This video feels like such a breath of fresh air.., love this kinda long format content with so much substance in it. It feels like watching a really well produced series🥰

Great video! I wanted to provide a little bit of perspective on the take that the guitar battle in Crossroads was won with creativity. While creativity was certainly involved in writing Eugene's Trick Bag, that wasn't what won the battle (nor the point imo). We have to go back to the beginning of the story where Eugen is a student classical guitarist studying at Juilliard. While Eugene is shown as a prodigy classical guitarist, he has a deep love for the blues which is looked down upon by his instructors... to the point that it is seen as disrespectful to even play blues licks in a Beethoven piece! Eugene soon after abandons his classical studies to take a blues-immersed trip down to the old crossroads where Willy signed away his soul to the Devil years before, however; his classical skills will soon become essential in winning the duel between him and the Devil's guitar player, Jack Butler. During the duel and after matching but unable to outshine Jack's over-the-top licks blues licks, Eugen must dip into his classical roots in order to claim victory. To which he responds with a classically inspired etude that is, of course, beyond Jack's abilities thus winning the duel and Willy's soul. There's even foreshadowing where, earlier in the movie, Eugen is seen practicing this same etude on classical guitar while being surrounded by iconic blues albums. Pretty cool! Anyways, cheers and well done!

Thank you, Ivan, for your comment and support!! 🙏🙏
I don’t know, Marty Friedman said I his time being a shredder was a bad thing. Shredding cheese he said, an alternative way to say cheesy.
Yeah, it's quite subjective, it's up to every player to make their own interpretation! Thanks for your comment!
amazing vide as always!!
Thank you for your comment Erik!!
This video was one of the most interesting ones I have ever seen!! Great content, superb quality and super friendly and cormpetent creator...

You're welcome! 😃
Man your videos quality are on another level this video is amazing as always
Thank you for your comment and your support!! I really appreciate it 🙏🙏
Great video! Personally, Guthrie is my favorite. He has such great ideas. He always suprises me with new things every time I hear him. I also love how he uses all these weird guitar noises in musical ways. He just has a very strong connection to sound, and that's why I like his playing so much.
I also like when he uses his faster shredding lines like a drum fill, building energy going into the next vamp or section. He has great timing with where the lines end in particular, very often a chord tone on the first beat of the next measure. I really like his placement style. I love how he plays with polyrhythms too.
His "slingshot" bends are something of his I can actually achieve lol Very energetic technique. He has lots of cool ideas.
The quality of your content easily got my sub!
Thank you so much for your comment!!! Guthrie is from another world, He's definitely what I call a "complete musician" (at least in Spanish makes sense to me 😅) I really admire him. I have to admit that his talent feels a bit intimidating. One of the best for sure!
No one has touched me as much as Friedman man
Marty es one of the best, I had the chance to see him live some years ago. It was one of the most beautiful and inspirational shows I've ever seen.
Roy Clark ist the ultimate shredder !
Thank you for mentioning him, I'm going to include him in my upcoming video!
If you see the buckethead's card , you're able to say:
- Jesus, he's an alien.
I think a lot of people remember where they were the first time they heard Yngwie back in the day.
My favourite among all these shredders is bucket. Such versatile player. His shredding gets a little repetitive at times but he's still my favourite along with shawn lane and paul gilbert.
He's such an incredible guitar player. virtuoso and creative, I wish I could see him Live!
If you can't sing back with your voice melodies you did on guitar , you just making a noise

Thank you my friend! I really appreciate your work. Your version of Top Gear is the best on the entire Internet. Keep on rock!
Who is the first?!??!
That video is in production 😉
I believe ya have to put chicken picking in this category...danny gatton was devastating and as fast as he wanted to be and Roy Buchanan, i dunno just an observation if you are saying technique-creativity etc...
Great long content, but Lucas Mann vs Levi Clay example isn't the best, as it was disproven pretty quickly.
Number 1. There is no 2. Period
I'm not sure if I understand your comment 😅
