  • You don't have to buy expensive and heavy plaster molds to replicate forms in clay. You can use things you have around the home. Foam bowls are great because they don't dry out your clay and they can be torn off if you are in a hurry. Build in them thinly to make yourself a set of bowls. Build in them a little thicker as a sturdy base for a tall coil pot. Make them smooth or patterned. Try this technique today!
