A good reason to do Thermia Fractures is if you really really need something to push you over the edge of taking a break from the game or giving up hope in humanity
yeah last time i played warframe i farmed like all 100 for the opticor in like a week and i was so over it it burnt me out so bad that i took a break for a year im back now
Remember playing this for the first time, it was dreadful, the enemy is tough and the objective health is low is one thing, but once you got a good team, the gameplay will start becoming extremely boring. DE knew of the problem and criticism and decide to give us double resources booster till the end of the event, and after that, they just forget and moved on toward other things, i hope DE either improved the event or replaced with a new one while the old one turn into a bounty mission.
For real, maybe bring back Plague Star a bit more? or God forbid some of the awesome sounding events I've heard of but never seen in the one year plus (from Tenocon to Tennocon) that I've been playing, like Scarlet Spear or Orphix Venom. Please can we get another Orphix Venom! I even play the Railjack Orphix for fun sometimes, or to help new players clear the nodes. Maybe do a smaller and longer "Prime Resurgence" for maybe, like, 3 weapons 1 frame and a cosmetic or 2.
The void storm Is news to me, never seen one on an Orphix node (eg. Viper Straight). Anyway, I was saying that I want the whole real event like to come back every once in a while (like Plague Star) and "I even play railjack Orphix for fun". BUT, it's no "Orphix Venom". It's just small pieces (3 Corpus missions) cut from the event and relegated to die forgotten on the RJ starchart with a piss poor drop table, no phasic cells to turn in for a specific reward like the event, and nobody playing it because it's not worth it and even the dialogue makes no sense outside of the event's context.
One reason to do so is your friend who just started doesn’t have to do it alone. Suffering together is preferable to the enormous cruelty required to let someone play it alone.
One of those things in games where you do it literally once and ask: “who thought this would be fun?”. Astonishing this hasn’t been improved over the years.
A mechanically interesting and rewarding boss fight locked behind the worst grind in the game. Thermia fractures are the sole reason nobody fights the orb.
The only good way to run thermia fractures is to go back in time to the second time they ran the event when they patched in the ability to put 4 canisters on a single fracture and people were actually running it because they wanted the mods, exploiter access, and Opticor Vandal. Even then it was still 25 obnoxious mobile defense objectives with constant nullifying pulses. We really tolerated a lot of garbage back when Orb Vallis was getting content updates.
Honestly dude it was almost worth DE making this Thermia farm to watch this video. It was hilarious. At one point it sounded like you were giving advice to someone coming from an abusive home and/or how to leave a toxic relationship.
@@fotis3v480 I solo 90% of the time on Warframe so I never experience lag anywhere. I like that it's a multi stage boss fight that doesn't get One Shot by my primary. It is a large boss that requires some understanding of its mechanics of temp management and it has adds. I honestly wish we had more boss fights in the game like the giant spiders on Venus.
I mean, I actually used the Thermia farming as an opportunity to level up my Necramechs. Killed two birds with one stone, and got more Thermia than I'll ever need.
I do too, probably a good necramech mastery lvl up if going for longer. Plus I recently had to use 4 canisters to start the thermia collection, but it made the enemies harder and tougher too, but the trade-off is getting 1 thermia from 4 canisters so getting them more usually is good. I agree that thermia farming would be updated and I love to fight more of the exploiter orb too since it literally has a lot of standing from lazulite orbs
Railjack Exterminate +Kuva Grattler or Kuva Aygana is a lot better levelling necramechs than this awful event that is even exclusive for only set amount of time.
I honestly really enjoyed the thermia farm back when I did it... Was fun to manage the enemies with lockdowns and my necramech. Might be a little more unfun now that we have overguard but. Sad to know how much others hate it

