Hearing this brings me back to that Workshop fight against McBurn/Ines/Ennea, and how surreal it felt realizing your party consists of a cat, "bandana guy", and Duvalie The Tsundere, lol.
it honestly made me laugh how Celine's melee was just firing fire balls at the enemy
Crow: "I don't even wear a bandana anymore!"
Every time i read people going "Singa garbage" i just shake my head, I loved this ost :D.
That's Mondblut for you. I don't know what his deal is, but he seems to refuse to admit it when a Singa song does something right. Sure, Deep Carnival has problems, but it's honestly not bad.
@@MaskedKingDavid Part of the problem is He's a Violin specialist and Falcom keep commissioning him to do rocky, metally pieces, it's really not his fault. That being said, I really like this one, the chaotic melody suits McFireBro to a T.
@@ChaoticNarrative The majority of the blame lies with Falcom for sure, but Singa could still at least try his best (something he has admitted to not doing) and not just rush things out.
Also yeah, Deep Carnival fits McBurn pretty well.
@@MaskedKingDavid A lot of composers admit to rush out a few songs to complete soundtracks. I’ve bought a few special edition books where the developers reveal details about the games and a common topic among both composers and designers is that they often are forced to throw together songs and character designs at the last second. You can’t exactly be a perfectionist when you are asked to throw a song together at the last minute.
Yeah, I enjoy the ost of all the games in this series. Singa is a good music maker man.
This is one of the most unique boss themes in the series, I love how wacky and zany it is tbh
THIS is the song people hate? Man I don’t get singa haters
Mc Bro has such a kino worthy song for his flames.
1:26 is like him losing it to his “Real” form.
I just beat this game today. Amazing story yet confusing, great soundtrack, amazing world building and some of the best characters in a jrpg series I’ve seen. A great conclusion to the trails of cold steel series. If you haven’t played these games then I highly recommend them
What is so confusing?
@@elock1277 Kinda felt like the story was all over the place. Plus I had a bit of trouble understanding the curse of erebonia and all. But I still love the game
@@JustReefy Did you play Sky trilogy and the Crossbell duology? Cold steel 1-2 is more player friendly by being its own story. But CS 3-4 rely on playing the other games to understand it.
@@elock1277 I actually didn’t play through those games. I have the first trails in the sky on steam but I haven’t played it in some time. I have to get back on it
@@JustReefy Makes sense why you are confused. Playing the sky games is a must, and you can watch the Crosbell games on CZcams. Plus your missing out on an amazing story, with a lot of laughs and feels.
Rean: THIS PEAR
I used to hate this song. I thought Erosion of Madness was perfect for McBurn. But this song grew on me.
I... I like this song more than Erosion of Madness
ⅣはⅢと同じ戦闘曲にハズレ無し
I feel like people who don't like the mixing on tracks like this probably don't listen to metal. It's pretty par for the course ngl lol
My favorite battle theme in the game
i fucking love this theme so musch 😊
Just heard this one while fighting in some sidequests. Absolute banger for the first part. The weird "carnival" part reminds me of Haken and it's good, but doesn't hold a candle to the straight rockin section
The theme of Mc-still holding back-Burn
i feel so sorry for singa haters i cant imagine what its like to be deaf😭
Temperature rising.
Group A,Group B and Group C vs Three Battles
It's actually a clever thing if you think about it with that in mind because it actually feels like 3 different phases of boss themes, so each part is like for each of those 3 bosses, kinda.
Group Bee
Anyone miss Max Mittelman as McBurn and Lechter?
Yes, I also miss Michael McConnohie as Victor and Vandyk, he didn't come back for additional lines in the remasters of the first 2 games. I wonder why though, perhaps schedualing problems.
I think that Allen Lee was really good as McBurn. Can't compare him with Mittelman's voice, don't know why. But Lee's voice fits better when he returned his memories about certain place. I can't see how Mittelman could be better in this situation. But Mittelman was way more better as Lechter's voice than Reich, imo
@@TimPaler Just in case people were wondering, "Allen Lee" is actually just an alias of Greg Chun's.
