I miss these crossover ads, they tend to be the closest we ever had to crossover episodes between all these shows and they’re now very rare or underwhelming.
The nostalgia, man. KidsWB! was my jam back in the day. Waking up at like 7-8am on Saturday morning to watch Pokémon, Yugioh, Jackie Chan Adventures, Megaman NT Warrior, Batman Beyond, MiB, X-men Evolution, and Cardcaptors, made Saturdays more special. And while we can stream anything and everything nowadays, it still feels like something special is missing. Also, that commercial with Pokémon vs Pinkie and the Brain was actually the first time I heard the Pokémon dub, and how I knew where to watch Pokémon at (on KidsWB!).
Personally, I think these bumps of Pokemon interacting with other shows from Kids WB have got to be one of those exquisitely yet creative bumps that Kids WB did back when they were in their prime. It’s like before Cartoon Network (which, yes, they used to air Pokemon as well from the 2000s all the way to the mid-late 2010s), but seeing Batman hanging out with Pikachu or Agent J throwing Jigglypuff like a basketball will always never get old. ^^
@@flamingrubys11 Yu-Gi-Oh makes sense because it was only on Cartoon Network for a short time, they started airing reruns of the Original series in 2004, then started airing GX from 2005 to 2007, stopping halfway through Season 3, and then airing some of 5ds in 2008 or 2009. So it makes sense that some people don't know about it being on Cartoon Network, although GX was on there afternoon block of Mugazi and then on their Saturday Night block of Toonami so I feel at least a good number of people know about that because of the decent popularity of those blocks. Pokemon on the other hand, I'm fairly certain a good number of people know about it being on Cartoon Network, because after 4Kids stopped dubbing and airing it, Cartoon Network aired the newest seasons for a long time from season 9 all the way to season 19 before it moved at the end of 2016 over to Disney XD to air the Sun and Moon era(Seasons 20 to 22). So adding on the time it got Pokemon to air reruns before Kids stopped dubbing it, it was on Cartoon Network for over 10 years even longer than its time on 4Kids, so I feel a good number of people will know of it being on that network because of how long it was on it.

I only saw up to about Yubel's obtaining the Sacred Beasts on Cartoon Network, but it was probably because they kept moving its programming block around, the first few episodes of season 3 aired on Saturday night on Tonnami, up until Jesse's two-part Duel against Trapper, then from Jaden's duel against Viper to that whole Sacred Beast stuff it aired on a new Saturday morning block, but then it vanished again, so I guess they moved it to another airing time but neglected to tell us with commercials, just like when they took it off Toonami.

That Batman Jigglypuff song is an old memory I didn't know I needed. I remember chuckling at that when it was airing. The next best crossovers were on Cartoon Network with Cartoon Cartoon Fridays but they weren't as creative as kidsWB. They also weren't willing to use different voice actors so they were held back by that too.

I'm totally stumped on why they gave Misty a Vulpix in that commercial lol. Like how did they get things right for her other two Pokemon but then decide to give her a mon that's the *opposite* of her type specialty?
Boy, do I remember these. That was definitely not Kevin Conroy voicing Batman in these promos though. He did voiceovers for BTAS promos on Fox Kids, but not so much on Kids WB for whatever reason. At least Mark Hamill was able to do these (if that wasn't him, they sure used a perfect voice double). Since I didn't know what anime was back then, I naturally had no idea of the cultural significance of seeing Pokemon characters interacting with American cartoon characters. Too bad Cartoon Network never did any promos featuring their Cartoon Cartoon stars alongside DBZ characters.

It wasn't the first time batman sang and it wasn't the last either. In justice league he has to sing on stage for this villain who I forget the name of to convince them to turn wonder woman back to normal, who is at the time a literal pig due to a magic spell. At least... That's how I remember it.

I don't think they're going to make new Batman Animated shows anymore due to Kevin Conroy & HBO Max removing cartoons! It's impossible! Now it's BatWheels! Batman: The Caped Crusaders made by J.J. Abrams & Matt Reeves is already canceled! And Ash & Pikachu will be gone! Now it won't be the same without Batman & Ash from Pokemon! Now the cartoons are already dead!

mib and ghostbusters had really good cartoon versions. really fun as the series EASILY can expand.