I go agro pull tank and spend the whole time running in circles as enemies are ignoring the target and instead chasing me as because of the agro sink effect they see killing me as priority 1 and will ignore all other allys and objectives Radiation....is the only threat from friendly fire as with enough hp or armor the enemy won't be able to kill you on the move And agro can't be nulled so that bubble would do nothing Tanks and shield gaters your team needs you to cheese
I didn't mind the event when it first came out. Another thing, I hope we get some events soon, we used to get plenty years ago. I also think hyperion thrusters needs it's cost cutting.
I think the only reason to really run this is exploiter orb herself. She has some quite good drops that skip some of the mining and fishing stuff. So if you prefer fighting over searching and fishing for Tromyzon it might be worth playing it. But only for just enough to get to exploiter. Never run this crap for longer than neccessary. Also Opticor Vandal, which is a good and fun weapon imo.
I hope that this farm is on The chopping block soon. They honestly could make thermia a random reward from fortuna bounties or from doing something specific with the coolant racknoids, like making you kite them to a fracture and then killing them after they siphon it or something
I farmed this when we had double resources, and I had it stacked with another resource booster. So it was a lot more rewarding with x4 or x8 of the good torids if I'm lucky. But the thermia part was still a pain. I actually really like the orb though, it's only the mobile defense part that sucks
I used this event to level up my necramech and archgun, by the time I finish I had so much diluted thermia that I don’t have to worry about this event anymore for like, ever.
You know, Warframe is like that Ex that every once in a while you begin to miss them and you wonder what would be like to be with them again. So you shoot them a text and you link up and slowly you start to remember all the reasons why you left and then you reaffirm to yourself that its better if you never explore this again. This is what I'm experiencing when I watch this.
I kinda chuckle at you saying finding 3 masochists on doing thermia farming and I get it. Honestly I don't mind farming thermia from time to time and I acknowledge it. For players who don't want to spend money and have the experience without being too annoyed of the long process, just take time in doing so. I use thermia missions to lvl necramech since its a good reason too, plus help benefits to get thermia slowly.
This. I only do it occasionally- and for just a few thermia at a time- and it isn't so horrible. Still not overly enjoyable though, but absolutely not as bad as most people seem to think
I remember I played this when it first came out and immediately hated it. Never did exploiter orb, and pretty sure I quit the game a minth after. I came back a month ago and I still avoid it like the devil. Loving the new stuff though!
I remember me and my mate farming the Opticor Vandal when this event came out in 1 go. We, naive as we were, thought FINALLY CONTENT! I quit warframe until Deimos dropped after I did that farm, with some small activity when Railjack dropped and farmed that WHICH WAS A PAIN ASWELL. Because it burns the everliving fuck out of your motivation to play the game!
Excalibur umbra and necramech is my go to. Take all cannisters to fracture. Just spam necramech 4 and can just use the huge aoe to wipe them as they spawn, I noticed if you kill them fast enough they eventually stop spawning xd. Just watch out for radiation proc and don't sit to close to objective. I usually put single shot accurate weapons for umbra instead of a aoe weapon. Got the 100 points in no time doing all cannisters.
This is one of those farms where you set a 60s timer on your phone every time you trigger an ability and watch CZcams in the meantime. It's the epitome of what video game content should not be
This is the most accurate description of thermia farming I've heard. The only real comparison I have to the pain and suffering of farming thermia is crawling underneath a neglected house, ripping out carcinogenic insulation riddled with mold, and finding the bodies of dead animals, all while crawling on your elbows. I think that is the only job I've had that would give you worse reward/time ratio.
And to those thinking this may be a good way of levelling up necramechs boy do I have a better method for you: Railjack Exterminate using a kuva grattler or kuva Aygana to kill with your necramech. Do Seven Sirens, this also means no Calabash on the Veil since that always has a side objective other lower tiers are fine to use just make sure to reset if you hit a mobile defense side objective since that slows down your xp/min rate. Plus on top of that you don't have to worry about waiting until a event that isn't even available 24/7 to level up your necramechs.
