EMPYREAN
Empyrean is a unique game mode introduced in Update 27.0. These missions take place in the vast expanse of space, utilizing Railjack and Archwings to combat enemy spacecraft.
Cooperation is vital to survive aboard the Railjack. Man the turrets, pilot the ship, fight the fires - everyone has a role to play here. In this foundational update for Warframe’s space combat, work together to assault the Grineer above Earth, Saturn and at the edges of the Origin System. More factions and locations will come online in future updates.
Reminder: This phase of Empyrean is designed and optimized as a cooperative experience. Solo players will still be able to enjoy Empyrean, but the difficulty and progression is balanced around full crews. 2020 will bring enhanced Solo capabilities with Empyrean!

This boss has never been difficult to solo, it just takes a super long time to complete the second phase with no apparent way to speed it up.
This boss only need patience to do solo
I measured the final explosion with wukong, and it deals 21.3million damage...

Alternative setup for solo:
Titania Prime (mod with -damage when airborne, primed flow, adaptation and high duration/strength, for arcanes equip energize and arcane warmth to negate cold proc on stage one. On stage two you'd be too far to be even hit with the flamethrower anyway.)
Kuva Bramma (mod for multishot + corrosive crit, add slash if needed. Put Sniper Ammo Mutation on exilus for extra ammo if you need)
(no need for catchmoon since you can bramma those Coolant Raknoids from range)
Mod Dex Pixia for fire rate, multishot and Corrosive.
You're (almost) immortal when flying, can shoot raknoids from a distance, can float around shooting vents and collect/toss canisters without going in/out archwing.
Actually just did that today even before I read this. Mod the dex pixia for radiation though so it works better on the raknoids and you can make them fight each other. And I ran aksomati prime though something else would probably be better.
Another good candidate for this would be Gauss since you can use his abilities to run quickly between fractures and quickly dispatch coolant racknoids, also since the exploiter uses heat, cold, and IPS your kinetic plating soaks that stuff up and if you max your battery with redline then you essentially have immunity to anything thrown at you.
@@ERBanmech Ngl...The first time I ever fought the mother was with Gauss and it was epic. I was ducking and weaving through nearly all of her attacks, and running through her legs with well timed sunders to take out the rankoids.
She's probably easier now cause as of the time I fought her, I had a Voidrig, while being in rank 2 in Solaris( I was not captain), so I could just shoot the parts with my Malsonan.
You can ride your Archwing throughout the entire fight which made it a lot faster imo. The only moment you need to dismount is when you remove the vents on the exploiter.
Do you know if amesha ability work on coolant raknoids?

-Tip for the first part of the fight:
1. Unless it has been patched, magus lockdown works on the exploiter orb and if you spam it right after breaking her first vent it will freeze her mid transit so you don't need to wait as long for her to walk to the other side of the room and walk back later. Just a speed running tip mostly.
2. At all times in the fight do not throw canisters when she raises up in the air or is pounding the ground, she will likely drop under the thrown canister or she will shake the screen and send the canister into orbit rather than where you were aiming.
3. Only other advice is not to stand in the open and watch her enter Deck 12, most first time players are gunned down right at the start before they are ready.
-A few tips to speed up the second half I have discovered:
1. Throw the first canister you drag out from the base and shoot mid air like shown in this video to start her overheating faster.
2. Before the first overheat she will gain heat and open fissures the fastest, stockpile 6-10 filled thermia containers during this first phase and use a few of them to start her overheating faster in the second and third parts. If she does not reach 45% heat she will not open fissures so this will greatly speed up the fight if you are not great at killing the coolant spiders she summons and end up stuck trying to stop enough of them for her to open fractures again. If you are garbage at killing the coolant spiders this will prevent the mission from taking forever, and you can always stockpile less in the future if you find you did not need as many. This is not always an issue if she opens fissures right before you rip off a vent, but you do not want to rip off the second vent only to find she has no open fissures, gains heat super slow, and the coolant spiders are getting past you just enough to keep her from opening fissures ever again.
I typically use the same Chroma build I use to solo farm the profit taker orb for this since it is easy to keep his armor buff active and he can one shot the vents and coolant spiders with ease using any decently accurate high damage weapon. I would recommend energizing dash and magus repair or magus elevate on operator if you go that rout, but it makes the fight so easy it can get boring.
Damn I wanna get those nightwave cosmetics so bad, but I'm just so burnt out on Warframe that I can't play the game for more than 30 mins at a time before quitting lol.

