Hi Omega, Do you know about Seacliff Asylum, now called the Truby King Reserve? Although the main building has been demolished with some remnants, some do remain but are privately owned. There is bush & also walking tracks up past the old tennis court. The grounds are haunted indeed, a fire broke out in a wing killing most of the paitents in that building, a plauqe & tree sits on that part now. Be awesome if you could do an explore & an overnight challenge with Forsaken, 2Tucky4dinner & your other mate? Cherry Farm ( the asylum to replace Seacliff ) is also creepy to walk around at night. Seacliff is up Russle Rd off the coastal road between Warrington & Karitane. Cherry Farm is located on the right of State highway 1 heading to Dunedin it's now called Hawksbury, there is also a cheese factory on the right of the grounds. Had some out of it experiences at both locations.
I've certainly heard of it! I'll talk to the team and see if we can organise a trip! definitely on my list don't worry!

Mate.. iv seen and experienced some truely weird shit there before... 2007, Me and my mate Jono went up there.. we went thru the first staff house on the way up the druveway. While we were in there jonos bag went missing off the floor in the lounge area of the house in a space of 15seconds.. we never found it after 15mins of looking everywhere and left..
Then 6 months later we went back up there, ended up in thw bowling club building.. seen a old chap walking past the greens at a not so very fast pace.. freaked out n ran up to the remaining hospital building and watched for 10mins and never seen the old man again.. was fucking weird..
Then as we were leaving we poked our nose thru the broken ply boards to check out the main hospital hall area and as i pulled my head away for jono to have a look we heard someone running down the unstairs hallway.
We left after that, never ever going to return. Fucking ever.
Funny you say that.. we had things go missing too and turn up awhile later.. so strange!
If you walk up past the hospitals before you get to the table tennis academy up the top take a right into the bush and walk up about 5 minutes and you will find a concrete room in the ground. The only way in was a square hatch in the roof. I don't think anything good happened in there.

I think I might of seen that, my friends were exploring the area today and went to a ton of random places in the bushes before we found the hospitals. I noticed there was concrete on the ground in the middle of no where but I didn’t think much of it
Yea and there is also a cemetery up on the hill with about 10-20 graves. You have to walk up. It's before the tennis court by the pool
@@hutanagrant700 yeah I’ve seen the cemetery before, my class went on a trip there once and the owners were talking about it. Never knew about all the abandoned houses and stuff till 4 years later 🙃
Was in nelson last August. First time since 2007 and had a look up there. It was fenced off and have new houses up there haha

@@JJaguar333 In Maori legend, the name actually represents an eye of Te Wheke. An octopus that was split apart, one of the eyes landed in the valley there. Full name of the place is: Nga Whatu o Te Wheke o Muturangi

@@ItsOmega yea I just read that. Apparently that whole valley is creepy. Read there was an old Catholic orphanage up there where kids were treated badly. And also an old Maori burial ground.
@@JJaguar333 Orphanage is taken down now.. been right up the valley! No buildings are left but small pump shed, those 2 nursing homes(pre trashed now) swimming pool, graveyard and bowling club. Deff worth going up though! grounds is haunted as!

@@ItsOmega it about 200m south of the caretakers house on a hill - it should show up on google maps or top of the south maps :)