Alternatively, do RJ Survival instead. Corpus RJ sucks balls, you don't want to do it anymore than you have to. And you get to stay as long as you want to.
@@robertharris6092 Not true, you specifically do the ones that don't have the horrible side objectives. Only the ones that have a kill crewship side objective. You are able to consistently get into the ship and start killing at about the minute mark which is much faster than setting up thermia fractures.
sadly i need the amalgam mods from thermia rewards. tbh every content on orb vallis is automaticly the worst content with the buggy, way too overpowered electric procs on enemies. sometimes you even fail an easy bounty, because you had to protecc some dumb drone and it randomly gets hit by a stray electric proc and it just dies. orb vallis is cancer in every way and it should be reskinned to be full of sh** instead of snow
orb vallis is miserable, annoying and inconsistent in everything you can or have to do there especially as a new player, you just contantly die by electroprocc randomly and sh** never stops spawning in to annoy the hell out of you
I feel the same way about spy missions. Thermia was how I leveled my Voidrig and Mausolon before I had solid railjack intrinsics, and I got amalgam mods too without knowing or caring about what diluted thermia was for, so it wasn't bad at all. That's 1/2 the reason why I'm happy to help new players do it, the other half is I'm greatfull to the players that helped me with spy missions before I gave up at MR-3. Maybe I actually am a sadist because I'd rather do admittedly brain dead thermia than any of the sneaky hide and seek stuff like spy/ bounty/ night wave or anything else with stealth or hidden caches... I never feelt forced to do thermia (unlike spy). If I wanted to play a stealth game I'd play an old Splinter Cell game, Warframe is the last game on my list I want to be stealthy in. I know that's just me, but I don't get why you would want to slow down a fast paced "murder everything" game with movement as good as Warframe's. Imagine a forced slow down with stealth in Quake 3 arena or Unreal, that's exactly how I feel every time I have to "stop playing" to do a spy mission. Sure you can memorize the map and get good to the point where it's just a braindead cheese, but I can say the same about thermia and ask "Do you really want to get good at it? Or make builds for it?" Long live "Zoom and Boom"!!!
Its crazy how everything fortuna has sucked for like 2 years but DE hasn't changed litteraly any of it cuz its old content and they dont carr about it enough to fix it
one good reason to do thermia farctures is actually Toroid farm! just look if any of the toroid locations have thermia fractures in/near them! cause it will spawn soo soo many enemies you can get the toroids from! also either have a frame with status immunity or with arcane healing maxed(prvents radiation status effect) and/or stay out of range of the nullifier bubble cause otherwise you will just steight up DELTE the objective! also tell ur team to do that! if u do it like this it's not actually THAT bad and even fun with the toroid farm!
I disagree Grendel is obviously the best farm, and my definite favorite of all of them it's probably the only thing that I like more than the thermia fractures
@@hshot2000 I definitely see your point, however, while being extremely fun, grendel only took me 45 minutes to farm, while harrow took me 14 hours. Which is why i think grendels farm just isnt as good ever so slightly, i like things that take a long time, like my dad.
I only farmed Hildryn after getting 129 sealed fractures. I haven't played it for like several months now after I got Hildryn. I enjoy murdering hordes of enemies in this mission so somehow I was able to play until I completed it.
I did this with Loki with 200 health 280 shield and 144 Armor 😂 i really appreciate your giude as your method is superior to how i was playing it. Just so you know, it doesn't matter if you place either coolant into fracture. I had to try it since you mentioned it. 😅
Recently started playing again. I've been doing this with Octavia with a zero forma setup for range and efficiency and stay permanently invisible while an Amped Mallet keeps everything distracted. Taking 3 cans to the first fire means I only need to take the single resulting can to another fire, cutting out the second visit to Exploiter. You occasionally get nullified but no radiation bubbles to pop your cans so far.
I did this as a duo last night because it's hard to find people who know what there doing. We did each node with 4 canisters so it would finish when it's done. We would do one run ext then jump back in. It took 5 hours and was not woth it.
My fairly decent setup is rhino (prime) + bramma: 1. Find fracture and tag it 2. Kill four spiders 3. Get one canisters on rhino, then trasference, get invis and pick a second canister 4. Teleport to the tag, drop two canisters on the ground, teleport back to where you killed the spiders and repeat #3. 5. Deposit all 4 canisters at once and defend for ~3 minutes. Do this while under the effect of a resource boost x2 and farm a bunch of it. I guess you can combine these two methods and watch something else in the meantime
