#fujifilm #xt5 #shorts - Jak na to + styl
Don’t forget about the aesthetics of the camera, it’s a timeless piece.
Exactly. The look is amazing and it’s classic.
Before the rubber sluggish and loosen it up
I don't like classic i like ergonomics, like sony a7s iii
Can't agree more
@@dodatkidominecrafta4762 I had the a7s iii and I've been lying to myself that a7s iii is just as good and 12mp is more than enough. Now that I sold mine for the XT-5, I have no regrets. The images are just so much better and less digital looking.
Every camera could look like that and I wouldn’t be sad about it. That design is near perfect!
Agreed. I LOVE the way the X-T series looks.
Sort of based on design from way back when.........
@@johnnyfrisco5354 That's why they look so good!
I really love this look myself.
@@johnnyfrisco5354It’s one of those “if it ain’t broken, don’t fix it” moments
meanwhile, me still rocking the X-T2
"oh yeah I mean I guess it's nice"
I'm still rocking my X-T1💀
@@spaghetty_I'm still rocking X 💀
@@spaghetty_ Me too. Maybe one day...
I wish to have 1 of those😢
Xt2 is amazing. You know
Agree!!! Awaiting shipment mine. I preordered it shortly after announcement. Can’t wait! I love my XT3, and it’ll be the perfect backup to my new XT5. And the new lenses are so good. Got the new 33 & 56, and saving for the 18. These new lenses are fast and wicked sharp. Fuji is crushing it!
"Wicked" sharp? Are you from new england? Lol
I just picked one up recently and shot a wedding with it. I absolutely love this camera so far. Especially compared to my X-E3
I still rock the XT3, I don’t plan on replacing it anytime soon.
Ditto 🙏📷
Same
I’ll go for the XT6 when it comes.
Ditto
You inspired me to shoot a wedding with an xt4! I love Fujis approach to APSC. Great cameras.
That's awesome to hear. I hope your wedding goes well.
I've got an X-T4. it seems every two generations is when it becomes worth the upgrade, generally
You've got a great narrating style, stay on CZcams!
Your photos and ruji recipes are also very nice
I currently use my x-t30ii, which is my first camera, and I’ve been loving it! If I ever upgrade bodies, it’ll probably be whatever x-t model they come out with on the coming years
Which one better Fuji X-T30ii or Nikon ZFC? I’m thinking to get one
@@H.iMAtelier I really like my fuji and did consider both of those when I was looking for a camera. The Nikon has a great sensor, but for me the amazing standard lens, wider selection of lenses and how well built it feels compelled me to get mine. Honestly, I would recommend you go to a camera/electronics store and just handle both, if possible.
Can’t wait to get mine AND to see your coverage!
I'm so happy with it. Got a bunch of shooting I'll be doing with it this week!
it looks sooo good
It’s such a great camera. I’ve been doing a handful of weddings with it recently and it’s been a great experience.
@@jbivphotography definitely! What lens did you use? :)
I love mine. It’s a fantastic camera!
It's such an amazing camera!
I have an x-t30II and I love it!
Such an amazing camera!!
XT30II gang over here! lol I’m about to pick up the XC 50-230mm zoom lens as well
I LOVE my xt5. I hardly touch my xt3 now but I still love it! Lol
Same! I do still hold a special place in my heart for the X-T3 however.
Finally it’s the way I’d like it after hav in g every model except the xt4. I think this is probably the best model .
I totally agree. I sold my X-T4 so quickly!
Debating big time if I should trade in my XT3. I didn’t want the XT4 because I didn’t see much of a difference yet, but now seeing the XT5, what a huge deal now! 🤯
I found the XT4 to be a big difference with the stabilization and the battery. Not as much of a fan of the screen. More megapixels could be nice but I'm not ready for another camera yet.
@@paulvotaw3886 Wow! A year later has gone by already. I have the XT5 now. The IBIS is really good on it honestly. I’ve shot some music videos without having to rig it and it’s worked flawlessly 👌
I so can’t wait for mine to arrive! Missing the review unit I had now heheh
You forgot to mention IBIS! For me, a main selling point. Great camera.
I’m always half and half on IBIS mainly because I shoot styles that mainly involve people. IBIS helps with getting lower shutter speeds handheld, but if people are involved that kinda doesn’t matter. So it’s helpful but for a wedding photographer it’s kind of few and far between.
@@jbivphotography interesting. Generally I don’t disagree, but for people and events, I find that IBIS still helps a ton eliminating MY instability. Very useful to me, especially since the X-T5 still isn’t all that great at high ISO, so I try to keep my shutter speeds as low as the scene will allow.
