Season 3 Episode 12: In 1995, a mother of three was killed and her body burned in Los Angeles, California. Weeks later, a young woman was killed in Mississippi and another was killed in Florida. Agents hunted down a charismatic man named Glen Rogers who used charm and generosity to target women for his brutal attacks. He would eventually become known as 'The Cross-Country Killer'.
The FBI Files is an American docudrama that takes a look behind the scenes of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's crime laboratory.
Real FBI cases are recounted through reenactments and interviews, due to the sensitive nature of the show, viewer discretion is advised.
These older documentaries are better than so many crime documentaries out there now. Good stuff. Learn so much.

I found out about Glenn bc I used to work at a pizza place in Kentucky in my late teens. My boss was Glenn’s brother Claude Rogers, who had told us all about his brother and the book that he had written about him (the other brother starred in a documentary about Glen-messed up how the family uses Glen’s infamy for money and clout) Gotta say, The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Claude was the most unhinged boss imaginable and worst I’ve ever had. He would be physically aggressive and verbally abusive when a mistake was made in the kitchen or by a server. One time he shoved me out of the way to make an order and I (having had this happen so many times) purposefully went flying and fell on the ground to make a scene in front of customers so that he wouldn’t do it again. 😅 I remember He used to say things to make the waitresses cry on at least a weekly basis. He was eventually fired for his verbal abuse, as literally every single employee banded together, each writing their own letter about their personal experiences with Claude’s abuse, and someone gathered them and turned them in all at once to corporate.
Reading this makes me think of a guy I knew who claimed to grow up w these guys...apple not falling far from the tree may be more spot on than u know, apparently Claude was right there w glenn on earlier crimes/ killings from the stories I heard...
This is just hearsay..
The commentator's speech is very clear & expressive, obviously making the these FBI series very interesting. Even the actors are all definitely good performers. This is something, I'll never get bored watching. I'm impressed.
Are you Indian?
When she met Mister Rogers, It was no longer a beautiful day in the neighborhood.
I find the FBI files fascinating and well worth watching as you see all the details and how evidence works!
i hope you are not contemplating murder?
I think it's more exciting than "Forensic Files." They lose my interest quickly. "FBI Files" is faster paced and not totally instructive.
What I've learned watching these files programs 9 or 10 people are convicted because either they tell somebody or an ex-girlfriend or ex-wife tell somebody very little is actual old-fashioned police work of tracking down a killer
This is the kind of programming that it's worth it staying up all night to binge on CZcams 😊😊😊
Go to sleep 😁
make sure your doors are locked
The 2nd victim, Linda met Glen a month before she was murdered. Not only that, soon after they met, they rented an apartment and moved in together. Not victim blaming but I feel like their relationship moved waaaay too fast.
Also, shout out to Glen's aunt. Without her, he would've killed a lot more innocent women.
"Fun" fact: Glen is still alive despite the death penalty. He was scheduled to be put to death on Valentine's Day 1999 but he appealed multiple times (all denied). He is still alive 11 years after his last appeal. He's 60 today.
The narrator's voice is so calm and relaxing....i love it
I believe the narrator is Anthony D. Call, who was a narrator for a lot of shows. One of his more famous acting roles was on the Star Trek episode "The Corbomite Maneuever"
It's widely believed this guy started killing way before his "first" murder in 1995. His own brother has gone on record stating Glen called him from California in 1994 claiming he had been partying with a rich woman named Nicole who was married to a football player and that he "was going to take her out". A few days after that was when Nicole Brown Simpson was murdered. Glen Rogers had a habit of calling his brother from time to time stating he "had met a woman he was going to take out". His brother never took it seriously until the FBI started looking for him in the mid 90's. He will probably never be executed because of his believed involvement in dozens of unsolved murders as investigators will try and link him to those cases. If all that is proven true, he may be the most brutal serial killer in U.S. history.
He was so fuck evil
Sloan Bella whether people like her or not, was channeling Nicole's energy and she said that there was another person that had a knife and was very strong. He was a stunt man in Hollywood and I believe oj asked him to get those earrings the diamond ones back for him.. I believe 100 percent that this was the killer of Nicole and Ron goldman
PS I heard he was indeed executed.
😂 OJ did it

I find it astounding that after the 3rd murder a detective said they quickly realised there was a 'possibility' Rogers was a serial killer. Really, 3 separate murders attributed to him but there was only a 'possibility' he was a serial killer'??
Three victims in three separate incidents is the definition of a serial killer.
And these weren’t the first. His first murder was in his home town according to his brother which is why he fled to California to begin with
I think he means serial killer in the worse sense. Not the kind that kills during robberies….the kind that needs to see the victim’s pupils dilate and listen to the agonizing breathing. That kind of serial killer. The kind that is fascinated with the process and results.

A camera and a roll of undeveloped film survived a truck cabin fire that was so intense that the body inside was unidentifiable? Amazing.
The fire was supposedly started in the front and that means she would have absorbed a large amount of the damage they got to it before it spread very far because the witness saw it the second it lit up. It’s unlikely but it’s not a long shot that something in the backseat survived too much damage.