I honestly don't know what the big deal is. I hated the Nightfall Apothic quest more than this. I have several reasons to do this, farming Hildryn, farming standing to get a better amp, etc. The Lazulite Toroid's are great for increasing standing..
I wanted to add, I do not have the Amesha at all, nor half the mods. I did this with a friend a few years ago and don't remember having issues with it.
Probably the only fun thing in Warframe has been farming 50 thermia thingies after 2 weeks of playing ALOT of the game. Fun flying to grab 4 bottles, fun and dynamics battling off the crazy waves - rewarding once complete. All the other missions are SOUL DESTROYING - I've given up on the game now it's just the same EXACT content over and over and over and over and over again. Awesome game for a week but even the first couple missions are like hmm, these are identical - thermia was so fun as its suchhhh a free and different challenge for a new player especially flying around and finding new fractures.
Mobile defense, but its the entire fucking Orb Vallis map. DE really needs to do something about the duration of each fracture that you seal, for example reducing the time required to defend it for every kill that is done within a certain range of the fracture/coolant. And if it actually works like that, goddamn I barely feel the difference.
Legitimately, I *did* buy Hildryn while I had a plat discount from a daily log in reward instead of farming Thermia. And I gotta say, it feels good to know that was a good use of a plat purchase discount
The absolute minimum times you have to do to get Hildryn from Exploiter is three - of you are very lucky with blueprint drops. You'll need a resource booster. A Smeeta Kavat with Charm can also help. Also, event resource booster, other resource boosters and Charm stack multiplicatively, so you can pull 8 or maybe more toroids from Exploiter if all comes together.
Amalgam Shotgun Barrage, Serration, Barrel Diffusion, and Organ Shatter. Not tradeable. Those are why. tbh, I've given up on getting those amalgam mods, I'll just stick with my galvanized variants.
I have a masochist friend then... We farmed out Ash together... before he was changed. We've also farmed every frame down to G together, and we're still going.
had the funy thought with the recent double drop weekendthat that event ironically encourages you to do your most hated farming content as you don't have to farm them for as much time, I did in fact do some thermia lol.
Okay so farming this basically required me to tune out. This man does not lie- it is the worst part of warframe I have ever encountered. Its something to do with the white corpus helmets on the white snow for me, my eyes hurt trying to focus on who was where.
Doing this in a public lobby was the worst warframe experience in my life. People lagging, people dying, people messing up the fractures, people literally fishing in hopes of someone doing this content for them. I did this once and then never again.
The go to with my buds is two Proteas, two groups(one on either side of the 35m mark to avoid nullifier bubble), and infinite Voidrig 4. It is equally as boring but at least excessive numbers are fun at first.
@Brozime, Pillage is really really good on a lot of frames. The only reason to do this. You can play with Hyldron when she gets a prime, maybe then half her kit will be fun to play with.
if you are in a group of 2 its actually quite fast and not that much different from mob deff find the mob everyone takes 1 and search for a fissure drop them go back to the mob take another 1 each and throw all 4 into the fissure deff for like 2-3 min and u get them. not the most fun to do but not actually that much worse than some other farms in the game solo its just pain and feels realy bad
Did they buff this farm or something? Newish player, saw it as an event, found 3 others in recruiting and we got 100 in 2 hours, maybe less. It took us a bit to figure out the radiation, but once we did we were busting down 4 canister fissures like nothing. Maybe I got extremely lucky with the team comp, they were all fairly experienced players. I played Rev, kept a lot of attention off the fissure with my thralls while we had a Zephyr CCing.
I did it solo as a new player grabbing 4 canisters and dropping them all next to the fracture - chucked em all in and farmed the points super quick - really enjoyed the whole thing lol much funner than the insanely repetitive missions
Every now and then I get the itch to fight Exploiter Orb. I have a decent stockpile of Thermia from...somewhere. I don't remember doing an aggressive farm for it, but whatever, I got it. I would like the Ephemera but they're not necessary. I'm waiting for Hyldrin Prime before I shove the regular one into Helminth. That should tell you how much I'm in a rush to grab a second copy of her.

