14yrs ago God gave me this passage Isaiah 60-62 after i prayed so hard due to i was so sad and confused. I waited and eventually i studied it until now. I learned that passage has no walls but a continuing messages, guidance to see about the "FALL FEAST" divine event in this season. At my early part i called it jubilee year of the Philippines but later on i learned its the fall feast. Spring feast to fall feast. From individual to nation invitation to come in. Its alsoa guidance to see the new heaven and new earth. It rhymes with Jeremiah 31:9-14. A commision to end injustices not only on churches but also on a nation. A revival of the Filipinos true identity that was rob since ancient time. Filipinos had this time that where mocked, rob and aswell destroyed but now due to tjw revival dramatically its destiny ia restoring. It has many purpose i just said few of it. A call to honor the fall feast by blvrs and nation is now open

I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today (August 9), I attended the graveside service for one of our former members who died recently. This passage from the book of the prophet Isaiah was read by her nephew. After marrying, she moved away, but never forgot her roots, often returning home with her family, mainly for holidays and other occasions. We will miss you, Lorela.

      “Let There Be Light!”
~In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God... In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend... But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God... who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.~
      Dear America,
I am just one more voice in a whirlwind of thunderous echoes; and though these pleas might fall on deaf ears let all who have ears hear, Amen! America, it is obvious that we are in a state of grief. We are living through a pandemic that has claimed the lives of over [215],000 souls; and while we debate basic commonsense precautions, the death toll climbs along with its mental toll on our medical community. We have millions upon millions of households jobless and panic-stricken because they can’t make ends meet; meanwhile we all try and cope with our new normal being apart and away from the comfort of loved ones. The stitches from this country’s centuries-long racial wounds have burst wide; and while tears and blood stains our communities, we can no longer deny the injustices we have yet to overcome. We have all heard those heart-wrenching wails from migrant children ripped from their mothers’ bosom out of pure malice; and while immigrant families have been vilified and hate crimes rise, we must never become numb to the cruelties we bear witness. Moreover, we are in the middle of a presidential election, and the chaos swirling around us is just overwhelming.
God granted mankind freewill and thus we’re imperfect; which makes us vulnerable and easily influenced, especially in the wrong hands. Moreso these days, there is an all-out campaign acutely targeted at exploiting our open-wounds to drive us farther apart solely to further personal political agendas. And while modern technology is a blessing, especially during a pandemic; it is also a blackhole making it easy to get sucked in and tangled up in its dark webs. It will get more and more difficult to see things clearly; and we’ll question who to trust and what to believe. Scripture warns of a time when even God’s elect could be led astray by a master manipulator. Now more than ever we must utilize our God-gifted light; which is powered by our sixth sense, our conscience. God has always been with us beloved brothers and sisters, and absolutely nothing is impossible with God!
America, we must come together for the greatest mission. We have the chance to change course, but it takes all of us; no man left behind, everyone aboard the ark this time. This election transcends political party affiliations; let us send a resounding message to the darkness once and for all and vote Pro-Light. United we will be the light that shines across oceans and continents and wraps around the whole world. America is a work-in-progress which is what makes her beautiful; and we must never give up on the promise to make her comparable for all her children. Whichever side of history your ancestors were on, let us be the generation to right those wrongs and to liberate the oppressed. We have the opportunity of all-lifetimes to shelve the past and begin anew... let us light the way by making America Bright! May the grace and love of Jesus Christ light the world; whose compassion paid the ultimate price for all our sins. Amen!
~And now these three remain: faith, hope and love; but the greatest of these is Love!~

Thank you so much for your honesty about your mother. What you described about her not coming out of her house is very similar to what I have experienced with my mother; and I want you to know that it gives me courage to hear a pastor/preacher talk openly about something similary dark and painful.

Never before, and perhaps never again in the history of the world, we’ve witnessed a marvelous display of the power of the most high through the lens of a young, but awe-inspiring and remarkable kid, encompassing and exuding all of the attributes that a good , loving God could have possessed. From his conversations and his demeanor, everyone was in total disbelief of how knowledgeable, and good-natured this young kid was. However, he would shock them even more, when upon entering the temple, he asked for a roll of the book of Isaiah and read specifically that part of scripture which he claims has just come to pass. While many were in a state of awe, others were beginning to doubt him, and seeing him as a potential target with his controversial remarks, violating the law of Moses and the prophets. A violation so egregious ,that it would warrant his death. One thing, we must notice is that the observers of the laws, did not act out of hatred or personal antipathy against Jesus, but rather was enforcing them against Jesus, whom they had proof was in violation of those norms. In other words, if someone did anything wrong, it wasn’t them enforcing the laws, which they did not write or vote on, but rather God for putting those laws in place or Jesus, perhaps , for violating them. That , too, contradicts the claim that Jesus died for our sins that we might live, when we keep dying . Some would argue otherwise, claiming that the death they’re referring to, is eternal death not the natural one we witness everyday. Such argument simply belies the narratives provided by God by which he claims that we die for violating his instructions . Certainly, he wasn’t referred to eternal death. Simply put, killing us has never been God’s intention but we offer him no better option. Had not sinned, we wouldn’t have died, to put that in simple language. Now, if we would never have died, but for the commission of sins, and Jesus died for us so we might live, then why on hell are we still dying physically? It makes no sense. Some one must have lied, presumably Jesus, and someone else must have been playing around way too much, causing miracles to lose their lives for no reasons when it very much seems like, he has no intention of holding his Messiah responsible for openly urging people to accept to die for him, while someone else must have asked others to kill as many as they can , mainly those with different beliefs than them, even when all parties involved think they’re worshipping God . Other than pandemonium, find yourself a better description of such nonsense. Accept to be killed for God, and kill as many as you can for for the very same God, isn’t that nonsense and scary? If you dismiss that as a joke, then, you certainly would ignore history, when millions have lost their lives as instructed by whom that was who ordered them to accept to die for him, and countless others were killing massively as they ,too , were ordered to do for God. If you were at the receiving end of those senseless crimes, or the ones who are carrying them out, then you would have known they cannot be just dismissed under the false pretense of foolishness on the part of God’s angels or devils. They’re terrible and they affect real people’s lives. Until, we brush aside any trait of fanaticism to uphold our rights to question anything deemed to have been from God, then nonsense would always prevail and we will continue to be victimized and decimated by the cherished kids of God, while they are laughing at us. If Jesus were to be found any different than who he tells us he is, making us worshipping, and asking us to die for him, and consequently millions have died because of him, and whoever else who have ordered other religious groups to kill because of him or her, posing as God. Then, both, Jesus and whoever that might be should face severe consequences for the bloodshed they’re responsible for. If not, then, what does justice and God have in common? I find it hard to believe that God would sit idly by and let his devils or angels, create that big mess in his world under his very name by misleading people? What just God would tolerate such nonsense? Calling yourself God, when you’re not, asking people to die for you, and millions have, when they should not. Your case can be dismissed if only you’re angels or devils by pretending you’re foolish . Why not pretend to be foolish? It sure pays off.

Any good translation of Isaiah 61:1 should have the phrase “sight to the blind” or at least a footnote to that effect. Dead Sea scrolls, Septuagint, and Jesus own words in Luke all attest to this. We need to remember that we got our present Masoretic Text Bible from a biased source and therefore we must employ sound textual criticism to get as close to the divinely inspired Original Text as possible.
    PS: Solid Gospel ending!
