Cloud Ele Roams Around Zergs, Floats Through Them | GW2 WvW

Came back to Guild Wars 2 from a 1.5 year break and became addicted to WvW again :P These are some DPS staff/clouding fights.
A buddy asked for some ele tips and I feel like these longer clips may help show positioning better. Staff weaver still gets highest damage but big damage needs good positioning. Think of the enemy zerg as a train that can't easily change direction unless it stopped. It isn't chasing you, it's chasing the largest mass of players. So kite sideways out of the way, not backwards. Weaver can't stand in red circles (tempest can). Position based on what utility skills are up and if fire4 is within 1 swap away.
I try to use escape skills with this priority: Burning Retreat ⋗ Twist of Fate ⋗ Lightning Flash (last resort). If Lightning Flash isn't up, positioning suddenly matters because longbow users and many other things can easily kill you. Mist form is also good for this purpose though I don't use it on weaver.

Not new to game but new to WvW as an ele. Been playing tempest but feel the lack of DPs. Do you have a build you can share?

The weaver staff build has remained the same for a long time. This build code should work directly in ingame chat:

If it doesn't work its:
air 3 2 1
fire 3 3 1
weaver: 3 2 1
Gear is a mix of zerk/marauders/dragon pieces to stay under 75 or 80% crit rate (with food). Zerk adds more damage but the 4 stat options give more health that can translate to more damage in practice. I like around 40% zerk.
Runes are deadeye or scholar. Same thing but you adjust armor differently. There's a number of sigil options so that's personal preference but the stacking sigil should be Bloodlust (power) if you use it on weapon swap.