You can get energy in the Amesha by popping your 4 and flying (aggressively) into terrain. Your 1 cannot be active, though.

Never had an issue with running thermia fractures. I just pop in public and start running it, pretty much always had someone join in

I remember I played this when it first came out and immediately hated it. Never did exploiter orb, and pretty sure I quit the game a minth after. I came back a month ago and I still avoid it like the devil. Loving the new stuff though!
Only reason I did it was 2 runs a day of exploiter got me little duck standing
I remember me and my mate farming the Opticor Vandal when this event came out in 1 go. We, naive as we were, thought FINALLY CONTENT! I quit warframe until Deimos dropped after I did that farm, with some small activity when Railjack dropped and farmed that WHICH WAS A PAIN ASWELL. Because it burns the everliving fuck out of your motivation to play the game!

Thermia grinding is really demotivating
Excalibur umbra and necramech is my go to. Take all cannisters to fracture. Just spam necramech 4 and can just use the huge aoe to wipe them as they spawn, I noticed if you kill them fast enough they eventually stop spawning xd. Just watch out for radiation proc and don't sit to close to objective. I usually put single shot accurate weapons for umbra instead of a aoe weapon. Got the 100 points in no time doing all cannisters.
I did it to get Amalgam Organ Shatter to put on my Glave Prime. I did the two canister method with Octavia, and it wasn’t too horrible.
This is one of those farms where you set a 60s timer on your phone every time you trigger an ability and watch CZcams in the meantime. It's the epitome of what video game content should not be
My friends told me to do the 100 clears for the gun at the end, since i'm a new player. I might need it for mastery later.
I keep these around for when I want to feed my Helminth something fancy.
I had a better time waiting for the 75% plat discount login reward to buy hildryn than doing thermia.
This is the most accurate description of thermia farming I've heard. The only real comparison I have to the pain and suffering of farming thermia is crawling underneath a neglected house, ripping out carcinogenic insulation riddled with mold, and finding the bodies of dead animals, all while crawling on your elbows. I think that is the only job I've had that would give you worse reward/time ratio.
And to those thinking this may be a good way of levelling up necramechs boy do I have a better method for you:
Railjack Exterminate using a kuva grattler or kuva Aygana to kill with your necramech. Do Seven Sirens, this also means no Calabash on the Veil since that always has a side objective other lower tiers are fine to use just make sure to reset if you hit a mobile defense side objective since that slows down your xp/min rate. Plus on top of that you don't have to worry about waiting until a event that isn't even available 24/7 to level up your necramechs.
this is a great XP if you don't want to touch RJ.
You spend like 5+ minutes just to get to the actual exterminate mission. It only takes like 2 minutes at most to start a thermia fracture.
Alternatively, do RJ Survival instead. Corpus RJ sucks balls, you don't want to do it anymore than you have to. And you get to stay as long as you want to.
@@robertharris6092 Not true, you specifically do the ones that don't have the horrible side objectives. Only the ones that have a kill crewship side objective. You are able to consistently get into the ship and start killing at about the minute mark which is much faster than setting up thermia fractures.

tbh every content on orb vallis is automaticly the worst content with the buggy, way too overpowered electric procs on enemies. sometimes you even fail an easy bounty, because you had to protecc some dumb drone and it randomly gets hit by a stray electric proc and it just dies. orb vallis is cancer in every way and it should be reskinned to be full of sh** instead of snow
orb vallis is miserable, annoying and inconsistent in everything you can or have to do there

