Hi, we are Lisa and Kevin and we are Suburban Artistry. We want to make art more accessible by providing the information, making it fun and understandable and above all affordable. One of us is a licensed art teacher and the other has no formal art training, so we have a range of perspectives. We love making almost anything but we have a special place in our hearts for keeping historical arts alive and well. We are cultivating an eclectic set of skills which we share with the world from photography to pottery to weaving and so much more! Our feeling is that there are art forms which are rare or arcane and deserve to be revitalized as well as others which are just plain fun. So, join us on our journey of seeking the answer to the questions "what is art?", "how do I get started?", "how did artists make art in the past?", and "how do I explore my artistic voice?"