Fun Fact. Gauss works really well against this boss since Exploiter does Heat. And Impact attacks. Which he can negate with his 2 and he can turn that into energy
Exactly, gauss is my fav pick for this. His mobility also helps with the second stage.
That and being able to super sprint between fractures and enemies has got to be good
Lol, why tank? You don't need it at all. You're just much slower. Just use Archwing Amesha and Titania. Fly around with Archwing indoors and outdoors to easly shoot vents with canisters and avoid any damage. Then use Titania's Pixia to melt the vents at no time. This gives you AMAZING mobility since you can fly around very fast and for example outdoors spot any raknoids, shoot them very fast, get the coolant and also very fast fly to where there is a fracture. Then back to the Orb to easly shoot the canisters at her. When she's hot you can perform the attack on her even when on archwing. Then you can use again Titania's Pixia that can easly melt the vents and the Orb herself or use Catchmoon kitgun that can also melt the Orb at no time. Titania Razorwing/Archwing with Pixia\Catchmoon is a lot faster than very slow tank with very slow Redeemer.
Tank is a lot safer for most people playing solo though. It’s why people bring Inaros to anything really. Never have to worry about dying.
@@MarcelJ17 If you don't stand in one spot and move around like you're supposed to then you never die either. Especially in this fight - she just shoots lasers than are easily avoided(outdoors) and even mitigated by any wall(indoors). And since we have shield gating now it's even easier to not die. Besides if you can't do that then simply use 5 with Magus Elevate to never die as well and still do this fight faster.

Its just 1 way of many ways you can go.
Yes Amesha and Titania will work easy too but that doesn't mean it's not easy to do it with frames like Nezha.
PS. I did it first with Rhino then with Nezha. Got no problems, it was very easy but yeah maybe not the fastest way but i dont care about that. It just works for me its easy and can watch CZcams videos at the same time.

Octavia makes this entire fight super easy. Go invisible the whole fight and drop your mallet. Exploiter will shoot it any all raknoids from the first phase will die instantly. In the second phase, if you have enough range, the mallet can take out a lot of the coolant raknoids as well.

For my personal choice, Titania is so munch fast in this boss. I go with arcane precision, arcane velocity, razorwing blitz. U can negate every status efects procs on her with her 1. And she's a lot tanky with aviator, adaptation and agility drift. Since u are always casting abilities for get the bonus from razorwing blitz, u are always regenerating your health. Fast, deadly and tanky.
Energy is just the problem especially solo, plus you have to hop out of razor wing in order to properly fill up the thermia canisters and throw them. She works really well in every other prospect though so I just recommend another player for filling and throwing like Gauss since his speed doesn’t mess with object interaction
Instead of using tank frames consider using Zephyr. None of the Exploiter attacks can damage her and Jetstream helps Catchmoon a lot. And her 1 is great for intercepting Coolant Rachnoids in second phase.
high power wisp and fulmin aren't a bad option either... quick zap, and, the coolant rachnoids die.
Autoheals with the motes.... so..
First stage seemed hardest. (Didn't know what to target to start the actual fight (rocks by the walls, footholds for the start) and e, missed the 3rd vent.
Where was this when I was farming Hildryn.
I got all hildryns parts from people carrying me, then realized I had to unlock vox Solaris... And I am rank 2 with Solaris United.

ive been doing this forever with nidus i just drop the thermia underneath exploiter then when i get about 6 i just throw them all bar goes strait up

Oberon is also a good choice, sacred ground affects the coolant raknoids.
Also if the frame you use is tanky enough, the flamethrower attack also builds up the overheat bar, so you can take advatange of that.

