Comparison of Belt Driven , Direct driven and Gearbox driven Pressure washers u can view our range of engine driven washers at jetmac.co.uk/shop?olsPage=pro...
Good video I own 4 with reduction gearboxes three Briggs and recently a yanmar l100 engine which went bang and tried to remove gearbox and pump guess what snapped aluminium casing trying to remove it my next machine will be belt driven wish I had this information 6 years ago when I started
Do you get issues with the direct drive pump being mated directly with the engine? Would it be advisable to remove and replace the key way every so often? Thanks.
Hi, where can i buy this pulleys and belt from, i have honda 200 gx driving Interpump one inch pump, can u please tell me where to buy plus what is the cost, thank u
Hello! I want to make with own hands of high pressure washer. I have an engine 6,5HP, Lifan 168F2 (a full analog of Honda GX200). Tell me what pump will be suitable for this engine (part number)?
There is antishok balls that can be mounted to the pump to absorb the shoks when you pull the trigger. I'm surprised they are not mounted with antishok ball and gauge.
I wanted to make an electric pressure washer setup using a 5 HP electric motor that came off an old air compressor. It spins at 3450 rpm but it spins in the wrong direction and is non-reversible. I am going to need to use a belt driven pump with it aligned parallel to the electric motor for it to work.
not at all, because you mount the appropriate pump on a belt driven or gear driven system. All the industrial duty machines are either gear or belt driven and have much larger pumps that run at 1450RPM than what you see on direct drive washers.
I turned a direct drive into a skid belt drive was ez cost me about 1000 but shout out to RUSS Johnson SSE sold me all the pulls and had jus what I needed
7 years later and this was the best informative video I’ve found explaining this. Thank you
I couldn’t agree with you anymore
ABSOLUTELY GREAT AND INFORMATIVE one of the best and most basic videos I’ve seen in ages great job 🎉
Thank you much Sir- Such a great explanation.

Where can i buy the belt unit , i mean all pulleys belt and cover?
Thanks
I like the train in the background
Thank you, God info. I'm leaning more towards a belt drive even thought it costs about $800 more than a direct drive.
What did you end up going with ?
@@dddd3161 I never got one.

Do you have a distributor in The Us?
Great video
I don’t know much about these. Are you able to leave the motor running without pulling the trigger on any of these?
yes, they usually run at lower speed when the trigger is not squeezed.
Wouldn't the reduction box cause the pump to only have half the psi and gpm if it makes the pump spin at only half the speed?

Fabulous
Cuánto vale y donde la consigo
Great info, that belt drive is nice and compact..... big word dis-e-pate lol
Griffs Services dissipate actually!
A little humor on my part
2.2:1 reduction
If its the same motor why can't you just add the pully and the belts and then a belt-driven pump Honda engine is the same engine on all?????
you can, if you know what you're doing!
