- Diving blind into this adventure to unravel the mysteries of the universe! And we're starting to slowly get the picture. Or..? I mean, I did bonk my head more than once. Maybe I'm going insane.
So first we weren't allowed to jump and this time we barely can! The episode is long (sorry not sorry?) but there's just so much to explore and I even cut out a lot (mostly of me swimming around and singing, so you're not missing anything haha!)

The reason for the difficulty jumping and stuff is the increased gravity. Giants Deep has twice the amount of gravity. Its also why you died when you got flung out to space and it came back down.
Oh yes 😂 I did notice that (and commented on it) at one point. I really thought it was some toxic water thing haha! First time I noticed the gravity bar, actually, so that was funny 😋
I have been binge watching these episodes and you are doing a great job of putting things together on what is happening.
Some non spoiler tips that you might want to know that the game told you.
Yes you have a map. The button to open it is flashing at 19:56 after being told this. I find a lot of people have control blindness when the buttons are displayed on the screen. That probably explains that reply to Gabbro.
Gabbro also has another Qol option if you talk to them again.
The things with the radio tower and satellite are the start of the breadcrumbs for the DLC so is fine to leave until after you finish the game.
Totally guilty of this! And playing other games meanwhile makes me forget certain details or things I dont use often.
I looked back at some footage from earlier episodes and I do use the map 😅 I also saw the prompt while editing, so defo on screen blindness..
I even noticed how I can read the same text and not remember I've read it before - however, it seems that the more understanding you get for what's happening, the more the texts have meaning for you. So I guess that's why it's sometimes repeated.
Yea, I wont follow them crumbs for now, but will go back to Gabbro to make sure that I get all the convo options (I put it on my list) 😁

the first 8 minutes are one of the most iconic "first visits to blooby" i've ever seen. well worth the wait, lol

I looked back on some old episodes and I've used the map (when in the ship) before! I guess I forgot about it since I didnt use it much O.O

I have no freakin idea! But needless to say, I was on cloud 9 when I finally got there, haha! I think I sometimes build up places, goals or achievements in games in my mind and I'm almost scared that it won't live up to my expectations. Surely did not disappoint though :D

@@emptyhawkinjs Maybe since I visited Blooby so late? A lot of information sort of fell into place faster since I didnt go for Gabbro from the beginning, I think. I'm really glad I held off on Giants deep for as long as I did though! It's funny how this game just works in whatever way you approach it..
People are right that you should leave the dlc till you finish the main game but if you have intention of playing the dlc for this game i think it's worth doing it before you "finish" the base game. You'll know when you'rev"finishing" the game when the time comes but when you get their maybe decide to do the dlc then do the finishing touch. DLC is complimentary to the base game and answers a lot of questions
Also don't be hesitant to use landing view when landing ship as it makes things so much easier. And don't be afraid to use the scout to light up areas or to take to take pictures, and the booster to move faster when on foot, and also more matching velocity on to maneuver easier. Can't wait for more episodes
Yea, more people have commented the same - to do the dlc before perfectly ending the base game. Makes a lot of sense to me :)
I think I'm a little too impatient to use the landing view, but you're defo not wrong! I should do that more often hah!
Yes, true. I should give scout more credit. I sometimes feel like I want to see it "with my own eyes" and forget about scout? I dunno.
Yea, I do the "link run", as I'm calling it in some episode on Brittle haha xD Dont do it too often though cos I dont want to miss anything heheh :D
I use match a lot but it sometimes feels like it's not working? Almost like the target thing doesnt work sometimes. I might be coming in too hot to match it fast enough, hmm..

@@Kahli_TheNerdyour doing great. Also don't feel bad if you wanna finish the game without the dlc. Dlc can be long and honestly the end of this game feels so good ish and feels complete that I feel bad about you prolonging it. Best of luck however you handle it

Personal suggestion, in case you didn’t already know:
The whole “deep space satellite/radio tower on timber hearth” stuff that you’ve seen and talked to Gabbro about is the DLC, not the base game. I think it is best to beat the base game first then go explore that stuff ::)
Thank you :) Yea, gottagowork mentioned it in the comments on ep2. That's why I was a bit "hmmm maybe lets not ask about it?" while I was talking to her. Though I was a bit afraid to randomly trigger the dlc since I do want to finish the base game first, so reading your comment calms me a bit :D I promise I will not chase good Ol' Spacey until I've finished the base game
@@Kahli_TheNerd Well if you have planned to do the base game first, then don't go ALL the way, you will know it by feel...that is the perfect time to do the DLC :) .
