I'm doing cabinets in my new kitchen in a few weeks! This couldn't have come at a better time!
Clear and concise. Nicely done, Ben!
Thanks Benji! Great Video and Bonus tip at the end!
Thank you. Your content is always fantastic!
Thanks!
Good job buddy 👍👌✌️ I love to work with wood..I made all of my kitchen cabinets out of cedar .
Nice cabinets.
Hanging cabinets is where the fun is. Especially by yourself....
Agreed! Been there done that!
Two words: french cleat.
Put a cleat to rest cabinets on. Of course, take doors off.
Level it, get a 1x2 that is perfectly level. Rent a laser level.
Right to the point, very well explained. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Ol Benjamin is a pretty fart smeller, I mean a pretty smart feller 😁 I have been watching him for some time and I have to say I'm pretty proud of the things he has taken on and accomplished!🇺🇲
Always locked the frames in first them used did final shim. Most box cabinets are not square.
Why not use a pilot bit with a countersink attached? It would make the job a lot simpler...
Which set do you recommend?
@@zanderesp4295 he uses an 1/8 bit
Big box stores sell screws with tiny heads
May I ask if my carpenter didn't really fixy 2 cabinet together and everything in the kitchen are done. What I could use to fill the gap in between? I hate it that ants could travel through it.
You need to call him back and tell him to do it right or give you your money back.
Or buy the right tool to counter sink so all screws are at the same depth...cpunter sink drill bit is on a few bucks
Good advice.
Hey Benjamin we missed you bro when I you going to give us another electrician video we counted on you sir
My question is if the face frames have a slite over hang on each side won't the cabinet require a shim at the back to level the sides, why doesn't' he mention this, seems this is just as important if not more so and how do you get that shim at the back lower side of the two cabinets.,why do all of these guys recommend an over hang on face frames in the first place.

Why in the hell would you use duck screws on cabinets a Box of a 100 is only $7
excuse me the led lights are flashing to turn on
First!
Youre using a screw designed to counter sink itself, confused on why you drilled the counter sink.
Designed to counter dink in soft wood not hardwood like the frames. They would split.
@@StanSwan not very often. Usually you have to hit a knot.
@@ClumsyCars It only takes a few seconds to drill a countersink, it sucks when the project is almost done and you have to start over because it cracked the face frame. It's only happened to me once but that's one time too many.
Use pony clamps instead of hand clamps.
Use EZ-Level system instead of shims.
You’re welcome.