This works. Thanks for the guide. I always thought the exploiter orb was a team mission. I don't have all the arcanes at rank 5 however I still defeated her. 30 minutes later. Keep up the great work Grind leader.
I use gauss for fast traverse on 2nd stage and using catchmoon to "catch" those coolant raknoids
You know you can start the exploiter fight in the wild without having to accept the quest in the Fortuna. Just go to Deck 12 and you can start it there.

For as long as I've played Warframe I normally avoid orb boss fights but this explains things extremely simply.
I feel like I don't have to be a seeming bystander in this fight any more.

Gauss is also good for this boss. His 2 greatly reduces physical, heat and cold damage (which is basically everything you will face in the fight), he can use his 4 to boost his DPS and use his 1 to reach the raknoids before they can cool down the Orb.
I do it solo with a Octavia. Is incredible useful.
If you don't have redeemer prime, you have a good melee you can melee her beetween the leg to damage her (somehow). You should get about 6-7 pf those condensed thermia right in stage 2 part 1 of the fight to make part 3 took less time. Since part 1 passive overheat is pretty crazy and you just need about 4 condensed thermia to completly overheat her with no problem.
i would also suggest gara with her 4th to block the little spiders from cooling down the orb spider
Possible, but you would need a pretty massive range build if you're talking about walling off the big spidey.

Ah, Exploiter, my fav boss in Warframe. If you want solo it, take some tanky frame, my pick is Rhino because no knockdown and dmg buff. If you have friend, let one of you pick Gara with solid range. And you don't need Redeemer, I just shoot vents with my side arm (usually rattleguts). And for second phase, I don't run toward every raknoid, just use weapon with good range. I used Opticor Vandal, but now I use kuva karakk with electric bonus.

I use Gauss. Since he absorbes fire and cold damage. And he is great for second phase.

Imo the best frame for this is rhino with his charge Aug and a decent bit of strength. Any primary will do but for me Redeemer is the only thing needed. Use your operator or anything that will pull in those little spiders in in Phase 1 and use charge with Aug for +30k armor and if that's not enough add arcane guardian and arcane tanker as well and you'll get +100k armor plus you have Roar to add dmg buff incase you need it.
This is to date my prefered Boss fight in Warframe.

I would recommend exploiter orb with gara and amesha. Duration & range build (and make sure not negative strength) gara easily block all the coolant spiders and amesha to block the orb's turret.
I love the inaros build and the vid, but is adaption needed and the augment?
Edit: u should build ur redeemer off a heavy attack build. It can one shot the vent and do a decent amount of dmg and crit dmg. If u want

@@Jackie_Tikki_Tavi his redeemer build was not good at all and had the wrong element expoiters weakness is corrosive not radiation, the raknoids weakness is radiation
This build isn't optimized, aside choosing warframe (there are many options), you don't prepare two canisters before next stage started (with that you can rush heatup), as well you should bring 2 canisters when transfer from first phase (use operator for carrying 2nd)
Using operator to grab a second canister is a good tip. I guess you just have to void dash out of the cave? Without high Focus unlocks it could take a long time to traverse from Deck 12 to the plains...
My advice with this: don't do it solo. Even if you can it's super slow, it's better to do it with random players, even if they play terrible
She has ferrite armor so i think u should mod for corrosive instead

Even when profit taker phase 4 ended the dialogue from Duck and made it seem like there was plenty more to it about the Unexplained question why the profit-taker just stood there and just so it can die?,
That's why I have that theory that I truly believe that in the future that we're going to get some kind of update some kind of quest where you are required to complete profit taker because look what happened to the kiva lich digital extremes made them a requirement to access the sister update.. since we now that Plains of eidolon that we have no point to reach Max rank I'm pretty sure in the future we're going to have some kind of update that's what I've been doing too I'm almost Max rank for Plains of eidolon.
I'm just worried that they're going to do something with the operator rank for Fortuna and for Plains of eidolon I'm worried because the snow a lot of ways to get the materials needed it's more of a grind than anything in the game to rank up...
All of the Ranking we do is very similar to leveling up I'm surprised that we don't get Mastery points from it

Great guide, thanks a lot. Had to do a 0-Forma cheapo variant with Nezha, dropping the respective least beneficial mods on each piece, and it still worked like a charm.

first time I did this fight I had no clue wtf I was doing, I played wukong - wasnt that bad his clone killed a lot of the raknoids, but after you make her overheat and you rip off part of her I thought you had to break it with operator amp... the whole fight took 40mins
I prefer deploying my Velocitus to attack her open spots in the 2nd phase, Redeemer does not seem to do that much damage there. Thanks for the guide!

