I was looking to replace my 12v sealed lead acid (SLA) deep cycle marine battery for my Minn Kota trolling motor with a cheap Amazon 12v 100ah Lithium Ion trolling motor battery, and LiPuls contacted me after seeing some of my other trolling motor videos. I offered to hook it up and install it to my wireless remote controlled trolling motor, and show how to use a lithium or SLA battery smart charger.
The weight of a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) battery is half of an SLA battery, so it makes it popular on boats, especially for kayakers. The price is more expensive, which is a bit of a con, but the longer life cycling, and lower weights make up for it in spades, plus you don't have to worry about stopping using it when it gets around 50% battery capacity, which is a huge drawback for SLA batteries. Plus, the prices on these Lithium batteries have been getting cheaper every year. I hope this humble LiPuls review is helpful to you. LiPuls is very similar to some of the other Lithium companies out there, like LiTime and Eco-Worthy.

Are you going to do endurance comparison tests between the 2 batteries? That seems like it would make a good video.
BTW, keeping a lithium battery at full charge for long periods isn't the best practice.
