      Many WR's have already been broken by people using Anabolics- especially in weight lifting c. They're just not recognized. It's sort of nutty to think people taking meds that are designed to enhance performance won't break records.

      @@Dave-dp6yg I don't disagree with most athletes probably being on something. But what they're currently using to beat the system doesn't compare with what's available. We don't see athletes like Mark McGuire or the Randy Savage competing today because they're a waking red flag. We're about to see super humans absolutely breaking records if Anabolics and HGH are on the table.

      @GeorgePerakis Před 6 měsíci +12

      Nah, top athletes can ABSOLUTELY be on MORE gear. But no one who can be on their level will really be caught dead in this competition where everyone is advertised as juiced. So you'll mainly get juiceheads. Not top athletes. Probably. Who knows.

    • @dahliacheung6020
      @dahliacheung6020 Před 5 měsíci

      Exactly. The best of the best have top tier training, top tier DNA, experience competing at the highest level *and* PEDs.
      These people have... Just PEDs?
      And even so, the whole point of cheating is to not get caught. That's why so many people lose their minds over the Olympics- they aren't considering the edge these people have with the combo of genetic advantages and juice so they get their minds blown over what "normal humans" can do with the right training, talent, and dedication. Knowing everyone is boosted like a super soldier would probably make the average watcher a bit less impressed.
      It's like magic tricks; the illusion is the point.

      Like I said you are behind the times. There are athletes that actually get sponsorships that partially or to a great degree pay their living expenses, and they are open about their drug use.
      Just because you don’t know about them doesn’t mean that they don’t exist.
      Public perception and acceptance of drug use has significantly shifted in the last 2 decades. Walk into a modern day gym and you’ll see dozens of people on steroids or on “TRT”.
      Look at women today and the way they dress (especially in a gym environment). 20-30 years ago, gyms were mostly frequented by men, and the few ladies that joined a gym used to cover themselves up a lot more.
      Walking around half naked would have been an outrage.
      Now it’s commonplace for women to wear the skimpiest outfits that they can find that leave nothing up to the imagination, and it’s accepted as being normal.
      Drug use is heading in the same direction. It’s by no means a great development, but that is just the way things are developing. The more drug use is normalized and accepted by the general public, the more sponsors will jump onboard.

Sprinters used to be of shorter stature, and Bolt broke the mold and now you are seeing a lot of new running coming in who are taller and have those long strides.