I just did this yesterday solo as well!! I used nova though to slow the stupid coolant spiders. Made her overheat much quicker. I just had to be careful to keep my 1 up so I didn’t die
idk if you knew it but you can take 2 canisters with you if you grab one with your frame , then get the other with your operator and go in the loading area :D
after that you just dash up and..... tada

8 of 10 Coolant Spiders spawned 15 feet from the exploiter for the first and second phase... T_T imagine my frustration when the glassmaker orb spawned... T_T
Volt transistor shield with redeemer corrosive and few viral weapons to bypass the shields on the spiders bringing the thermal canisters.

If you can stand it...let the orb use the flamethrower at you...it heats her up way faster...so...be close to your enemy helps ;)

It's this weird after the profit taker Bounty everybody talked about going out for drinks you would think that they would have been some kind of cut scene where we are drinking with the Fortuna vendors like maybe they end up getting attacked by Nef or something which becomes a cliffhanger for another update... digital extremes really needs to make content more exciting make people more excited for the next update and the next and the next and the next

Gara with loads of range is quite good to use, use her 4th and the spider won’t be able to get in and cool the orb

I use the odonata archwing for the 2nd Phase. The Mobility, overview and dmg buff helps alot.
Just saying, any somewhat tanky warframe with shield is actually more tanky than inaros for exploiter. Because shield gating allows warframe to survive that execution explosion at the end of fight xd

Exploiter is weak against corrosive, not radiation
It's even more stupid that that profit-taker orb is still in Fortuna even when you kill the thing twice LOL even in Destiny when you killed big raid bosses in Destiny one you got some kind of cool dialogue or some kind of cool reward. Example when I killed Aksis on my Warlock in the Wrath of the machine raid and when I went to the hunter vendor at the iron Temple he actually gave me dialogue and said oh my God you are the Warlock who killed Aksis...
Well, they did something on Catchmoon and instead of 13-14K now I see total of 3.5K.
And i just made it. Now is useless. Didn't make fun of it even for a day
Did this fight for the very first time the other day and did it soli blind. Nezha was very effective. Only prob is I ran out of ammo and had to cheese it by getting close to corpus patrols to get to alert 4 and then die on purpose to get my carrier back to get ammo to finish the fight. Long fight but fun. Woo weeeeeee.

I use gauss, his second protect me from cold proc on the first stage and also from getting burnt by the flame thrower,, and because he is fast u can chase the coolant raknoid,

No need to shoot the canesters, you can let them hit her and they will break on inpact either way
the boss itself is very easy the only thing making it hard is the annoying little shitty coolant raknoids that sprint faster than you,you really need catchmoon and pax charge for this
Exploiter orb fight would be fun if it wasn't so buggy... I usually use octavia for this fight... Press 1 and 2, the spider starts to focus on mallet and go invis easy...
Just put tanki titania, you are litterally a turret with you’re dex pixia you can go up and destroy all spiders in spawns and warm her up easily and in first room you can shoot all parts without jump everywhere and you have a good control of raknoïds with your’re 3

I like using wisp,bcs she can be almost as tank as inaros bcs of her vitality mote, and the orb exploiter barely can shoot me bcs of her passive(that shes invisivle while airbone) and her haste mote that i use to shoot orb's engines more rapidly👍😎

Absolutely do not need a Redeemer Prime, it can just one-tap from a distance better than almost anything. This isn't a damage-intensive fight, just annoying with the phases and mechanics.