I've had & loved the x-t2, x-t3 & x-t4, and now have the x-t5.
I don't understand why people, mostly those who've never used one, disregard the x-t4 as a perfectly logical upgrade in the x-t line:
As far as I'm concerned it worked/works better than any of its forebears, with the only exception being that horrible flippy screen.
I haven't sold my x-t4, as I wanted to be sure there's no downside to the increased resolution, but have only used it once, for a 60 second video, since buying the x-t5:
I'm just grateful that Fuji retained the Still/Video switch, retaining all the settings for each which enables instant change-over.
Paired with a new prime like 23mm 1.4 or 33mm 1.4 this sensor delivers amazing sharpness and resolution
YES! Exactly.
I shoot Sony and really like it, but man the style of the FujiFilm bodies is so good. Classic and modern simultaneously.
What model
Does the skin smoothing effect the video? When you turn it on for stills in the menu under dynamic range?
It's the best upgrade from XT3 ! For XT4 owner, that's debatable...
I’d agree. The X-T4 sits in a special place and the X-T5 is pretty close to it. But from the 3 it’s a great upgrade.
X-Pro4 is going to be so amazing when it comes out. They can't F it up twice.
I'd laugh in all your faces if they continue to not give it a rear facing lcd. I absolutely love my xpro3
Just curious what didn’t you like about the xpro3?
@@davidcastellanos2492 the xpro3 was a bit gimmicky with screen and titanium body. I love the rear screen, but it was poorly implemented with the ribbon cable issues
Would love to hear some more reasons as to why this camera is your preferred one! I didn’t really get anything from this short that would suggest it’s worth upgrading my X-T3, other than better grip and some more MPs.
I still hold on to a Minolta x370. It still looks stylish to this day. I seen mods converting them to make digital files.
Released in 2022, and it's still backordered in 2024
WOW. I’m glad I preordered mine the moment they were announced. I had no idea they were still backordered.
I am thinking of switching back to Fuji after several years with Oly. Please advise.
Can you still double click the joystick to reset the focus area? Thanks in advance.
You finally got your hands on it! Lol
Bout to start doing SO MANY VIDEOS on it.
They heavily advertised 4K, 60 cinematic movie recording When They released the Xt4 & It. I’m looking for an interchangeable lens mount camera with solid color science similar to the Fuji XT5’s and was just wondering if anybody noticed that it has some form of active cooling fan or what when recording 4K 60 or other resolutions and frame rates?
I’ve read alot about the xt4 & this overheating in just 30 seconds or more where many have complained about it overheating anywhere from 4 minutes or less.
The only thing that makes me reluctant to purchase a Fuji is the fact that a true hybrid camera with solid Professional cinematic video for client & corporate Work should have unlimited recording in all Of it’s resolutions & accompanying frame rates in order to be considered reliable.
35mm f2 lens is it?
Nice
I miss my xt30 so much
X-T30 is such an amazing camera
Bro I do video more than stills and I'm choosing xh2 over xt5 but I'm not getting that silver color that looks Soo goood like a Leica
color
I have the xt5 but I find I have to change the battery daily. Is it because it is a mirror less camera? My Nikon batteries last for days even weeks.
You forgot to mention the 7 stop IBIS !!
how about xt10?
Agreed, but the tilt screen is also super impractical for portrait photographer 😅
Really? I absolutely love it.
@@jbivphotography Try taking a portrait on a low angle then.
help me choose ..........going buying this as my first camera .cant decide black or silver . silver stands out looks reto .but the all black looks stealth .
OOOOOOO it’s such a hard choice. I really love the silver but I personally went with Black myself. however if you really want a retro look that silver is hands down the way to go.
whats the equivalent xt5 to sony?
Just got my shipping notification. Funny, my X-T3 and X-T5 combo are the opposite colors as yours!
YEEEEESSS!!! That's awesome! I'm hoping I get a shipping confirmation soon as well!
Silly question, can you shoot video with film simulation. I’m fairly new to the Fuji system and I’m gonna upgrade to this camera. I’ve been a Nikon shooter all my life and I love Nikon cameras. Don’t get me wrong but I’m enjoying the fridge from the system as well
Yes, you can shoot videos with the film simulations, even the custom ones you've created
Are you keeping both your X-H cameras or will one have to be sacrificed?
I’m personally looking to purchase the X-H2S for hybrid photo/video weddings, but this X-T5 looks a beauty.
