U can add 2 d-rings and they become a quick attachment point for bungie ur jacket etc on top of ur bag. Always used the plastic clip buckles but i like the g buckle simplicity. Great idea
Terrific. Just what I needed. I was looking for G-Loop straps for my kriega US dry packs and had 6 useless shoulder straps that I didn't use. Thank you.
FYI to readers - The G-rings are only 75 cents on Matt's link. Matt, it seems like taking a big jolt while cinched down would bend that G leg right off since they are only made of aluminum. But it sounds like you've had no problems with that?
Nope, they have held really well and I have used them for holding down a lot of different stuff. I always double back the loose end to keep it from pulling back through.

This is exactly i was looking for, Great inputs. Thanks for sharing it.
That was an awesome and simple idea, I'll have to consider making these out of my useless straps! Thanks for the video!
G-Rings are awesome! I replace all of my "Plastic" buckles with G-Rings! Great Idea on the "extra" shoulder straps!
Thanks for the knowledge. I have miles of useless straps that I now can put to use. Excellent video without all the specials effects and hoopla
What a great video, l just purchased 20 and will make use of them thanks to you.

I haven't had any problems with these bending. They hold up really well. I also carry a few spares since they small.
Perfect! thanks
thank you
Awesome idea! No issues with them coming undone? Had that happen with my Kriega drypack; luckily only one of the 4 came loose.

@@advmatt I'll try that out! It may be because the Kriega straps are pretty short and thin. Awesome channel btw; lots of great info!
