  • Jesus read out this passage in the synagogue in Nazareth and announced that it was fulfilled that day. Naturally, they wanted to throw him off a cliff for saying such things.

First time I've been unable to complete a viewing of tbe Isaiah series. Ian is straining gnats. Making the uncomplicated, complicated. Alan's poise is an affirming presence.

Jesus surely was God but he laid aside that and came as man. He then said that he could nothing except what the Father TD him to do and he said nothing except what he TD him to say. He did not act in the way as being God, but showing us how man should live as man.

If Jesus came totally as God to us, How could we kill God when he is eternal? How could we kill he who has eternal life,? He, the man, was crucified. If we could crucify God, then woe betides us!! We would have no hope, because man is able to kill God. So, certainly, he came as man and died as man would die. We cannot kill God. The Goodman was killed.

That means you don't get in my way, or call the shots. I won't bow to your whims.
Nations are under a curse because of this lie. Not my lie, not my sin. You're found. Tell the truth.
Your mess that we have to clean up.
But we can thru Christ which is something you ain't got.
    Proof.
    Sad.

The temporary period, when Jesus was a man & Devine, in my humble opinion, ...was the time when He married Mary Magdalene& took her as His wife, hence, He gave up His state of being deity and Devine at one stage... as according to the belief of the Coptic Christian Orthodox.....but He was not a sinful man but He was just only in pure mans flesh as He loves Mary Magdalene His wife... and this enables Him to die on the cross as a simple man, but yet He was still Devine and not or never sinful....

@@MrDeleoco I’m sorry..I know that it’s sound shocking...but this is what the Coptic Christian orthodox believe...it’s not me....I’m just saying that it could be true.....and I can’t see anything wrong with it anyway if the Lord Jesus did Mary Magdalene ,...after all the Lord Jesus was half Devine and half human when he lived his 33 years life on earth before He died for 3 days only then resurrected and ascended into heaven by God the father the Almighty.....I hope I’m making any or some sense....I really can’t see anything wrong about it....& by the way, actually ...this Coptic Christian Othodox people that told me this was very very cautious in saying this to me, Bec they have a spiritual or church policy not to tell this to others as it’s very controversial, they said, as is not written in the bible, and so they don’t want to tell others outside of their church...no offence to any Christian followers like me....thank you...I’m signing off now....God bless everyone.

additional----- right following the above reply that I wrote, when I was just about to go back to bed , my senses was telling me to open the holy scriptures and I did and my hand took me to the page of St John chap 21 soI red through it, and here puzzled me what it mean on the end...verse 25-- And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one,I suppose that even the world itself could nor contain the books that should be written. Amen. ------- I wonder exactly what this mean....again, God bless everyone

I can appreciate what you are saying.. this is how I see it regarding the "mission impossible" for mankind:
The Bible entirely indicates one mission, to save mankind from the snare of the devil. After the fall Eve then Adam by deception of Satan, GOD made a plan of deliverance (Salvation).👉Genesis 3:14-15 KJV
And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: [15] And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.👈
We have prophesies thereafter pointing to Messiah (Jesus) concerning His coming in many Scriptures... Until and including His death on the cross. Thereafter we have the promises of His return for the resurrection of the saints for the final events of the world made new. That's the abbreviated scenario.
Back to the prophetic descriptions: a study of the bridegroom, as attributed to Christ depicts to me that Jesus had only one task to fulfill for his Bride. The following link has the better presentation and definition of the Bridegroom (Jesus and the Church "Bride"): qr.ae/pNUH9Q
Jesus was about his Father's work (Salvation/redemption)
      Luke 2:42-52 KJV
And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast. [43] And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not of it. [44] But they, supposing him to have been in the company, went a day's journey; and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintance. [45] And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him. [46] And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions. [47] And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers. [48] And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing. [49]
👉👉👉👉👉And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business? [50] And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them.👈👈👈👈👈
[51] And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart. [52] And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.

No... according to Coptic Christian Orthodox, He gave up His divinity but did not take on sin fullness because , He married Mary Magdalene and took her for His wife, and therefore Hehas come down to equal level of humanity which allowed Him to die on the cross as a man but not sinful man

Jesus was never married, I’m sorry you were misinformed! Jesus died for us on the cross because He loves us so much and wants us saved and in heaven with Him, He raises from the death so we can have everlasting life ! John 3:16
