The myelodysplastic syndromes are a group of disorders characterized by low blood counts (cytopenias) and abnormally looking blood cells (dysplasia). It is an important cause of bone marrow failure and can lead to acute myeloid leukemia. This video uses the story of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl as the starting point to explain this condition and make it easier to understand. - Věda a technologie

at 10:47 when you said that mutations affect the blood cell production, couldn't it be cured if someone 'donates' one of their healthy and non-mutated hematopoietic stem cells? Because wouldn't that DNA not majorly affect outside traits but more of organ and other inside traits?
