He might be the bad guy, but he's got some good moments!
Try great
Good? Bad? He’s the guy with the gun.
Wats the season name
Epic post fella 👏
Billy Bob stole every scene he was in as Malvo... the guy's a character acting genius with a charisma you can't teach.
Agreed but Freeman was great as well. Been watching him since the original Office and he knows his stuff.
agree, he absolutley stunning actor..love everything
hes in
He set a new standard for on-screen evil.
Acting isn't that hard bud. Stop making these actors feel like God's.
he carried that whole season.
The first season is unmatched. Top tier
Just watched s1 do u recommend me to go next season?
@@hollowpurple6238 yes it’s like a prequel to the first season and really good
@@hollowpurple6238 Seasons 1-3 are masterpieces. 3rd season is my favorite, but they're all phenomenal and I recommend that you bless yourself with the pleasure of witnessing this show and it's magic.
Season 4 isn't bad, but it's lacking when you compare to the previous seasons. You wouldn't miss much from skipping season 4. But do yourself the favor and watch season 1-3. Amazing.
50/50 between 1 and 2.
@@hollowpurple6238 Yes but go in with an open mind. It is like watching an entirely different show (characters, timeline etc.). Still good
"Highly irregular is when I found a human foot in a toaster oven, this is just odd" 😂👍
The best creation Fargo ever gave us. Ever. My favorite moment is when he persuades that kid to piss in his boss’s gas tank, then calls her and tells her while he’s doing it. Classic
"Still, the look on his face when I pulled the gun. Classic huh?"
His finding the silver lining of a botched bounty and his delivery always kills me
Malvo was the most eerily menacing TV villain of all time.
But unfortunately, the fact that he was arbitrarily nominated as a lead actor simply because “Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Movie” already had 7 nominees (5 of whom were from The Normal Heart) and its “lead actor counterpart” needed a 6th nominee prevented him from winning! The TV Academy are such idiots!
anton chigurh
@@kiruk5608 that was a movie, this is TV.
I am not a huge fan of that one. He looks weird but i didn’t like they didn’t show conflict between hero and villain
@@batgurrl "TV villain" "movie villain" it's all the same
@@samreilly1484 not really. Writing isn’t the same Style- writing for a single two hour movie shouldn’t be compared to building up a villain for 10 or more episodes of a TV show.
Such a shame he only lasted one season.
He made a guest voice appearance in Installment 3.
Best things last short… Imagine he would become a Red John… Just a guy in the end…
You ride like lightning you crash like thunder. Beach
The human eye can see more shades of green because it lets us see predators easier…the smile makes that line so much more chilling terrifying when you know the answer to his question.
I couldn’t figure out if it had to do with money or the cones in our eyes. Or whatever else.
@@coleozaeta6344WHAT DID U JUST TYPE
We need a Lorne Malvo prequel series.
YES PLEASE
Why though
Hell Yes!
Absolutely, with the same sense of humor he has screwing with people's lives and fates and potential
Possibly the best villain I’ve seen in any show or movie. There wasn’t a dull moment in this whole season. This level of writing is so rare nowadays
We are back season 5
Villain he’s the hero lol
@@Rosco-P.Coldchain you wouldn’t mind being on his hit list?
Miss Fargo! Miss Malvo! He would give Lalo Salamanca a run for his money!
Honestly Malvo and Lalo would probably both just really get along and probably start working together with how similar they were lol now imagine this Malvo and Lalo salamanca vs Gus fring and Anton chigurh. That'd be a blood bath now imagine all 4 of them working together. The most lethal crime syndicat in the world.
@@childeaterieatkidz4208 Omg all four of them together would be death itself, that's a crazy thought. That would be badass! Great thought!
malvo is definetly scarier for me. lalo shows loyalty and love to those around him, especially the ones he considers family. malvo is just an algorithm walking around taking lives, not for a specific reason, but because of his nature alone.
I think they would both be intimidated by each others intellect and one would wind up killing the other. They're both dragons.
@@_ZoeyBean_ if they worked together it would over with for everybody. Idc if you’re El chapo, Sam Giancana, Pablo Escobar or Vito Genovese. They got no chance lol
he literally is the demon walking on the earth
Billy Bob was sinister as hell in this role. Really well acted
he's like a charismatic Version from anton Chigurh from no country for old men
"No, highly irregular is when I found a human foot in the toaster oven. This is just odd." 😂😅
billy is such a wonderful actor.he got me in his first scene in slingblade the moment he started to speak in that incredible voice.
I think yer right, mmm-hmm.
Still the best season of Fargo, and Lorne Malvo is why.
They could make a complete Lorne Malvo spinoff series. Always liked the first season, watched it 3 times. The end is only a bit too abrupt for my taste
I always enjoyed his lines when he'd reveal parts of his backstory, like other hit men he's known, or the story about the boy in the woods is perhaps a story about his own life
But Billy would have to reprise the role, only he could do it justice.
