They all crack like that, grind it, drill it, and weld it or epoxy the outside and it was good to go. There is no pressure behind that crack like in a car would have. Its a open cooling system on that engine. Good learning though.

Thank you I ended up just going with a new motor though! But yes, I fully agree would definitely work great. I end up tearing the whole engine apart and came to conclusion that it wasn’t worth rebuilding the engine on a cracked block so I ended up just swapping it.

What psi did you pressure test the exhaust manifold

Not to sure what it was exactly but as long as you capped it off good you should be able to go pretty high. And if you see no bubbles, you should be chilling.

that part of the block is water onlt .. PSI is around 5.. JB welding will do.. running almost a year on mine 3.0 mercrusier...
