This was really good. So applicable in your 30s, 40s and onward.
Be intentional, cause friendship is like marriage, so commitment is key. You need committed ppl as best friends. I recently had a vulnerable episode with my bestie, and she gave me grace because she realized I was condemning myself, rather than sharing or revealing all, so she could help. Once that happened, it was so easy for her to get me to share stuff I had never revealed, including to my spouse or blood sisters. It felt natural and safe to share that very part of myself. I’m that moment, I realized why she was my bff.

Hey sisters! Hope you are well. I would like to weigh in on the dilemma. I honestly second all the points given by Courtney and Renee. My lovely sister needs to get the honest reason for the ex being on the policy. She also needs to delve into the idea of having the ex removed from the policy if the reason given is not worthwhile. She also needs to consider the entire scope of their relationship before going long term into marriage with the issues arising.

Hi ladies, I hope you all are well!🤍 I wanted to weigh in on the life insurance policy dilemma. I too am not a fan however, I can understand there is something much deeper then we know of. If the fellow sisters bf really wants to do something nice for his ex he can give her x amount and be done with it, or put something in a trust that collects interest and at the time of his death it can be given to her. But to have her in something that can create generational wealth for future legacy and much more it’s a abosolute No for me. Also, I absolutely loved this episode! I learned so much and have some work to do regarding my existing friendships and the potential ones I want to cultivate. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Courtney and Renae for all you do, share, and teach!
