- This has to be the best Fujifilm X-T5 point and shoot setup I've ever seen. The X-T5 paired with the 27mm pancake and the EX-F8. What a small power house!!

I’m on a similar set up, just with the xe3. Sold my x100v, got the xe3 and kept the remaining cash 💰
Nice!
That's what I'm using as well, amazing camera. Got it with the 18-55 but the 27mm feels right at home on it. It goes with me everywhere
Im trying to sell my x100v aswell. Any tips?
@@UnholyTingzstill selling your x100v?
@@Brockcaptures sold it already
My set up is the Olympus OM-D EM10 Mark III with a 17mm(34mm full frame equivalent) f2.8. Never disappoint.
I still have that flash when it came with my XT2 ❤
Nice! It's such an awesome little flash. I wish Fujifilm sold it on it's own.
Try this with the xe4 and the voightlander 27mm with manual focus!
Let’s talk about that wrist strap J!!
John that’s clean
Can we see some photos? Love the setup!
Where the wrist strap from 🔥
I did this with my xt4 except my flash broke lol gotta find a used one somewhere such a good set up
is there a flash photo ? before & after

Can I use the camera without a lense?
would that flash work for other cameras??
What does point and shoot mean?
The grip ? Link please.
same setup with my X-T2!!
X-T2 was my first Fujifilm camera. I have a soft spot in my heart for it. Such an amazing camera.
Same for me with the xt2. What are your thoughts with this flash for shooting an event indoors?
What's the name of the flash please?
Nice
What’s the name of the strap?
I need to see the shots! Is there a longer video coming about this setup?
possibly! I'm a big fan of this setup it's great stuff!
@@jbivphotography I have that little flash but I've never used it, I suppose this could be rad for some fill
Exactely what I did today in Brittany (Bretagne), in holydays. And this 27mm is on the Fujifilm's listing with all lenses which use all the capacity of the XT-5 captor. :) NB: The Fujinon 18mm F/2 is also a perfect pancake for street pics. :)
Yep. I'm thinking about picking up the 18mm actually. I think it would be great in a family setting.
Could you make a review for this set up pleaseeee!!!
A lot of people asked for that. I'll have to take it out for a photoshoot.
I wanna pair this lens with my Fujifilm XT-30II :) I wanna have a light camera setup
YES! That's actually the main way I use this lens. I have an X-T30 and it's PERFECT for it.
@@jbivphotography Till to this day I do not have the 27mm yet, but the XC 35 mm. Its a very cheap lens but the 27 is still on my list. It makes the whole setup look so sexy :D
Same, except I went with the TTArtisan 27mm. My first time playing with primes, so I didn’t want to invest too much.
Not sure if I’m sold on getting more primes, but I appreciate its character to my other Fuji glass.
Its a good lens! The price was too hard to beat and the firmware update was a breeze. Its currently on my xpro-2 and im loving it so far
❤❤❤❤❤❤
👏👏👏
Do you use the 27mm for wedding shoots?
Nah, the lens isn't that good for af-c. I have one. It's good for p&s like x100. This and 18f2 is good for discreet purpose
Does the flash work with electronic shutter with XT5?
You know I’ve never tried it. Let me do that real quick…….. no it doesn’t. Looks like it only works with the mechanical shutter.
@@jbivphotography Fujifilm XT3 me a hard time when I was capturing behind the scene on a film set. All of sudden producer came and asked for a group shot with the cast in a dark place. The camera was in electronic shutter mode and I kept checking why the flash is not working 🤔.
What wrist strap do you use here.?
That’s a wrist strap from Holdfast Gear
@@jbivphotography Thanks..🙏🏻
Just curious would you go with the xt5 or xe4 for your only camera/ companion camera.?
Deff the X-T5. I’m super biased towards the X-T series.
By the way came back to update, I bought the XT5 with the 35 f 2 and this 27 f2.8 pancake. I'm loving it so far. I'll probably save up for a good portrate lens or one of the new lenses. @@jbivphotography
What wrist strap is that ?
It's a Holdfast Gear wrist strap.
Add. Get E4 insteAD
Ok, nice but.
Under the sun in a normal sunday day, you need to go to f16 to stay equal or below 250/s which is rhe sincro flash of the camera. And your lens is also a 42 ewuivalent, which mean you have to stay at least 2/2,5 meters (if you don't want close up of some body part). And all this means: you need power, 40 to 50/55 gn.
Otherwise your flash will be like swithed off.
Ps: just back from a street walk with my flash, 50 gn, snapping like a handgun shoot.
Go below and rhe flash is gone. In a claudy, very moody say, rhen it's possible to use the toy, which I would like too... Light, non intrusive, discrete. But Bruce Guilden don't use it.
U wot mate?
@@Youcantleavethisempty01 I wot(e) once in 5 years. Even if is useless
I don't think you quite understand what you're talking about buddy.
@@Dvlx1 "you don't think". I do. I make.
No bala bla, I DO what I say. And by the way I say such basic things that whatever pro know. Btw: I'm writing you in a language that is not mine.
Not asking u to answer in mine. Difficult ah?..
The party Is gonna finish there.
Also this I know
@@DavidFontanari You might be able to write in 2 different languages but you don't know how to use flash properly.
Lens is Always out of stock
that flash is useless
If you really want a compact street camera package I recommend the viltrox 27 1.2 pro. It’s a beast. It’s not small if you flex at the gym often. Let them know your right across the street and get that astonished look on their face when they know they are being photographed. And tell them there in public - it’s okay! Just kidding. It’s a beautiful lens though
Big (body) and expensive tho
Pity the focus hit rate is only about 50% on auto-focus!.
50% really? I haven't experienced that. Have you tried it out yourself or just relaying what someone else said?
It's unclear what makes it point and shoot. Lens and wrist strap doesn't contribute to it. You should explain how you set up exposure and autofocus.
That Fuji does not have an off camera TTL flash cord is why Fuji is not a pro camera. Pathetic
you can do off camera flash without a flash cord. I do it all the time at weddings.