Is that what you call your house “space station?”
There is absolutely zero reason why this man should still be alive. Especially in Florida. Put his ass in the chair and flip the switch. Tax-payer problem solved.
Nah , wast of electricity ...but a rope can be reused over and over again for serial killer , rapist , pedo , the Clintons or whatever .
Then the company that provides the jail service would loose money. Taxpayers make no contributions to political campaigns.
That's not the way it works. He has to go thru all his appeals. Then they will execute him. So? taxpayers keep paying until that time comes.
It's actually cheaper to keep someone in prison for the remainder of their life than it is to give them the death penalty. Therefore, if you are interested in an 'eye for an eye' this individual should get the chair, but if your main concern is cost to taxpayers, then one would favor life in prison with no possibility of parole.

The facts speaks for themselves. Males, especially many who hang out in bars are predators and use bars as a hunting grown because females have their guard down and are looking for a good time or are drunk so they are easy prey. I would have watched it but you just implied O.J Simpson is innocent N Glenn Rogers is actually the killer. No THANX
@@donnie4044 To be clear, I am NOT saying OJ is innocent. What the movie proposes, and what some dispute, is that OJ hired Glen Rogers to scare his wife, Nicole Brown Simpson. (OJ was then going to arrive to be the 'knight in shining armor' to protect her. There is ample evidence that OJ and Nicole knew Glen Rogers. Of course, OJ had no idea he was dealing with a serial killer. When Ronald Goldman interrupted the 'scare,' Rogers panicked and did what he did. OJ, as part of his plan, showed up immediately after but found and walked through the blood bath and possibly fought with (recall the deeply cut finger) with Glen Rogers. The conclusion I draw is that while OJ did not wield the knife to kill Nicole and Ron, he was complicit in and guilty of their deaths. I'd say watch the documentary. It's at least plausible. I think it's believable. There is definitely evidence that makes this supposition a pretty good case. 1) Rogers wrote letter to his sister saying he had met a famous black athlete, 2) there are photos of him with Nicole and one of her friends (who introduced Rogers to the Simpsons), 3) there was the white pickup parked outside of the Simpson home that witnessed attested to seeing but that was never followed up on by the police. At the time, Rogers worked for a landscaping company and drove one of their white pickups. And 4) Nicole Brown loved and collected things with dolphins on them. OJ had given her a dolphin pin. This was something Rogers supposedly stole in the act of killing her. Later, at one of his murder trials, Roger's mother was seen wearing the exact same pin. Look, I'm certainly not telling you what to believe, but I am saying that the evidence is at least interesting if not compelling. Also, that OJ is guilty of murder, sure enough.
Donnie,
You should watch it. It doesn’t exonerate OJ but rather has a theory that Rogers started the act and oj came halfway through. Much of the evidence points to more then one person at the murder scene
I've watched this program off and on for years and I find it very factual, and hopefully it will deter others thinking about commiting crimes and believing they're smarter, and can get away with it. The FACT is that there's no such thing as a 'perfect' crime. Even in my misspent youth, it was almost impossible to get away with anything. That's the 50's, and the 60's. With today's advances, DNA, etc, there's no chance of getting away completely, and entirely with any crime. THANK GOODNESS! Go straight or go straight to prison. 😁🖤
What do you say about innocent victims who get pinned by circumstancial evidence.
The FACTS, according to the fbi, is that 40% of murders in the states go *unsolved,* champ. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Telling everyone you Won $1200 isn't the Brightest thing to do...
Exactly!!!
I feel sorry for the victims ❤️
Finally somebody who thinks of the victims - such precious young women, sure maybe naive and imprudent but haven´t we not all been sometimes in some situation? They didn´t deserve to die! And so many of them had small children - what a horrible tragedy!
@@truthseeker6584 thank you

그 건방진 암살자가 그 소녀를 쓰러뜨렸어요. 그러는 동안 그는 웃으며 웃었다. 그는 그 소녀를 조롱했습니다.
I like how they keep some of the re-enactment actors in many of these episodes
For sure, they're a great group of actors.
So everyone just gonna ignore the fact that OJ really didn’t do it and they still attacking him for the deaths of Ron and Nicole 😢
I personally think there is a very good chance Glen Rogers may have been involved in Nicole's death
@@leogetz3570 OJ Simpson was almost definitely involved with Nicole's murder though.
I've been hooked in detective stories since the 70's, when mom brought home, the book called "The Detectives" some things never change.

😄 "Very aggravated to be in custody"
He was scary my hats off to law enforcement
this guy took responsibility for Nicole Simpson's murder theres another documentary called "my brother the serial killer" very good one
I saw that video also. Much better than this one. These leave out way too many details and are given the “official” story which is a one sided story. Anyway theirs a lot of things that lead to Glen Rogers committing the Simpson Goldman double murders. I can’t remember exactly but he did paintings before he got locked up and left clues of the murders he committed in ea painting. He did paintings in jail also but the ones before the arrest showed things in them that he was involved somehow. If it wasn’t this guy the other documentary about oj’s son Jason is pretty intriguing also lol.
Braveheart I never thought of that. Yea that was his trademark. Very good observation on that. Definitely something to think about
Thanks I'm watching that one next.
sounds like he wanted to be famous at any cost.
what a Waco
When I watch those kind of programs I am glad there is death penalty at least in some places for those demons!

This may seem little, but I like how they showed actual police footage, to the reenactment, and back to the police footage.