I feel the same way about spy missions. Thermia was how I leveled my Voidrig and Mausolon before I had solid railjack intrinsics, and I got amalgam mods too without knowing or caring about what diluted thermia was for, so it wasn't bad at all. That's 1/2 the reason why I'm happy to help new players do it, the other half is I'm greatfull to the players that helped me with spy missions before I gave up at MR-3. Maybe I actually am a sadist because I'd rather do admittedly brain dead thermia than any of the sneaky hide and seek stuff like spy/ bounty/ night wave or anything else with stealth or hidden caches... I never feelt forced to do thermia (unlike spy). If I wanted to play a stealth game I'd play an old Splinter Cell game, Warframe is the last game on my list I want to be stealthy in. I know that's just me, but I don't get why you would want to slow down a fast paced "murder everything" game with movement as good as Warframe's. Imagine a forced slow down with stealth in Quake 3 arena or Unreal, that's exactly how I feel every time I have to "stop playing" to do a spy mission. Sure you can memorize the map and get good to the point where it's just a braindead cheese, but I can say the same about thermia and ask "Do you really want to get good at it? Or make builds for it?"

one good reason to do thermia farctures is actually Toroid farm! just look if any of the toroid locations have thermia fractures in/near them! cause it will spawn soo soo many enemies you can get the toroids from! also either have a frame with status immunity or with arcane healing maxed(prvents radiation status effect) and/or stay out of range of the nullifier bubble cause otherwise you will just steight up DELTE the objective! also tell ur team to do that! if u do it like this it's not actually THAT bad and even fun with the toroid farm!
Isnt there a radiation arcane that can make you immune to rsdiation damage i think there is one for every status im not sure thoe

@@hshot2000 I definitely see your point, however, while being extremely fun, grendel only took me 45 minutes to farm, while harrow took me 14 hours. Which is why i think grendels farm just isnt as good ever so slightly, i like things that take a long time, like my dad.
The only reason I ever did thermia was for for the amalgam mods and while leveling my mech.
Now if they added arcane energize to the farm I would stand there menacingly with my Xaku doing the baro kiiteer emote.
I only farmed Hildryn after getting 129 sealed fractures. I haven't played it for like several months now after I got Hildryn. I enjoy murdering hordes of enemies in this mission so somehow I was able to play until I completed it.
I did this with Loki with 200 health 280 shield and 144 Armor 😂 i really appreciate your giude as your method is superior to how i was playing it. Just so you know, it doesn't matter if you place either coolant into fracture. I had to try it since you mentioned it. 😅

For people in this specific purgatory, hildrin prime now exists.
Recently started playing again. I've been doing this with Octavia with a zero forma setup for range and efficiency and stay permanently invisible while an Amped Mallet keeps everything distracted. Taking 3 cans to the first fire means I only need to take the single resulting can to another fire, cutting out the second visit to Exploiter. You occasionally get nullified but no radiation bubbles to pop your cans so far.
I did this as a duo last night because it's hard to find people who know what there doing. We did each node with 4 canisters so it would finish when it's done. We would do one run ext then jump back in. It took 5 hours and was not woth it.
Why the fuck would you extract after every run. That prob doubled the time it takes.
My fairly decent setup is rhino (prime) + bramma:
1. Find fracture and tag it
2. Kill four spiders
3. Get one canisters on rhino, then trasference, get invis and pick a second canister
4. Teleport to the tag, drop two canisters on the ground, teleport back to where you killed the spiders and repeat #3.
5. Deposit all 4 canisters at once and defend for ~3 minutes.
Do this while under the effect of a resource boost x2 and farm a bunch of it. I guess you can combine these two methods and watch something else in the meantime
I honestly don't know what the big deal is. I hated the Nightfall Apothic quest more than this. I have several reasons to do this, farming Hildryn, farming standing to get a better amp, etc. The Lazulite Toroid's are great for increasing standing..
I wanted to add, I do not have the Amesha at all, nor half the mods. I did this with a friend a few years ago and don't remember having issues with it.
Probably the only fun thing in Warframe has been farming 50 thermia thingies after 2 weeks of playing ALOT of the game.
Fun flying to grab 4 bottles, fun and dynamics battling off the crazy waves - rewarding once complete.
All the other missions are SOUL DESTROYING - I've given up on the game now it's just the same EXACT content over and over and over and over and over again.
Awesome game for a week but even the first couple missions are like hmm, these are identical - thermia was so fun as its suchhhh a free and different challenge for a new player especially flying around and finding new fractures.

