I live in Acworth but I'm not in Cobb county. I'm in Paulding Co and I think it's better because the home tax is less there than what others I know paying in Cobb.
I'm moving to Acworth Paulding County by december, I can't wait. how far is it from the downtown Acworth area?
From my house to downtown it's 10-15 mins.
@@sean10474 There is nothing worth going to in downtown Acworth
There is a huge downside of living in Acworth. All of our tax money went into that downtown, but, if you can't afford the million dollar price tag of a home in downtown, Acworth doesn't give a damn about you. I live East of Downtown, the only thing we have gotten is 4 dollar stores. Where I live Acworth crammed subdivisions together so they can have more tax money for the downtown and rich areas. The city even destroyed dozens of Owl nests to cram more homes in. Crime has escalated in these areas, we even have a business of extended rentals that we refer to as crack houses, the morons who run the city don't give a damn about it. When the housing crisis is over, I am getting the hell out of this city.
Good info to know since I am a retired renter. Hard to find rents under 1000 in northwest or northern GA. Just over the border in SC might be cheaper but I need to research
@@selectiveoutrage6617 I haven't decided where to go, but this town isn't worth staying in.
