Recently we discovered this spot, thanks to our friend Nat. It was quite a challenge to find the restaurant, there was no flashy sign, but that was the beauty of it. Hip is the chef and owner of the restaurant, his vision was to cook his food and share it with the local community, specifically central Vietnamese cuisine - Da Nang where he is from.
To us this is a hidden gem and as a local if you are looking at where to eat in Sydney, what to eat in Sydney - you should give this spot a go, especially if you are looking for an authentic Vietnamese food in Sydney.

Thanks for sharing ! How cool
8:58 haha that "thank you" with one hand that looks like you're blessing him. 😂
Went to try this today! Tried the spicy beef noodles and seafood noodle soup and spring rolls! Really nice food and you could taste the soup is homemade with real ingredients! Thanks Hippo for sharing food from your hometown! Booking required! Make sure to book before going as they were busy and we walked in without booking but they were able to arrange a table for us because the other customers finished earlier than expected! Thank you so much to all the kind and welcoming staff!
Glad 🙂 you had an awesome experience Elaine 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙂🙂🙂 - yes Hip was awesome host!
Looks so yummy. Will try to do it one Saturday 🥰
Really enjoy your video. .
loving the green coffee filter! 😍
Will certainly try this place ❤
the soup looks very legit! we were craving pho a few days ago!
Thanks for the video - I hope they are prepared for the influx of visitors!
I love this little place the food looks delicious and the fact that it’s in some house it homely and Hardy…x❤️🥰
Homecooked food is the best🥰
Look so good the food and the place.
You can do bookings now instead of walk-ins 👌🏻
nice! during lockdown there were many "home-restaurant" like that in Goa. some remained, some "moved" to a full-time restaurant, some disappeared.
the thing of opening a few days a week is good, like a soft opening, letting them test or do their on jobs and do this as a side job or hobby.
Yeah, his dream is to one day open the restaurant :)
This place really takes me back to our time in Vietnam 😃 Its so hard to find such authentic restaurants outside of the country. I feel like most places, at least the ones in the UK adapt the food too much to western tastes which really takes away from the dishes
Right! You should cook for us when we meet hahahah
Guys, you are making me crave some Vietnamese food! 😄 That spicy beef and pork looks so dang good!
Loll we’re hungry again for that bun bo!
good video

If you got reactions to msg then you shouldn’t be eating anything. Msg is found everything
Nice one

When having Vietnamese iced coffee, don’t forget to properly stir both the condensed milk n coffee. Should be a tan colour when mixed. Other than that, thank you both for the recommendation.
Whoa it does look like a house! There's something similar here in NJ, but they serve Italian food.
Woww have u guys been?
@@nickandhelmi Not yet! Have to call and reserve lol
Hi Nick & Helmi haven't seen u guy's on CZcams for awhile, where have u been miss to see your clips.

I always passed this road and didn't know about the shop.
Just wondering why there is no sign in front of the house.
Thanks for letting me know, will definitely go there. 😃

My friend’s wife was cooking Nasi kemak and Malay Kueh cooked from home but delivered to grocery shops but was closed by the council. Not sure what the NSW council laws are like.
Sharing with my VIETNAMESE married our TAMIL South Indian Bloke in Coimbatore city.. They cook at home... and pickup.. SAME LIKE This one...
Cheers from Melbourne Victorian from Tamilnadu- Pradeep.

Hello from Japan through Pogiboy
Heyyy hello🥰
omg iam just a suburb away from them and dont even know about it.
💜👍💜👍
🥰🥰
Omg...is it even legal to run a restaurant like that?
Hehe they got the permit :)
It may be hidden because it's illegal? LOL
Is this place Council approved?
LOL why'd you ask that? Trying to snitch?
Hi jason, yes they have permit :) we did ask hehe
What a stupid question to ask 😂😅😂
Your question Jason, is the reason why Australia has become over regulated and a nanny state.
Good on these people for bringing authentic, home cooked central Vietnamese cuisine to the people lucky enough to experience their hospitality.
I'm glad you asked so I didn't have to lol (you can be the bad boy lol)
