  • If you've ever wondered what a "flying bath tub" of a tandem-winged plane looks like, we've got you covered. Here we have an excellent example with the French "Flying Flea" with Bob Brown of the Ballarat Aviation Museum. In this segment, we'll be showing you all of the unique ins and outs of one very quirky flying machine. Interestingly, this plane was said to be quite dangerous to land, owing to it's tandem-wing design.

I admit ...my father said the same story when i bought my secondhand Flying Flea. He feared i bought my own coffin. But ...the accidents were dated 1934-1936. The redesign plans of the Flying Flea in 1936 is still being used today in France. There is now a revival of Flying Flea interest in the USA. You can read a lot about the how and why about Flying Fleas and other strange looking airplanes at website called nestofdragons. Go see its huge Flying Flea section. AND ...IT HAS THE FREE TO DOWNLOAD ENGLISH PLANS TO ACTUALLY BUILD A MODERN EDITION!!

The problem was only on the first plans, corrected and is today one of the safest planes to build.

Covers one aspect, which was fixed. Where are all the other 'ins and outs'?

Typical reasoning of who does not know anything about the Flying Flea. Before giving an opinion, please investigate more on the subject and avoid saying nonsense. One more thing, avoid involving other people like Mr Brown with your own wrong theories, I doubt that he thinks like you about this subject.