I own the X-H2s and after years of working with the X-H1 it's such a huge upgrade. Autofocus is solid now, and video quality is amazin!
I have both the X-T4 and an X-Pro2. Currently torn between whether I should upgrade from the X-Pro to an X-T4 or X-T5. Do you find the AF much better than the X-T3s?
I've had limited use, but so far yes. The autofocus is closer to the X-H2/s which is awesome.
Watching in 2024, and one can argue it's the best camera even 2 years later.
It's such an awesome camera. I love using mine still.
What do you think of the image quality I. Comparison to the xt3? Got rid of the xt3 because I had various results. I print a lot and sometimes there was really something off.
It’s really good. You can totally tell the resolution difference. However, I haven’t printed any photos with it yet so I can’t speak to that.
Hi from Greece my friend.. i am thinking about buying xt5 and 16 55 fuji for first lens.. baptisms weddings portraits street.. do you recommend this combination?? Thank you in advance
yess
Any recommendations for lenses aside from the kit 18-55?
sigma 18-50 is way better. check viltrox, tamron and sigma lenses and you will get the most bang for ur buck
Xt4
Great video man subbed to the channel
Which one do you think is better a7c or xt5?
Welcome to the channel! I'm pretty biased towards Fujifilm so that's going to be my answer. 😂 I've also never shot any Sony cameras so I'm not sure how they compare.
xt-5 by miles its even better than a74
@@neethuandthomasphotography thanks. even in low light and autofocus? also what is your suggestion for an all around lens? thank you
If they had only upgraded the processor to go with the larger sensor.
It’s now 2024. Is this still one of your faves or do you have a newer recommendation?
Yep it’s still the one I’m mainly using.
damn am I the only one who likes the articulating screen? Means I'm not getting any sweat or other gunk on it when shooting with the EVF since I can flip it closed.
Is this camera great for taking cinematic videos? I want a camera that takes great pictures which ik this camera does but don’t know much about its video capabilities. I’m deciding whether to get this camera, or the Sony A7 IV?
Cinematic video is more so due to how you record it, what lenses you use, and your settings rather than the camera. Knowing how to get a cinematic look comes first. The camera second. I’m sure you could get a great look out of if if you wanted.
For 2022!?!
Is the photo have more pop out or more deep of field like nikon/sony fulframe?
Depends on what lenses you're using.
Is the 'tilt screen' that much better than 'the flip'... I will use the eos R as an example here and say I found nothing wrong using the flip screen shooting wedding photos especially since I can turn it at absolute extreme and sometimes insane angles to get shots that I couldn't with a tilt screen..
It’s just faster. It also keeps your view in line with your camera. I prefer it much more than flip screens
@@jbivphotography I'll have to try it. And I love your work man.
Does the camera support cfexpress type b cards?
It does not. Only SD card. But UHSII which is really fast.
Curious, what's average compressed RAW file size? Thinking how much I need to extend my storage 🙂
Looks like they’re about 41mb
@@jbivphotography Thanks so much for checking. Thats very acceptable then, was worried they will be over 60 or so.
For still photos, would you say the XT-5 is better than the XH2s? I've heard the AF on the XH2s is incredible due to the stacked sensor
How hard can it be to focus a still photo? You dont need stacked sensor for that.
If you're not doing sports, it's overkill. I work professionally with the X-H2s and I love it but I wouldn't buy it if I was a hobbyist. It's just a little too much camera and too much money.
Is XT5 good for 4k and fhd videos?
@@Tbonyandsteak fair comment, I just meant more so in an environment where there's a lot of movement occurring
Is it worth buying cause I want to buy a camera recommend it
It depends on what you're going to be shooting. But currently I'm a big fan of it. I'll be shooting with it more this week so I'll have more recommendations at that point.

136lkw
4.3kl

I have a Xt3, I use a lot the metering mode selector How do you change metering mode with your XT5 ?
You can do it in the menus or you can set it to one of your function buttons. So like the d-pad on the back you could set it to that.
@@jbivphotography Thx for the Reply I Thnik I will get the XT5
I have a problem. Is really slow and I get a "storing" message after i take a picture is super slow and I have to wait long for previewing or take thé next. Please help
It's probably the SD cards you're using. You have to make sure you're using good quality SD cards that have fairly fast read/write speeds. The ones I use are UHS I and 170mb/s speeds.
Wait. They didn’t do the full articulating screen like the Xt4?
They didn't. And I'm SOOOO happy about it.
