Even though Yngwie has gone downhill and his music in the last 12 years has been terrible, his legacy will stand the test of time. His body of work from 1983 to around 2003 will forever blow people’s minds. He has nothing left to prove to anybody
I remember first time watch Panos, it was like 2006 or 2007, with a Fender Hearthfield, I just wanna say he is more than Yngwie clone, but ofc Yngwie give that poison all of us

Panos Arvanitis is not just a clone... He is a true master of his Art, he is much more accurate and emotional than other players in the list. His melodies are just superb.. I am not trying to take credit away from other great guitar players here, but they are just Malmsteen s clones. Arvanitis he is not a clone,
... He is a fully developed shred lord who deserves much more attention in my humble opinion ! The only problem with him and the total recognition he deserves , is that he was born Greek... Music is the winner here anyway! Peace and love!
I think a lot of players are Yngwie Clones, Panos Arvantis too!!! if not ¿Why sounds so Yngwie, because being Greek probably must sound to Bazouki, I listened a Guitarist from Greece called Kostas Grigoreas and an album named Guitar in the Greek Mode, and don´t sound to Yngwie and sounds very good, Panos Arvantis is a very good player!!!.

Panos Arvanitis is the one best guitarists... ON THE PLANET! He's a hybrid of Yngwie malmsteen, Jake lee, John sykes, Gary moore, and Zakk wylde. He can play each one of these Styles perfectly but he does it in his own way. No one like him.

Cesario makes EVERYONE else look silly if you're looking for neo classical yngwie type playing. hands down... noone touches him imo... pano is very good too but honestly i think cesario just blazes everyone else... the aggression of young yngwie, literally every tone hes ever had..every song he can play even alcatrazz stuff, live stuff you name it cesario can nail it 100% perfect its crazy lol

OK so he hasn't got the Stratocaster & YJM wardrobe & hairdo,but this dude too me is 100% original too himself & I believe Yngwie would be most impressed with for having the YJM influence but who makes it his own by playing it his way & improvising around it!!!

I'll take Panos Arvanitis with feeling in his playing over technically perfect arpeggios.
Magy himself has the closest original 80’s yngwie tone and sound along with Cesario who has more of Yngwie 90’s era sound
Yes there is a few, but almost everybody focus on licks and finger technique but forgot Malmsteen's "expresive-agressive personality" while playing.
Arvanitis...wow. all the cheese and excess and very listenable. I dont want to play any of this but appreciate those who choose to make it sound fantastic.

Hi Andrew, You mentioned posible problems with stamina. The key is to RELAX. Relax your body and your mind. We tend to grip and fret harder than we think.

Am I the only one here who thinks some of the videos might have been slightly accelerated... the motion of the hair for example (or things like the way the hand or even the string moves at times) in some of the videos suggests to me at least that the videos might not be running entirely on normal timing... just me?

A bit "awkward" to refer to Panos Arvanitis as a Malmsteen clone, because he is one of the guitar beasts in Greece and in Europe generally. Of course YM was one of his main influences, i guess he wouldn't deny that either, but he has been a renowned musician for many years now.

Steve Jeffrey, is the man for emulating Yngwie he's so effortless and clean.. his vibrato and bends are on point as is his attack and shredding.
YJM first few albums were just BEAUTIFUL! Thanks for this. Another dude, Chris Impelliteri, blows me away. When he came out I dismissed him as an YJM copy. One thing though is that I was sure that he was faster than YJM.. HOW?!?!?!?! Picked him back up recently and I'm certain that he makes YJM sound like he's in the slow lane. Even the fastest playing of YJM isn't as fast as him. HOW?!

@ 2:30 I think the arps sounded different because his action is super low where as Malmsteens action is high with a scalloped neck but he played the arps pretty much the same.
They are all incredible guitarists, without a doubt. But @MaxOstro plays his guitar like he's reading a simple book. Awesome! As for @gustavoguerraguitarrista, this brazilian guitarrist is too great - as we used to say in Brazil, he is "a beast". Great channel, btw. Inscribed.

I cant remb. its been awhile since I played or studied YM music but does Yngwie use a stacked single in the bridge or just a traditional single coil ? He gets chucky Riffs and then a soaring lead tone , I always liked YM riff tone . Never tried to duplicate since all my Guitars have Humbuckers that run hot so not the right setup ?