And it should include Mr. Wrench and Mr. Numbers
Man that would be sick! Let's rally for it haha
If only Lester didn't have that conversation with Lorne Malvo at the hospital - we wouldn't have had the masterpiece that was season 1.
Sam Hess bullying him started everything
Season 1 in a nutshell: An insurance agent has a brief conversation with a random stranger in a hospital waiting room and sets in motion a snowball of evil and murder which, as it rolls down the hill, consumes nearly everything and everyone in its path.
This has got to be his best character.
I agree
Sling blade is his best character. But still, this one is great
Even his brief screen time in Tombstone was great.
how Malvo played the role of the minister was brilliant and hilarious. Billy Bob absolutely slaughtered this performance
Watch the way how, when his real name is called out, the snake uncoils...
The second best villain written besides Anton Chigur in No Country For Old Men.
lol. Would like to see the two cross paths - like two great bodies crossing one another's orbit.
Cigur is scarier. He’s more like a machine in comparison. I think Malvo is more cunning and complex though.
Nurse Ratched is up there.
@@strafer8764 That’s what’s scary about malvo. He can make you feel completely comfortable around him and flip like a switch. He’s only scary when he needs to be. And it evokes some real life fears. Technically just about anyone around us could be some closeted ruthless psychopath with masterful manipulation skills.
What’s crazy is both characters are written by same people. Anton and Malvo both written by Coen brothers. You can see the resemblance of the characters throughout the seasons
Wow, I almost forgot how insane Lorne Malvo's writing was??
"Cuz there are no saints in animal kingdom"
It's like a Philosopher who's also a Serial killer.
cliched claptrap
@@hectorrenteria631 lol
Claptrap?
You're out of your depth.
The character is a Realist (like Rust Cohle from True detective) nothing they say is a claptrap.
The post office scene is one of the funniest things I’ve ever watched
I love when he's walking by the guy mopping and tells him that he missed a spot. Hilarious.
The way he says "its just me" fightin off laughter lol.
I think this was his best acting role!! truly a great character
Malvo is the GOAT! More Fargo videos too please!
I agree on both! I miss Malvo, such an excellent character
@@_ZoeyBean_ Same here! He’s my all-time favorite Fargo character!
The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist. He does...he's Malvo.
Malvo was damned terrifying! Colin Hanks was the archetypal nepo actor, but he did an excellent job in Fargo.
Definitely my favorite Fargo villain
Ol' Billy killed in this one.
I love how much insight into malvos character we get from the elevator exchange
I’d love to see a conversation between Malvo and Anton Chigur.
Lorne Malvo may just be the best villain I’ve seen in any TV Series, Movie, or Video Game
That last line, priceless.
One of the best shows of all time!
Jesus from twd selling zombie kits at 4:45😂😂😂
Ever see him on a talk show? He's just like this, lol.
I love how he just takes a literal dump in the middle of a confrontation. Based.
How was the scene when he told that kid to piss in the gas tank not in there smh
That's why I came here! "Son...she compared you to a clam..."
Great compilation of shorts. Thank you 👍😎
"Just pretend I'm a 300lb 9-year-old who can't finish a sentence." Malvo had some great one-liners 😂😂
Every moment is his best moment
Just purchased the DVD so I could re-watch this great show.
Wait… they still make DVD’s ???? what next, you gonna tell me you just listened to the new Beyoncé album on a cassette tape? 😮
@@PR-fb9ss considering when the show was produced it’s not too unlikely there was a DVD release.
Are there deleted or extended scenes? Thinking about buy this
Every time I get onto an elevator I think about this scene. I imagine capping everybody in there and telling the one person I don't shoot - "That's on YOU".
I still believe BBT didn’t actually act in this one. That’s just him 😂
BBT absolutely owned this role. Amazing performance
"the look on his face when I pulled a gun...classic huh?" 🤣🙌
Season 5 is Great! Going to rewatch first two seasons though. One of my favorite shows on TV!
S5 SUCKS
@@vmusket5464Nah it’s pretty good.
Love the music! It's like a character in the show!
What a great character
I might just give the edge to season 2, but Lorne Malvo is the best villain of the series.
Though Lester Nygard is the most despicable.
2 was lame. Villain’s dialogue was cringe.
I miss Fargo!
It was pretty explicit what he was asking in that elevator. There shouldn't have been any surprise.
The writing is top tier which matches Billy Bob's performance
One of the best a true story ever. 👍🏻
"Still, the look on his face when I pull a gun. Classic, huh?"
❤
Call the Demon by his name : Lorne Malvo. And Gus Grimly did call him and Gus Grimly did exorcize him. With hot lead. Nice!
