As a Cincinnatian, I will never forget the panic those two caused around town during their killing spree. My late wife and I actually sat next to them in a restaurant , and exchanged a bit of small talk. The murders has already begun, but local authorities had yet to identify them, so most of us didn't know what they looked like. Later, that same day, they attacked the Norwood couple , and were identified by forensics. When my wife and I saw the 11:00 news the next night, we were beyond shocked , because we recognized them as the couple in the booth from the day before.

No man or woman who is not related to you and who has been a constant in your life should be asking to take your child anywhere. And if they do, the answer should always be "no". If they have a problem being told no, then there's your proof that you said no at the right time! I've only had 1 person get irritated that I wouldn't let my daughter leave alone with him(and his friend)to clean fish... He even went as far as to say, 'you can't think everyone is a child molester' (which I never said anything about)... Fast forward to the school yr, 1 of my kids mentioned the name of that person at school to another student(small town), a teacher overheard and sent child protection to my home to inquire if I was dating him. I explained that I wasn't dating him and wouldn't be dating him any time in the future. She said,' If you do decide to date(him), do not, under any circumstances, leave him alone with your children'. Idk what he has done, my best guess is that they couldn't prove it or say it, but were definitely concerned enough to go out and warn anyone that might be involved with him in any way. That was creepy.

Right I wish he would’ve pulled his mom to the side discreetly and told her and told her that he had seen them on a wanted criminal tv ad . She probably could’ve snuck off and called the police and had them come and do a ambush unexpectedly while they were in her bathroom cutting their hair.. she shouldn’t have had them strangers in her home with her kids anyway

Part of the guilt for the 7 gruesome killings is on the parole board who let him on the street, on the judge who thought “eh, what the heck, so what if he raped a 14year old or a 40 year old woman, the man has needs, the women will get over it: let’s give him…I don’t know, probation? And release him on $2 bond. Let’s see if he has learned a lesson!” 😡 I hope you go to hell judge and his defence attorneys!

After my divorce, I didn’t bring men around my babies. I wasn’t abused. I’ve just seen more domestic violence than I should have as a child. My goal was to raise my babies with minimum trauma. Two of them are grown now. I couldn’t live with myself had something happened not one of them on my watch. They were worth the sacrifice. Go to your friend? Why didn’t she go to the police from the start. Heck, why did she allow her child to go with a man who she barely knew. Some predators will date you to get to your child(ren).
