- This is the complete recording of the filming of James Bond's car chase with his Aston Martin DB5 in Sassi di Matera on September 15, 2019 for "No Time to Die".
The chase started at Piazza San Pietro Caveoso, then the vehicles drove north on Via Madonna delle Virtù.

What seems like a casual ride will probably be a high speed drifting chase that will take approximately 3-4min in the movie
You can tell by the camera and light mounts along with the real driver on the roof. What they are filming is interior reaction / dialogue scenes from the actors. So the speed doesn't matter much.

They drive a lot slower than the average Italian...
It's nice to watch the final movie but here you can see how damn much work it is to produce it.
Two IMAX cameras on DB5! One minute of shooting costs $500, and this is only the cost of the film in one camera, so total $1000 per minute.
And even that's pennies compared to the crew, location, cast and rigging!

It was brilliant watching at the cinema in 4DX
I have been in a much simpler version of that rig, where the actors actually drove, with lights and cameras hanging out the sides, on narrow, live public roads. That was the old days! Oh and it was getting dark/rush hour btw. It was a worry.
Still, the level of skill here is on another planet. To drive anything that wide repeatedly through those narrow streets takes more than ability. It has to be racing-driver-like focus I think, plus there are many technicalities to work to.
Now we have to wait untile November .

Why's the current Bond driving a vintage Aston Martin? Is it supposed to be his personal ride or gov. issue?

They do make him use setups like that. Insurance doesn’t allow even actors known for doing their own stunts to do their own stunts.
Tom Cruise uses this same setup...he doesn't drive around curvy streets while saying lines.

Don't like the behind the scenes stuff. Like the mystery
Sometimes these scenes were shot in the studio as complementary and the main ones held the film...
Now they are shooting realistically to hold the film and the rest of what should be the main thing is artificial and predictable. I don't like this latest film and a couple of previous ones...Conceptually, the last few films are in the wrong direction.It went towards some personalism of the character to present that great torment is upon him and the organisation, contrary to the idea, we have, we can...I think it’s time for some new character like Jason Statham to come back to old things...

A great scene, totally wasted on a wrong and most weird movie.
I am a bond fan since a kid.this movie is nothing like the bond saga.it's slow drags right till end.in my opinion it's a flop.Bond should rest the maker's have lost.the plotnif the original bond themes.I thought On her majesty secret service was bad but after watching the Daniel a bonds I really miss the old 60 70 80 90 till Pierce Brosnan were memorable.R I P BOND.My days are over waiting for that magic in them.
