- To celebrate 60 years of James Bond music and its integral contribution to the story of 007, we joined forces with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra to present a live performance of the James Bond Theme from the iconic Studio One at Abbey Road Studios.
Recorded at The Sound of 007 at Abbey Road Studios event, you can now experience the thrill of a world-class orchestra performing one of the most iconic film themes of all time.
Our relationship with the James Bond film franchise is intertwined with its 40-year relationship with Abbey Road Studios, where our flagship 800 Series Diamond loudspeakers have been used to monitor the recording of countless film scores, including Skyfall (2012) and Spectre (2015).
Experience the True Sound of the performance with our new Px8 007 Edition headphones, specially created to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the James Bond film franchise: www.bowerswilkins.com/en-gb/p...

Bond.....James..Bond.
How can someone dislike some art like this. Pure art. It's like an orgasm to my ears
One of the most recognisable pieces of ALL time
i do not believe there is anything any more iconic, or British, than the Royal Philharmonic performing a piece from 007.
wonderfully done. ❤
quite correct, old boy
Nothing more British than this.
Wouldnt expect anything less from Abbey Road and the Royal Phillharmonic, two great names getting together to produce something so quintessentially British
Classiest song ever made
Listening this on B&W Px8 007 edition headphones. Sounds and feels so good.
I think this is the best rendition I have come across.
This is great on so many different levels.
I love this version! It has the 'big, fat' sound that other takes on the theme lack .... There are many occasions where certain orchestrations from certain scenes in certain movies are to be found here (at least I think) .... For example at 1:08 I swear I can here the Michael Kamen take that appeared in 'Licence to Kill' when Bond hauls in Sanchez's plane and later when he drives the Truck cabin through the flames in the final chase .... And at 1:52 I can detect the version that was used in the Gunbarrel openings of the later Roger Moore films and Timothy Dalton duo with the travelling underscore (if that's the right word) -Much appreciated!
Un sonido elegante, sofisticado, limpio y clásico de James Bond.
Sin dudas una gran versión.
Tiene toques que me recuerdan al gran Roger Moore.

Simplesmente espetacular.
I love that a portion is without the guitar. Sounds just like in the Moore films.

Nice job! Thanks for sharing 😊
👏🎬
what's the reason for some of the empty chairs? were a few of the musicians meet an unfortunate end due to some rogue agents (or were they just in studio 2, looking for some be-attle plectrums)???

I really wish that whoever edited the video would ensure that the audio matched the video. not hard!!!!!
It is if they didn’t have a time code and just chucked random footage together. Probably poorly planned shoot. Without time code you’d have to manually scrub each clip frame by frame to match each shot.
I would have hoped that the mixing engineer would have done better. The musicians were outstanding.
Great recording, but why is the film edited and not showing the actual performance ie trumpets shown playing, when they are not in the recording, trumpets playing melody sustained notes, but still loving their values? Spoils the performance
James bond is from 1963 thas varey long
I know it’s just the nature of the business, but it’s always disheartening to see footage like this where the audio and video does not match up (unless it’s something obvious to most viewers, like lead guitar or drum set - then they’re synced).
1:50 to 2:20