"haven't had pie that good since the garden of Eden"
and when he was talking to Gus' neighbor (the Jewish guy) the neighbor said "you have black eyes" and called him "se'irim" which basically means "demon". yeah Lorne wasn't of this world
@@stonecoldsteveaustin9353 👍👍 And hanging around a hospital like Death, the Grim Reaper himself at the beginning. Malvo wasn't really there for a minor bump on his head.
The look on his face when I pulled the gun....classic huh?😅😆
classic, forever
best villain of the series and even better than the ones in the movie
top 3 all time characters of tv show
Lorne Malvo: No Country For Old Men's Anton Chugar with a sense of humor.
Well done bro
What a great series!!!!!!
"the look on his face when I pulled a gun...classic ha" 🤦🏻♂️🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love evry simgle season of fargon, never been disappointed so far , true story directed even better
You think they are true stories? Lol
@@judson8441 why ? Thei are not ? Maby inspired
@@rajibsikder3315are you stupid?
The only reason I wanted season 1.
I am concerned that BBT might actually be a mass murderer. He was toooo natural in this character.
Not a big TV guy but this is the best character I’ve ever seen. Pure evil personified.
While I am watching season 5, having watched season 2 I believe with Jessie Plemons, and Kirsten Dunst, I had to go back and watch the other seasons and realized I missed season 1. And when I watched Billy Bob Thornton from Sling Blade and Bad Santa playing the Malvo character, which reminded me of the villain in No Country for Old Men, as I see other people have also noticed in the comments. Can't believe I missed the gem that is Season 1.
Aces!
Pleassseee do a season that's just Malvo's backstory 😭
BBT killed this role
What a great show. He was absolutely without conscience or morals.
That's 'cause he is the Devil Incarnate, who tempts and corrupts the weak, such as Lester.
love it
“I’m confused”
“That’s okay, I’m not”
Malvos voice change is unbelievable... well no not unbelievable. Slingblade.
"this is just odd..." -I wonder in how much trouble can I get into if I use anecdotes like this around.
He was the Judge from Blood Meridian with a much sharper sense of humor
Personification of a monster studying to play a human.
Malvo was so petty 😂
His death was a hell of a moment as well.
oooooo, lester. what a big smart man!
Speech check 100/100 Success
I would kill for a spin-off.
Writing has gone downhill. I think they’d mess it up.
So would I
Billy Bob ❤❤❤
Every Malvo scene was the best
Malvo and Anton from No Country should be friends
Please bring Malvo back in a 90s Fargo season
Amazing how much these scenes lose without the proper music
Does anyone know the name of the song playing in the background when Malvo is being pulled over?
1:13 I'm pretty sure BBT got ripped before filming this scene!
I wish they would have uploaded this without the orchestra music in the background it kills some of the intensity in these scenes.
bro bilbo must have the hardest life
Six months for 100k? Living that deep cover? He's either the devil or a bizarro version of Leon the professional.
Malvo vs Anton Chigurh will be legendary 😅
The moment he was gone, I knew I wasn’t going to watch the 2nd season. Billy made the show.
Mike Milligan and VM Varga were really good. They are no Malvo, but they did great for a follow up to one of the greatest performance of a sociopath in TV history.
That sucks cause Season 2 is brilliant, Hanzee dent is a great replacement for Malvo
and the whole Geardharts vs Kansas city as well as the comment about the world losing it’s mind n uncertainty and violence
was a great.
“We cannot pack and leave cause we’re the future, they’re the past. And the Past cannot become the future anymore then the future can become the past.”
--Mike Milligan Season 2
Nah you robbing yourself. S2 has some great characters and 2 that I'd argue are just as good as Malvo. Check it out
Mike Milligan is a great character. So is Hanzee.
Season 2 is very good. I don’t recommend the others but season 2 is up with season 1
At the end: who is the worst? Nygaard or Malvo?
Malvo gave Lester a taste of what it means to be a monster, and Lester relished it
Pretty dumb question. Malvo killed like 40 people (on screen) and is basically the devil incarnate
@@liminalcriminal_ Ok, but consider the following:
-some war hero may have killed more than both of them together and still be regarded as a god guy.
-both share the murder capability but not courage, which is consider a virtue.
Thank you for the answer and the insult inplied.
@@martinmezz Courage is not a virtue. And yes while both are capable of murder Lester did it once (against someone who was basically on their hands and knees begging for it) and malvo did it likely hundreds of times. And war heroes who kill many people are only good if they kill bad guys. Malvo kinda just kills people who gets in his way. Lack of morality is determined on the impact on victims. Comparing someone who killed once to hundreds of times is stupid.
Everybody is capable of murder. That’s Malvo’s point and I agree. We have to take actions into account, not potential to commit said actions. Not that Lester would killed nearly as many people as malvo if given the choice anyway
