Imagine being an artist that was able to make even a SINGLE song that the entire crowd just shouts along with you at the top of their lungs and just peaks the energy in the room? Modern Baseball did that more than a dozen times over. I can't imagine how it must have felt to perform their first live show where they finally realized that they made it.
They said they might come back though didn't they? They just said they didn't know for sure. I remember reading something about them not wanting them to call it a break up, because if they do decide to tour, or release more shit they didn't want it to be super dramatic.
IAmABrokenGod bren sold his guitar stuff and really just gave up on being a musician, jake talked about moving on from modern baseball with SB,D and sean is married plus has his band steady hands. ian is riding the bassist wave with playing on multiple albums. they’re pretty much done for :(
Words cannot describe how much this band means to me. This video sums it up pretty well. We miss you, Modern Baseball. And when you're ready, we will be right here waiting for you to tour again. You've changed so many lives, thank you. Whatever, forever!
Brendan's very into making sure everyone at their shows are safe, I imagine he just didn't want anyone to get hurt. I was in the front a little to the side where he jumped and I remember being like "oh shit."
Goes to show you could have the world in the palm of your hands and things still won't work out like you'd expect them to. Modern baseball were probably at the height of emo scene and could've gone to do pop level numbers. Yet they hung it up. Its crazy. I'm glad they gave us so 3,4 incredible albums.

The crowd's fucking killing it.
So funny when Sean messes up with Jake's pedalboard during the solo and Jake turns around to find out what's going on ahah
saw that too he clicks on his tuner so it bypasses and sends nothing to amp. made me laugh
I miss them. Worst day ever when they announced it was over
