Season 5 Episode 2: In July 1996, two men entered a pawnshop in Birmingham, Alabama, and callously murdered the employees. Unbeknownst to the killers, a video surveillance camera recorded the incident. The FBI released images of the crime to the media and agents were quickly able to identify the perpetrators. Now authorities had to find two cold-blooded killers who knew that they were being pursued.
The FBI Files is an American docudrama that takes a look behind the scenes of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's crime laboratory.
Real FBI cases are recounted through reenactments and interviews, due to the sensitive nature of the show, viewer discretion is advised.

This show does a really good job of recreating the investigation and the gun and action sequences. Better than some movies...

Better than all movies indeed
I like how they got the real detective who worked the case to be their actors, and they really put their all into it too. Love the FBI files.
I know right.. The quality is through the roof.
The acting sucks and the id carried by the would-be FBI guys at 27:03 is a joke. Looks like a city cop badge and business card. The FBI creds are very distinctive and if you ever saw one you would remember it. The FBI does not flash their creds like the goobers in the video, they put them up in your face so you can see it.
No way....
D detectvs ain't d actors 😄
I'm tryna figure out what transpires in someone's life to make them want to commit these types of murders at the age of 16. Those three individuals lost their lives for literally nothing...
Boredom, mostly. Uneducated thugs with nowhere to go for fun.

I can't believe at this age those young men feel nothing else to do , not looking for a job or enrolled in some type of program nothing else than hunt people and murder them make me sick to my stomach 👿
I worked in a county school system in both middle school and high school for many years. As many programs there are for our kids that provide a positive atmosphere and assist with school work, provide food, shelter, and much more, it wasn't cool for many of them. I can point out statistics left and right for reason of failures however, it all starts at home with two honest, clean and caring parents. This is the life that these young dummies chose to live. I’ve seen numerous young boys that had a great life growing up, then they fall into wanting to be a follower, and take the wrong path.
And they will never learn
For some reason the gangbanger life seems appealing. The people that actually live it, would probably rather have taken a different path in life but don’t complain and make the most of it. Others wrongly look up to these people, thinking it’s a luxurious lifestyle. Then they find out.
It is a shame that these young men allowed theirselves to be so vicious and cruel at their ages and wasted their lives in prison for the rest of their lives..From what I see in the men lives. They were always running the streets never having a stable place to reside..Their Lives are Over. What a shame..
YES YOUNG DUMMIES
That's why I watch FBI. I so wish they operated the whole world to get these murderers and higher crimes.
Brave officers, thank you for your service, my heart aches for the victims
Brave officers indeed.
However, unless you personally know the victims, don't let it affect you. It's not good for you.
With all the violence, death and destruction reported worldwide daily, if you let all that get to you, you will become a suicidal broken mess.
It sounds horrible, but I watch these sorts of programs for entertainment only.
It's for the families and friends that knew the victims involved to feel emotion for them.
With so many deaths reported daily, there is no shock value to any of it anymore like it was for my parents, grandparents ect.
At work. But I know what I’m doing afterwards. Been looking forward to a new FBI FILES
I feel r n in 2021 every establishment/business should have a security system like surveillance cameras or alarms cuz sometimes they're the only help in a criminal investigation. I feel all homes should have cameras too. The cameras are silent meaning that they can't talk but trust me they always show u the evidence🗣🗣
I agree, especially now they cost very little.
@Audacious Altair Should apply for grants for their community.
Actually cameras don’t always depict exactly what happens. Often you can hear and see two gun shots but actually 3 shots were made. It’s not as cement as it may seem

Well done to the FBI officers for proper investigation leading to prevention of more death and arrest of the perpetrators. These boys were very young: 16 and 18 years, they were children. In as much as they have to take responsibility for their actions, their behavior raises a myriad of questions about the nature of families, communities and society, they came from. where were their fathers? mothers? brothers? sisters? cousins? The info about the uncle .. he was on probation and was found in possession of one of the stolen guns, he was in no position to offer guidance, advice and leadership. The one was who driving seemed to have had his life sorted out before the commission of these crimes , he is fortunate not have been sentenced to death and I hope he will use the period of his incarceration to teach the youth out there about the dangers of crimes. i am deeply sorry to the those that were killed and sincerely apologize for the senseless violence committed by these boys.
