Also just saw a news article that said they laid off the blue man group too. :( They plan to get them back as soon as they can though.

Anton Chelnokov's act in Varekai has to be one of the most beautiful acts in all Cirque du Soleil. He was perfect as Icaro.

Marie-Michelle's act is one of the most stunning ones, performing in the air with that hoop and at the same time singing that notes! amazing!
I don’t think she was actually singing. I didn’t see a mic and her vocal chords weren’t moving.

@@angeliqueperez2592 yes, she is, it took her some time to master singing while supporting on the hoop, that is why i think she is one of the best singers Cirque Du Soleil ever had, almost met her in Amsterdam but we went the wrong way!

One of the great ironies of our time- Cirque goes bankrupt because of the CCP Virus, & the Chinese then buy them out.
It's not just the performance, it's the expression on the performers faces at the end of each act, they just glow with pride and it somehow makes you love them even more and gives the whole experience that little something extra ✌️💕
The guy in the fish net, was just beyond amazing 😍😍😍😍 I’m still dreaming of one day being able to go to one of their shows. 🙋🏻♀️
After taking a bunch of classes and watching my classmates do it. Then having gone to some outings to watch the PROS do it.
I am truly appreciating cirque performers and their ABSOLUTELY INSANE talent. They're just leagues above everyone else.

The O show will forever be my absolute favorite cirque du soleil show. It's beyond astonishing truly a beautiful show

Superb acts all of these. But I have great memories of seeing Vareki in Sydney Australia. The Atherton Twins act always give me chills every time I see it 😍👏👏👏👏👍😊

17:15 - 25:16 is the most beautiful romantic moment in KA. The music and the voice of the singers are ... poetry. The professionalism of the artists from Ka is second to none. The girl in the red dress is a knockout. The whole spectacle is hers. It's just my opinion. Ka - this is the best CdS show .. :)

My favorite CDS scene also, though “O” is my favorite overall show. Erica Linz and Pierre Luc Sylvain are just perfection both in acrobatics and in characterization in this.

never seen Varekai live - but it was the first show on DVD that made me Cirque's fan!
Since then I watched every show available in Las Vegas. To me that's actually the only reason to visit Vegas :)

Varekai also made me a cirque fan. I was lucky to have been able to see it live many times and also work at the show for 2 months selling merchandise. I also went backstage a few times as well and met many of the artists.

Its a pitty that Cirque du Soleil dont make random Castings in my country Romania,just athletes,they are not the only once worth the time to be watched,also Circus performers would give anything to be take in to concideration by this Company.
I still hope the Casting process will be extended in my country!

Thank you for continuing to give us such joy every Friday during these rough times. What an amazing gift.
Aside from pure artistry and that continuous display of near perfection, one must appreciate how the Cirque performances are continually one-upping themselves. I wouldn't call earlier sets primitive by any means, but there is certainly an escalation in difficulty and prowess of the spectacular as the years have passed, and unless it's specifically part of the routine, you'll never see a safety net!

Over summer break, I was talking with my High School band teacher about how I myself do aerial silks and hope to one day make it professionally, ( I don’t actually play an instrument tho) He told me that one of his best friends is the musical director for the show Kà; HOW COOL IS THAT!!!

Cirque will always have a Three Women power act that, every time, no matter what, will always blow your mind no matter how many times you watch it. Im looking at you Kooza, Quidam, Vereka, Amaluna, etc......
