@APJCarsAccessories if you are traveling from your own car then you can go. If you are planning to rent a car outside of leh it is not allowed.
Also the summer season to visit leh is April to September. But if you like the visit in off-season or winter just like me, then I would suggest Nov end to December full to enjoy the snow and the freezing temparature. I went on 20th Dec 2023 and it was a wonderful exp for me. Only thing you need to tolerate the chillness which is of -12 to -19°C 😀

I think there is no need of permit if you book samudhram package. The package includes the Entry permit. So if anyone wants to visit #Lakshadweep and hesitates because of permit, no worries🎊🎊

Appreciate your effort Ajay. Can you make a video stating places best to visit (in India) for each month so it will help us to plan accordingly. Same manner do another video for international travel too.. I'm planning to travel in March or April for 3 weeks.. Suggest some locations domestically.

Also, for someone from India, it’s much easier to fly to Mauritius or Seychelles than Lakshadweep. There are direct flights from India to Mauritius and both Mauritius and Seychelles have much better infrastructure and no restrictions on swimwear etc. Mauritius also has a significant Indian ethnic population.
I would fly to Mauritius or Seychelles especially if I am in the South of India before I venture out to Lakshadweep which has very minimal infrastructure and too many hurdles.
Have you ever visited Mauritius or Seychelles? You should go there.
And then there is always Thailand or Indonesia. People are not going to visit islands that don’t have much of an infra like Lakshadweep.

You have made some very valid points for developing tourism in India. It has to start with the people first. Not only should you not litter places but should also call out people who do so. I did a rough calculation. Indians contribute about 3.5% to the entire GDP of Maldives, at a conservative estimate. That money can easily be used to develop places like Lakshadweep.

Maldives does promotion mostly by bringing bollywood actors to their islands. So we should also promote Lakshadweep by using our own Indian stars (bolly, kolly, tolly and so on for each state) instead of international actors. Lets promote internally first
