Surrounded by numerous manta rays while scuba diving and snorkeling near Ishigaki Island in Japan!

Scuba diving and snorkeling in the sea of Kuroshima departing from Ishigaki Island.
This time we saw manta rays gathering in winter off Nakamoto Beach, Kuroshima Island near Ishigaki Island.
From winter to early spring, many manta rays gather here to feed on the plankton that flows around Kuroshima.
Because manta rays feed on plankton that is abundant near the surface of the water, snorkeling as well as scuba diving can be used to experience manta rays up close and personal.
It takes about 25 minutes from Ishigaki Island to Kuroshima by diving boat.