DE really needs to do something about the duration of each fracture that you seal, for example reducing the time required to defend it for every kill that is done within a certain range of the fracture/coolant. And if it actually works like that, goddamn I barely feel the difference.
I said it on stream and I'll say it again: It's around the timeframe of Thermia coming out that I burned out of Warframe and took a nice long break.

The absolute minimum times you have to do to get Hildryn from Exploiter is three - of you are very lucky with blueprint drops. You'll need a resource booster. A Smeeta Kavat with Charm can also help. Also, event resource booster, other resource boosters and Charm stack multiplicatively, so you can pull 8 or maybe more toroids from Exploiter if all comes together.
Always use mesa in the open world every open world. Makes all open world super easy. Close your eyes and spin around and you will win no matter what
Nullifers mess up that strategy real quick.
Amalgam Shotgun Barrage, Serration, Barrel Diffusion, and Organ Shatter. Not tradeable. Those are why. tbh, I've given up on getting those amalgam mods, I'll just stick with my galvanized variants.

had the funy thought with the recent double drop weekendthat that event ironically encourages you to do your most hated farming content as you don't have to farm them for as much time, I did in fact do some thermia lol.

Okay so farming this basically required me to tune out. This man does not lie- it is the worst part of warframe I have ever encountered. Its something to do with the white corpus helmets on the white snow for me, my eyes hurt trying to focus on who was where.
Doing this in a public lobby was the worst warframe experience in my life. People lagging, people dying, people messing up the fractures, people literally fishing in hopes of someone doing this content for them. I did this once and then never again.

The go to with my buds is two Proteas, two groups(one on either side of the 35m mark to avoid nullifier bubble), and infinite Voidrig 4. It is equally as boring but at least excessive numbers are fun at first.
@Brozime, Pillage is really really good on a lot of frames. The only reason to do this. You can play with Hyldron when she gets a prime, maybe then half her kit will be fun to play with.

if you are in a group of 2 its actually quite fast and not that much different from mob deff
find the mob everyone takes 1 and search for a fissure drop them go back to the mob take another 1 each and throw all 4 into the fissure deff for like 2-3 min and u get them.
not the most fun to do but not actually that much worse than some other farms in the game solo its just pain and feels realy bad
Did they buff this farm or something? Newish player, saw it as an event, found 3 others in recruiting and we got 100 in 2 hours, maybe less. It took us a bit to figure out the radiation, but once we did we were busting down 4 canister fissures like nothing. Maybe I got extremely lucky with the team comp, they were all fairly experienced players. I played Rev, kept a lot of attention off the fissure with my thralls while we had a Zephyr CCing.

I literally did this farm for the optical vandal to get it out of the way before the wukong nerf. I don't plan on doing it again.
I don't know if this still works but you can charm all enemies with Octavia's roller and if you don't kill them, no new enemies will spawn

I did it solo as a new player grabbing 4 canisters and dropping them all next to the fracture - chucked em all in and farmed the points super quick - really enjoyed the whole thing lol much funner than the insanely repetitive missions
Every now and then I get the itch to fight Exploiter Orb. I have a decent stockpile of Thermia from...somewhere. I don't remember doing an aggressive farm for it, but whatever, I got it. I would like the Ephemera but they're not necessary. I'm waiting for Hyldrin Prime before I shove the regular one into Helminth. That should tell you how much I'm in a rush to grab a second copy of her.
