- Affordability is something that is becoming out of reach for many Canadians. I've been Fortunate to be born in the right time however the younger generation may not be even able to afford a house. Inflation has gotten out of control.

If you don't already own a home good luck ever affording one. Canada is fucked!
There is no way the younger generation will be able to afford a home
They're probably heading to BC and wanted the cheap Alberta fuel. Only fart sniffers live in Canmore and Banff.
🤣🤣😂🤣😂
That was a beautiful place you stayed in Jerry...
It was nice for sure
Nice looking mountain village. Pretty cool
It’s a cool place to visit for sure
The candy store 🤣 I see what you did there 🍻 another great video Jerry!
😂🤣😂
Crazy home prices. Not much different here in the states. Cheers from the double wide sipping a Schmidt’s light with a pinky in the air
As long as it’s not a bud light 😂🤣😂
lol, jk I live in a house but got in back in 2012. Couldn’t afford to live here now.
I carry 75L of gas when I cannonball the 1250km's to my dad's place for Christmas. Between night, the holidays, accidents/closed highways and during covid there were times there was no gas stations open all along Lake Superior until you got down to Sault Ste Marie. Over 1000km's without an open gas station. Safer and easier to just have enough fuel for the entire trip on you. Last time I came back there were 3 accidents that closed the trans canada. Me and the dog waited in the truck for over 9 hours for it to open.
Sitting on the highway for 9 hours must have been brutal
@BackCountryWrenching yup, highway was closed in front of and behind us so couldn't even backtrack 45 minutes to White River. I had my camping gear and plenty of gas, food and drinks so we were good that way.
You Can Do It!!!
That was a BC truck with all the Jerry cans. They are getting the cheap stuff to use back home 😂
Who ya got….Jerry or the X-overland crew?
👍
1:38 I see it all the time living by the border, Albertans go to Montana and bring back extra fuel where it is $3 a gallon. Also fuel in BC is 30¢ more than in Alberta so if you are traveling back to BC best to take some Alberta fuel with you.
You go across the border with a trailer and fuel tank to load up ?
@@BackCountryWrenching No, I am sure the border people do not mind a jerry can or two but a trailer with fuel tanks might be pushing our luck. You would have to pay duty on any extra gas you bring across that is not in your tank.
Gorgeous getaway. Hope everything's well for ya. Been a pretty hard year on my end.
What’s wrong my friend
@@BackCountryWrenching my 11yr corgi passed from cancer april 5th and my mom just got diagnosed with stage 4.
@@jayr1757 I’m so sorry to hear, I feel for you. Be there all you can for your mom just in case.
Haha was just there on the weekend Love their 🍺 🍻
Did you have a good time
@BackCountryWrenching definitely it was lots fun. Nice place to hike as well wasn't too busy. Pretty good beer at the grizzly paw
@1:25. Jerry, we have the same issues down south of you. FJB! 🇺🇸
Enjoyed the video. Awesome scenery.
Double FJB!
triple FJB
If you’re not first, you’re last.
Personally il carry 60l of spare fuel because i buy it on the local reserve at 10+cents per liter cheaper.. and at 12 or so mpg... a long haul i will buy amd carry that chesper fuel! It adds up over time.
Only 10cents cheaper on the reserve
170 in town and 152 reserve currently. Its minimun 10cents tho. And its not out of my way as i drive past 4 stations on my way to and from work everyday so its worth stoping
For us common folk..those tea and cookies are referred to as "Assorted Dainties"
I definitely can't afford to live there. I only get about $1300 from Social Security once a month so i can't really afford to live anywhere anymore. I've been seriously thinking about moving back into my Van again.
Try Philippines or Thailand. Should be good on that much.
Living in a van is the reality for a lot of people coming soon
FN BS. These illegals are getting more than you here in the US. Insane.
@@BackCountryWrenchingI got my 2019 Grand Caravan ready. It won't go where you can but blends in and gets 30 mpg if you try. It will pull over 3000 pounds and inside is more comfortable than most vehicles. Easy for oil changes and maintenance, just need lift kit and bigger tires and roof rack with panels.
@@keithjetski3060 got the same motor as Jeep though 🍻🍻🍻🍻
I like your girlfriend ...please keep her.
Not much better here in the US bro. F These tyrant governments.
