i love how in this representation no brakes their own lanes/formations for no reason...this makes it more realistic battle scenes then in an actual movie lol
I think in the actual movie the uruks are suppose to be “newborns” so they were not used to war and there orcs so I guess they just wanted blood fast

Yeah, I really like how the elves waited until the Uruk Hai started climbing the ladders before firing their arrows at them. 😂

a really nice job[and i personally can appreciate the time and effort put into this - winks] ..some great camera shots, editing, and sound all make for a compiling video - nice job! ...especially like the tree line at the end[as that completes the battle as the orcs move into the trees and the ents and huorns finish the rest] ..:P
The two 'bits' I missed most in the films from the books was the Fangorn Forest coming to Helms Deep and the harrowing of the Shire when the Hobbits return home and find Saruman in charge.

glad it wasnt like this in the film, saurumans army must have been a million strong, while the elves and rohan seemed to have about 5,000. and the riders arrived a day too late

Those numbers cannot match The Big 3s Aragorn, Gimli, and Legolas.

they should add an uruk to the tops of those siege ladders
yes Sarumans orcs were the height of men because he crossed the species. normally orcs were just a more muscular version of a goblin. from Tolkien's description orcs looked like apes but sarumans orcs had human height and squinty eyes.

Eh. Doesn't beat medieval 2. It has physical projectiles, a better recruitment and replenishing system, and the third age divide and conquer submod.
medieval 2 will always be better. Just feels much more natural in every sense. Attilia is mostly an unnatural choppy mess. The clashes barely feel satisfying apart from maybe cavalry charges
@@jesss7438 you should upgrade your PC, your really missing out if you think medieval 2 out does Attila and you really shouldn’t have to go without.
@@shieldphaser Attila has either better or the same systems you mentioned as medieval 2, if it’s not working properly for you I suggest upgrading your pc so your not stuck playing a game from a decade plus ago 😉 for real you can only deep throat that nostalgia for so long before you have to admit you just don’t have a good pc 🤷🏻♂️
@@austinduff6493 Well that's just rude. For the record I have attila and can run it just fine. It's just not as fun to play though. Auto-replenishment just totally destroys the point of fighting a losing battle.

hi, I have used a mod for the bigger units, its on the steam workshop, called Dawnless Days Massive Armies Submod.

only criticisms are: where is the tower on helms deep? it looks weird without it and no aragorn, legolas, gimli but ig its difficult to implement in attila
I suggest to you to look at the developers of the mod ( The Dawnless Days) there is a preview of an official Helm's Deep map
I recommend recording the game in half or less speed and then speed up the video so that it will not stutter.

Especially since the movie had 10,000 Uruk-hai rather than 36,000...
The abrupt cut offs of the music is jarring and I can't believe you cut out the clash of the cav going down the hill.

How do you manage to get so many orcs per unit?
only 3 elves. the race of Numenor were 1/2 elves of the kings like Aragon and looked like him being called rangers. there were 35 as they could not all come.

I know it is fantasy. But something nags me a lot: how the hell Saruman or whoever provided for this army? Economics was totally forgotten there. What did they eat? Who paid for that? With what money?
Well, in the books Saruman was already involved in the Shire. Safe to say he got some stuff from there, pipe-weed being one thing. I'm sure he had his sources, just like Sauron's armies from Mordor were kept fed by slave labor from lands far away, as nothing really grows in Mordor. As for the wages for soldiers and how they paid for stuff, I have no clue, but paying for stuff is usually a good people thing, bad people usually steal/cheat/coerce, etc.

Bit disproportional: at the first part we can see Only elves army acting strange futhermore..
3:12 Longbows can shoot arrows 450 - 1,000 feet, depending on the arrows. A shame the AI didn't have the highly accurate elves firing before the enemy made it that close.
3:40 🤦♂The AI just zooming those ladders up and climbing just as fast, _then_ the elves start firing ... at those on the ground.

5:29 The saddest wall explosion ever. That explosion had erectile dysfunction. 😆
And the horse riding. 🏇Ugh, so sad. Here the charging horses just stop when they touch the bad guys, but run again when they lose their rider.
A shame that the mod wasn't as on par as your cinematography here. You did a superb job! 👍

That's because Rohan is famous for Cavalry attacks. They came prepared. It definitely worked a lil against charges on foot.
