Is it working for you? Don't delete the file, just rename it. In case you need to return to it, just change the name to the original one.
If you want to try different aircrafts in dogfight or create tactical engagement missions you have to find file called teplanes.lst in the same directory as ValidAC.bin. Open the .lst file with notepad and rewrite 0 at the end of each line to 1. That way you can enable the aircraft to be available for you in dogfight and TE.
