Thanks for watching... we are 150 miles apart in lockdown so we record our reactions remotely so maybe not a slick as others!... All our reactions are genuine unlike most other channels, you wont find those cheesy fake shocked thumbnail faces either!.. We are a couple of Brits reacting to music and your requests. Thanks for watching :)
this era all races were 1 and together... it was soo beautiful
This is a f*ckn amazing classic of electro-hip hop music 😎🎧 , It's a shame it's not well known.
This was the birth of electro funk and break dancing and B-Boys
@MARTIN GALICIA
They were way ahead of their time and had kick-ass costumes too.
And freestyle, and hip-hop
I was 12yrs old Living in East Los Angeles pop locking & break dancing to this jam.
That’s where it all began right there. The hip hop you know today exists because of this.
Freestyle - Don't Stop The Rock MUST be next!!!!!!!!!!
i love when they say i have no idea what this is ...then the beat drops
Another response from the future and America. I was on a US Army base in Germany and in 82, 14 year old me had really become a fan of heavy metal, especially Maiden and Priest.
My love affair with electronic music was growing during that time. I didn't like rap, but grew to appreciate it over time. 54 year old me loves this song.
It's on my playlist 😊
Anything by Arthur Baker is worth hearing.
We used to bump this on repeat at the park playing basketball 🏀.
They also use part of The Mexican by Babe Ruth, which was a big b-boy song.
Thats HIPHOP my brothas.. much love
The synth sample is from the Godfathers of modern dance music, techno, Kraftwerk !
@Otto Hernandez
Thank you for the information and for watching.
Definitely.
80s rap is not to be slept on I should no I lived through it rip to old rapper's who have pass recently 💔
@Erick H
Hello and thank you for the comment.
I was there too and enjoyed them all.
Thanks for watching.

Every 80's House or Park Party in the Hood NY style. Hell, even Mike Tyson showed up to them lol.
that's a 10
Nice channel. This was the jam back in the day. 🔥😎👍Great reaction. Love the break dancing. Please react to Can You Rock it like This by RUN DMC and Clear by Cybotron. More classics to jam to. Thanks.
Hi Happy Joy, (ooops 😎 )
Thanks for your positive comment and for checking out our reactions.
We have already done a reaction to Rappers Delight: czcams.com/video/r0PK5UqM8T0/video.html
I grew up with Hip Hop so its a bit tricky to find classic tracks that I have not heard, but I do try and find tracks that my friend has not heard, so this may be one we can react to or other Run DMC.
Please consider subscribing if you haven't already and keep the suggestions coming, we will give you a shout out if we do the reaction.

@@BritPopsReact Awesome 😎 👍🎵🔥I just saw that. I’ll check it out. Thanks. Juan Atkins started Detroit techno. I highly recommend Clear-Cybotron or Cosmic Cars. He was influenced by Kraftwerk. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for the great info, we will sure look into those suggestions as we have not heard those.
Bambaataa has credited Gary Numan as an influence as well
@Quintin Johnson
That's a great fun fact and you can hear the influence, Gary Newman & Cars, "Our friends electric" great song that was.
Thanks for watching.
@@BritPopsReact You should react or check out this collab between the two. It is a remake of Numan's song Metal!! It will blow your mind. It features both artists!!

15 when I heard this
@queenirmamay
It's nice to go down memory lane and revisit songs from way back.
This is a great tune to do that to, they certainly changed things up.
Pet Shop Boys - fuck me man. SMH
@Pete Collins
OK, no problem it was only our thought.
Thanks for checking it out anyway.
