Renegade is Strong at Roaming and Small Scale WvW (with builds) - Guild Wars 2

I prefer the 2nd build in most cases. First build with HP regen food (for passive proc) might be slightly stronger for solo roaming and also vs heavy condi damage but it's weaker in group fights and gets focused down more easily.
Gear is mostly celestial, or all. I run a couple pieces of Vipers too. Grieving is another option.
2nd weapon set is staff or mace+shield.

I started playing Revenant some in the last couple months, mostly Renegade so these are some Renegade fights in WvW. It felt like it was pretty quick to learn though energy management and legend swapping takes some getting used to.
Like many cele specs it is very strong small scale where cele is overtuned, decent medium scale and less useful in large fights where conditions are not as useful. Stability and group damage reduction is useful everywhere in wvw though. Learning ALL necro builds in WvW next though I may have another renegade video at some point.

Thanks for the upload, it was very instructional for me as someone who doesn't play Rev at all to get a general overview of the Renegade play style! I actually watched it on 0.5x speed to be able to recognize every individual input. Also, I'd love to see more content from you! Looked at your channel and saw that there are very little recent videos. Keep it up!

here's a tip vigi, when you reach under 10% of skill resource energy swap stance and you refill it with the 75% :)
They did pretty much always use up all their energy before swapping in the video, no?
@@Nitidus plenty of times yes. it's not pve so you often have to gamble between 50% recharge and 75%+
