I really hope we get a explanation for that in the future. Yozora wielding a Keyblade without bequeathing is just weird.
Given it's displayed as more of an overlay on top of his weid laser sword, I'd guess he's not actually using the keyblade itself, just using it as an imprint for all the copies he lobs at you.
no matter how old sora will be, the ultima weapon will always look comically large
