“Now the tiger……is free”
With the Allman Brothers playing, I got chills
Great use of "Whipping Post"!
Same response here. Perfect song for that ending scene.
Munch has his own, twisted, code of honour: he punishes little, coward men like the son of his landlady, or Gator, a stupid, whimpering kid thinking to be smart; he respects Dot, a woman who fights for her life even when she is at the bottom.
Like Omar said; a man’s got to have a code.
The key word in ''a stupid whimpering kid'' is a KID. Gator was a product of his environment, he should have been given a chance outside of it, not blinded for the crimes of his father.
@@yevgeniyaleshchenko849 he got what he deserved. He was a douchebag. He was like 27, 28.. not exactly a kid but definitely stupid and not tough and clearly not a winner like he tried to convince himself.
@@yevgeniyaleshchenko849 Gator stole the money back, not Roy. Gator would've been fine if he left it alone like Roy told him to.
Loved every season of Fargo (so far), but this scene, right here, is the most badass scene of the entire show. "Now the tiger, is free..." Allman Bros.....goosebumps.....
I mean Jesus this my favourite series and just when think it can’t show me anything I wouldn’t expect they do this easily the best scene within season 5 and actually comes close to topping some of my favourite parts of the earlier seasons bravo!
My top five favorites in no particular order cause I can't choose
1. Frank Peterson lorne malvo interrogation ( the way his eyes sparkle)
2. Hanzee forest scene or bar scene or pretty much anything with him
3. Season 3 Nikki swango meets Mr wrench on the bus(my at the time reaction was ",ohhhh yeah things just turn 180 these bad dudes are done for)
4. I don't live season 4 but the episodes with rabbi miligan were but so was oraettas weird presence
5. Tiger is free
I know I'm forgetting many.
All lorne malvo was great, loved swango ( genuine crush on Mary Winstead for that performance! Lol) hanzee ,
Oh honorable mention if not top five was when Gaetanno went beast mode when thsie guys attacked them by the bon fire. That was a badass scene
Munch is the Spirit of America. He's been here since the beginning. He rode with the 16 tribes. He suffered their loss, the loss of his heritage and home. An immigrant, a stranger in a strange land. Forced to suffer in limbo while never truly feeling as if he had a place in this world, other than as a deal maker. He's the living embodiment of what Fargo is about.
No,he is not.
@@raymeester7883Yes, he is
@@raymeester7883 what a really well thought out response, prick
Yes, he is. @@raymeester7883
@@raymeester7883let’s hear your thoughts on it
So happy and amazed to hear "Whipping Post" kick in at the end of this episode.
Great use of music.
My favorite scene from the series so far, but when whipping post started playing, That was the clincher. Genius
just finished this season like 10 mins ago... Dot and this bad ass mother fucker are my favorite characters.
Ole munch is a wildcard in this season plus the cinematography in this episode was great. Especially 1:14
Couldn't believe she climbed in and left the gun!!
That bothered me too! I was so confused where her gun went in that scene!
Munch is my hero. For real. I love him. I'm just so hooked on everything he says and does. Most interesting character I've seen in awhile. I figured he'd help her at some point. This episode made me so happy.
Most interesting character since Hanzee I think but he’s been alive for like 6 centuries lol
@@kdizzle901I wish they explained the reason why these paranormal events/beings like Munch exist in Fargo
Can you love the character without idolizing him? He worked for tillman and blinded Gator ffs. Please have real soldiers, doctors and rescuers as your Heroes.
@@yevgeniyaleshchenko849 Gator was a fucking asshole. He deserved what he got.
@@yevgeniyaleshchenko849 of course…..Tony Soprano, Vic Mackey, Omar Little, Jack Bauer, Avon Barksdale, Jax Teller, Clay Morrow, Silvio Dante, Lorne Malvo and Hanzee from seasons 1 and 2….
I love how the other upload of this has the same thumbnail. Like everyone knew how badass that shot was lol
I swear this better not be the last season cuz it jus be to damn good 👌
Season 3 was good enough and season 4 sucked but this season is my second favorite after season 2 and then season 1 is third so 1, 2, and 5 are the best three seasons imo
@kdizzle901 I agree on season 4 , jus trash . But season 1 was the best for me . Mainly cuz of Lorne Malvo
Politically speaking, it was a bit too on the nose. The showdown between the FBI and Roy was also built up to be a bit more than what actually happened (the actual conflict lasting about two minutes on-screen), which was rather disappointing. The unusual unpredictability of Fargo was replaced by somewhat feministic virtue signalling, resulting in an eternal punishment for a character we all knew was gonna get his comeuppance. I'd rate it as a 6/10 at best. Ole Munch and his arc saved the season, but the whole Roy storyline was pure dogshit.
@DrPavel-gh4sj the season was good itself imo ,but like u said it kinda had a differnet approach n I felt like it wasn't really "Fargo" in the sense of all the seasons kinda connect with each other in a way .
Song is perfect for this scene. Knew he was going to team up with her to some degree
Was surprised to find out they are both English actors. 🙃
Zut ! Cet épisode n'a pas encore été diffusé en France ! J''aurai pas dû regarder
I hope this isnt the last of Ole Munch before the end of the season
You got your wish! Great dinner scene
Excellent scene, i love this season :)
It's shaping up to be one of my favorite. This scene really has season 2 feel to it with the older song. I can't say that I loved season 4, it had some cool characters and things but as a whole it just felt like another mafia story. I also do. Care for the 1950s feel. I like the modern seasons. Even season 2 I didn't care for except for hanzee. I did learn to like it though
the house above dot as she walks into the fog reminds me of Munch watching over them all
The Allman Brothers Band - Whipping Post
