Thanks for making the audio output jack hot enough to drive a pair of headphones. I suspect this wasn’t originally intended, going by some of the earlier descriptions. I can definitely hear where in the last 90% of travel, the output jack ramps up quickly. It’s a little saturated, but I don’t mind for headphones as if I need a clean signal for a mix, I’ll turn it back into the line out range. It’s just so slightly overdriven, which I’d rather have that and volume, than not enough volume at all. Anyways, thanks again and keep up the updates and surprises. Wonderful little keyboard for hashing out ideas or making random discoveries.
I will say this thing is a lot of fun. Fun is definitely the key word here. It’s simple, it’s basic but it’s easy to pick up and play and doodle something real quick. I hope we see some good patches come down the line (I love the drum engine, I believe it’s on the third key?). I know the Patchstorage site is already coming out with some good patches.
This is very toy like in the best way possible. I know that’s often used as a pejorative in the synth world but making music should be fun and this reminds me of messing around with my little Casio keyboard as a kid, though you can do much more with the sound engines with this one.
It’s not gonna be for everyone but I think you’ll know if it’s for you.

Is there a difference sonically between the organelle and the 201 pocket piano? Aren't they both running pure data? It seems like the 201 is focused on sound generation, where as the organelle can do all of that, with the addition of sound processing.

Tried reading the manual about the knobs CC values. Are they just CC 1-5 ?
The defaults are: Knob1 = CC 21; Knob2 = CC 22; Knob3 = CC 23; but you can change the CC values with the midi.txt file. The Tempo Knob is not assigned a CC so the 'Envelope' knob is Knob 1. More information here: www.critterandguitari.com/manual?m=201_Pocket_Piano_Manual#5-midi-connectivity
Great!…is that same way to acsess Organelle M?…to load patches directly in…not by WiFi or external usb?…I struggle loading patches…when i use extenal usb flash drive- some of them don’t work either or property…😢
Yes, the 201 has a 'Disk Mode' where it acts as a USB Drive so files can be managed directly on the instrument from the connected computer's file browser.

Thank you for your interest! The 201 is very similar in size when compared to the original Pocket Piano. It's a little shorter in length and in height. The width is almost identical. The 201 does have some of the same sounds and patterns as the original Pocket Piano. By splitting up the synth modes and patterns and making them independent of each other, the 201 has more patterns/mode combinations than the original. For example, many users like the 'Octave Cascade' mode on the original. On the 201, you can use the octave cascade pattern with any of the six modes!

This cost the same as my ELZ_1 and has way less features.
While it looks super dope,over $300 price tag is a bit much(in my opinion)
