I grew up watching all the James Bond movies because my Dad replayed all of them . So much of my youth is tied to this music and a great remembrance of my Dad.
Yes me too ❤️ during that time the bonds movie was showing every year around summer time my dad would take the whole family to see it we would arrive early to buy tickets before it sold out once he gets the ticket we can walk around the area to window shop when show time is coming My dad will buy the whole family a whole chicken leg for each of us to eat in the theater once we find our seats we would sat down eating the leg and waited for the opening scene it's usually start with some action than it goes into that famous open sequence with the main song playing like gold finger during action parts of movie The main theme will Play in the background 🤠 while I am trying to finish the whole chicken leg 🤣😜 and it was a good time and great childhood memories for me and finally I got older went to my teenager year I still go see the movie when it's showing during summer month 🎒😆😂 as I watched the movie I suddenly understand why it's so popular with male adults those Bond's girls are great to look at it 🤠😆😱🤫🤔👍🤪😆 but now I have a family of my own the bond's movie is no longer once a year even now, now it's all MCU every year so I would take my family and kids to see them brought the tickets goes in near the show time and brought the biggest popcorn and drink theater sold go to the show room find a good seat position and enjoy the movie as we share the popcorn and drink amount Us has 😂👍👏👌😻

What an absolutely amazing genius of a composer John Barry was. Just spectacular. What incredible musical skills these musicians have. I credit these musicians with being ingenious at understanding both mathematical precision, and creativity. It would have been really lovely to have seen the harpist at time 5:10 onward; after all, we could hear the beauty of the harp alongside the strings.
Thanks greatly for bringing us the 1950's generation back again to the golden good-old days when the film series along with the theme songs of James Bond were our only powerful devotion to the entertainment of movie arts in body and soul!

Stephen Bell, look out for the Halle Orchestra from Manchester - he brings the orchestra regularly to Nottingham Concert Hall and around the UK with movie themed nights - his James Bond evening was brilliant. He is VERY animated and makes the night even more enjoyable.

The Bond movies, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, Superman, many great westerns, war movies, and on and on. Now it seems few movies have such great themes. Why? I must have been 10, maybe 11yrs old when FRWL came out. My father took me to see it on 42st. in the city. I was hooked! I thought; I'm going to be a secret agent like Bond, drive a sports car with machine guns, have a license to kill, and have super hot women throwing themselves at me. Not one of those things EVER happened! But I have the memories of what was always a thrilling journey of taking the train from Queens to 42st in NYC to watch 1st run movies with my Dad and going to Tads Steaks afterwards. RIP Dad.💕😊
It's Monday, October 8th, 1962 - I'm an American and I'm living and working in Edinburgh, Scotland. I've been fortunate - I've obtained two highly sought after movie tickets to the premier Scottish showing of 'Dr. No' at the Regal theater. The Regal is just a short distance from Toll Cross section of Edinburgh where 007 - Sean Connery - lived, worked, and grew up. What a privilege to be attending this premier. So I and my gorgeous Scottish girl friend will have dinner at the North British Hotel and we'll be attending what will become the first movie of what will become the greatest motion picture franchise of the Western world. Congrats Cubby Broccoli - you really accomplished something very special. BTW - the movie was great - as all Bond fans know.

I must have been 10, maybe 11yrs old when FRWL came out. My father took me to see it on 42st. in the city. I was hooked! I thought; I'm going to be a secret agent like Bond, drive a sports car with machine guns, have a license to kill, and have super hot women throwing themselves at me.
Not one of those things EVER happened! But I have the memories of what was always a thrilling journey of taking the train from Queens to 42st in NYC to watch 1st run movies with my Dad and going to Tads Steaks afterwards. RIP Dad.💕😊

It's Monday, October 8th, 1962 - I'm an American and I'm living and working in Edinburgh, Scotland. I've been fortunate - I've obtained two highly sought after movie tickets to the premier Scottish showing of 'Dr. No' at the Regal theater. The Regal is just a short distance from Toll Cross section of Edinburgh where 007 - Sean Connery - lived, worked, and grew up. What a privilege to be attending this premier. So I and my gorgeous Scottish girl friend will have dinner at the North British Hotel and we'll be attending what will become the first movie of what will become the greatest motion picture franchise of the Western world. Congrats Cubby Broccoli - you really accomplished something very special. BTW - the movie was great - as all Bond fans know.
