! I’m not going to spell it out but I think you’re intuitive enough to know what I mean! Nobody in my life knows! Except from my family obviously! I am a huge fan of yours and I always have been and I used to love Doreen virtue and I still do and I respect her decision to return to Christianity but her books -how to see angels and how to hear your angels really helped developed my clairvoyance, clairaudience and the other two which are all becoming more profound every day and it all started with Louise L Hay! I took it seriously when my mother managed to heal herself from breast cancer! BTW I would love to know what you think of “the Sophia code!”I think Louise Hay must have made it to ArchAngeldom by now! I found the book “inner peace” By Yogananda in my dad‘s flat which I was staying in! And it was totally meant to be- it’s a very small and short but extremely powerful book! You probably have read it and if you haven’t You simply must! I’m actually halfway through a course in miracles at the moment! It’s taking a long time because every sentence is so profound that you have to go over it and over again so that it sinks deep into your consciousness and you go deeper and deeper into the understanding of it. The power of forgiveness is amazing but the way I have understand it is that it’s all down to self forgiveness because we are the ones that think the thoughts in our own minds as Louise puts it! Love Marian Williamson! Definitely going to look up the medium Helen Duncans book, that sounds fascinating! I’ve never heard of it so thank you! Sometimes when I look in the mirror I take on the appearance non-physically of my spirit guides and even my grandmother who is deceased but I really believe there is no such thing as death having been on life support for three Days and they were the best days of my life even though I wasn’t actually alive! So called dead people are far more alive than we are! Mary armour was the author I take it?!? Of the Helen Duncan books? I’ll google it. Anything that you recommend I will definitely read! You are a fantastic role model and I would like to thank you on behalf of mother Earth and humanity! Love, light and many Angel blessings sorry for ranting and raving for too long! One of my favorite spiritual books is "The Steps to Knowledge" by Marshall Vian Summers, a book of 365 daily spiritual practices to find strength, purpose and meaning in an emerging world.
Yes! Steps To Knowledge! Can't believe that more people don't know about it.
I don't know how many people know about The Steps to Knowledge, but I do. I spent a fortune on spiritual books in my life and I found this book for free on the internet and it is by a street length the most powerful reaching and the most powerful book of practices I have ever had in my life. The Steps are life changing. The paperback I bought on Amazon and is the show piece of my library :-).
Three come to mind -- Urban Shaman by Serge Kahili King, Tales of Power by Castaneda, and The Spiral Dance by Starhawk. Oh, and the Tao Te Jing, of course.