What's different between xt5 and xh2 and which is best ???
The differences are minimal, however I don’t really believe there’s a “best” between the 2. It really just comes down to what your needs are as a photographer.
Are you hobbyist? I want to buy it but I'm just a casual shooter like Street photography. But I love the design.
I'm not. I'm a professional wedding photographer. Honestly if you like a lot about the X-T5 you might want to look into either the X-T3 or older models. Or ever the X-T30.
@@jbivphotography so you think this will be an overkill for hobbyist?
@@nivin3 probably. Unless you have the funds and budget for it I would grab one of the older models that will now be discounted.
@@nivin3 I was a hobbyist. Actually still am, but when I bought an xt3 back when it came out I grew in to it. Years later I was doing small paid gigs and literally getting closer to being a pro. I don't regret buying it at all cause like everyone who owns one swears, it's truly a gem of a camera. I miss mine. I sold it due to tough times but in hindsight, I should've totally sold my body on craigslist instead. Jkjk. Do it!!
I am thinking of switching from Canon to Fuji and I am sooo nervous about it. How is the Eye Auto focus on this one? I am weddingphotographer and I really need this to work well 😂
Love my XT5. Hate that everyone is making cameras with the swing out screens for video instead of a tilting one for photos.
it better be nice for 2k.
I'm still stuck using xt30 hehe
I love my X-T30 so much. It's my day to day camera when I'm not doing photo work.
@@jbivphotography I have a question about using film simulation. How come I cant edit my WB to all of my film simulation.
Don't forget it's an apsc
Can you tell me why should I buy this and not full frame camera in same price?
Because full frame doesn’t matter…. But in all honesty it’s really up to you the photographer. For me Fujifilm has always made me love taking photos in a way the no other camera could. Also there are benefits to shooting crop as well. I don’t feel like I’m missing anything not being full frame so I’m super happy with my choice.
Which full frame camera can you get for £1700 retail?
@@jbivphotography full frame doesn't matter? What you mean exactly.
I love your channel and thanks for this tutorials but sometimes I don't understand why has Fuji some advantages over other cameras
@@giogoradze478 Fuji color science, fuji SOOC is good,
There's absolutely no reason to buy a crop sensor camera, other than price. If you've got the budget for full frame, get full frame. It's better in absolutely every way.
I'm stuck between the xt5 and a7rv... currently with my xt4
Hard choice!
That’s pretty apple to orange-ish.
Haven’t considered the xh2 or xh2s? Xh2s will provide you what the a7iv does and more. XH2 for the 40mp.
Of course you won’t have the FF advantage of shallower depth of field potential and lowlight noise performance, but there are other advantages fuji has that sony is still far behind on and you’ll at least still be on the same system and able to use all your same gear.
@@jbivphotography indeed
@@Eyeofkamau i considered the xh2, but is quite buldgy and heavy for my likings. the video capabilities isn't quite what I need (for now) which is why I rather the xt5 over the xh2
@@tylerdurden9364 got ya
Meanwhile, i"m still enjoying my xt10 hehe😅
If Fuji went full frame they’d bring some heavy competition.
Not the best. , After the gimble mount you cant remove the battery .
real camera has leaf shutter.
this?
thought so.
kind of a miss, honest. xt4> xt5

Go marry it.
I think I will ❤️
@@jbivphotography good I hope it brings you happiness.
Built-in flash would be nice.
Not really

A7rv screen articulation is much better. Best not only for still but also for video.
I wish the build quality was better. Plastic on this camera feels super cheap. I guess it saves on weight
How’s the IBIS?
Pretty good. I think the lowest I shot a handheld shot was at 1/40 and it looked great.
Bad screen for portrait photos.
the screen sucks you cant flip it around like some sony models.
I disagree with the grip and the battery … my sony a7iv has much deeper grip and battery last double to my fuji xt5
It feels cheap compared to xt2
Interesting. I haven’t used the X-T2 in awhile so I don’t know the comparison.
@@jbivphotographyI had my XT-2 for 6 years now and the XT-5 for 6 months. The XT-5 paint already has dull spots and it feels much lighter and plasticy compared to the graphite silver edition XT-2. Thank God they fixed the autofocus with the last 2 updates. I never was one of those made in China vs made in Japan guys, but believe is a big difference in quality @
most of this is because it's the same as what you already own
Meh
👍
X-T5 is the poor man’s X-H2
Oh god, Fuji is so much behind Sony. Users are happy about a freaking tilt screen.