@@TimPaler Yeah, he portrayed McBurn's true form perfectly. Mittelman was better suited for his normal form
@@SpanishFly120 I was going to question the validity of your claim, but then remembered that until Reverie - Scott Whyte was always credited as "Charger Tomlee", and Michael Sinterklaas was "Quinton McBeard" (I think, it was something along those lines anyway)
Jdk dabess!
More metal worthy of the god that is Mcburn
I like this song. It's not the best but it is pretty good.
Whenever I think of this theme, surprisingly, i dont think of the Almighty Conflagration, I think of the duel with George.
Yeah ... sadly they turned McBurns fighting theme to the chest boss theme. IMO it was much more fitting!
Georg Nome
🅱️ inga does it again.
Why is this the song people hate? Are they deaf or do they have a raging hate-boner for the guy who made the OST?
Am I the only one the prefers cold steel iii one?
Vincent Lau probably this song is badass!
This song is good but i still prefer mcburn's theme on sen 3.
no
Nope!
@@Scatterblades Erosion of Madness, correct?
The only part of the track that’s really bad is 1:26. Other than that, I loved this song
Whattt!?!?
That part is epic it’s like the flames of McBro burning everything up and keeping his demon form at bay, but almost letting it out.
Kino prog boss song
I don't dislike this song but I hate the part at 1:26
It perfectly captures the madness of mcburn.
@@jeffwolfplays0513 If it only played for him that wouldn't be too bad. Problem is that this song plays constantly for like four big battles back to back and hearing that part every time it loops gets obnoxious.
NoponSage not for me. lol
@@Kraftium really like a "demon god"
What Jeff said
Why are there Bees in the song? And why does it feel so disorganized?
The instructions Falcom sent Singa were probably along the lines of "Rock, and super chaotic." So Singa tried his best to make chaos and this came out... (Way way way better than the second time they sent him those instructions.) And the bees have just been his thing ever since SC and 3rd EVO, randomly showing up as much as ADD's sax in the Hajimari ost.
@@MaskedKingDavid thanks for the info. It does fit McBurn. It's a miracle that a mess can sound really good.
...I wonder what Unisuga and Jindo think of Singa.
Well, imagine some idiot without talent is contracted by your company you work for or with for many years and gets to do your job just because he is considerable cheaper than you.
@@DesMondesBlut I wouldn't say Singa has no talent. But I get what you mean.
Oh man, although this can sound awesome in its own way, most of Sen IV soundtrack sounds like a major step down from last year's Sen III. Even CSI and CSII's soundtrack sounds way more better than Sen IV ost. Although I'm looking forward to playing Sen IV, I can't say the same thing about it's soundtrack. I personally like Zero/Azure's soundtrack ost the best.
depend on the person. Also you need to play the game 1st to completely form your opinion. Some soundtracks sound clearly better when playing during some particular events. Just hearing this on its own might not hit you deep enough yet.
@@BlackCat-yx1zw Yeah you do have a point there. I'll probably get this game(Sen IV)for Christmas so I'll probably adapt to it more then. But as for just hearing it, it kinda sounds out of place for a JRPG, but more befitting of a heavy metal concert.
yeah, but still, Singa's music .... is kinda off for me too. And he was all over Sen 4's OST.
That's just you
Also, since this Falcom we are talking about and assuming they use wav files for the possible PC version, then it should be easy to replace CSIV OST's with some from the previous games.
This is easily my least favorite Singa track in the series
Going from Erosion of Madness to this is like going from a 100000$ Steinway to a 50$ keyboard. Does Singa use any reference tracks at all when making his music? Because I can't imagine listening to the first few seconds of gratuitous and grating guitar panning and going "yeah, that sounds about as great as it can get". At least the melody from 1:00 to 1:20 is good. Oh well.
Singa garbage!
Bruh you literally say this on every one of his songs get a life
Here's your reddit gold, redditor.

For once we agree
Ah, so if YOU'RE saying that, that means it's actually platinum-tier and amazing. Thanks for basically confirming it.
This was awful to listen to, kinda ruined the fights it played in. Not surprised that it was made by Singa...
Really? This is bad for you guys? Or are you just having a raging hate- boner for Singa?
