I’ve noticed from my grandma, who was taught by my great grandma, & all the other older people I’ve watched cook, that the ingredients & seasonings were always simple & you actually tasted the meat or whatever the base was but the simple ingredients just made it better. Now a days, we use 20 different seasonings for fried chicken & it overpowers the chicken itself. I’m so glad my grandma taught me how to cook by the ways my great grandma taught her ☺️

Season and marinate your chicken people. That is the way we do it in the Caribbean.

I can't get over the name. I always knew of dooky as the same as doo-ddo, poop, etc. I don't think I could ever put a dooky anything in my mouth, no matter how good some claim it is.
