For this Video and for all the videos i do at home, not being out with the bike i use Final Cut since for me it was the easiest to use program with a very intuitive Interface and cool colorgrading options.

Marc, if you haven't got one and are travelling around more remote areas of Scotland, you're likely to need a Charge Place Scotland card for more remote areas with no phone and data signal. Can you beg/borrow/steal one from someone?

Hi guy's, to be honest I wasn't going to follow your video's on the eletric bike (I would have called it 'Marmite') but when I found out you were going to visit my homeland, Uk/Scotland 💓, I decided to 'check in' again. It's all about the journey, so I'm ignoring the bike 😎. I myself live in Nienburg Weser Mark and haven't been back to Scotland since 2018, so missing it loads. Edinburgh is really awesome. Unfortunately my bike got stolen in the first night just in front of the hotel on a main street. Luckily it was found a few corners around by the police. I managed to repair the destroyed ignition and could continue the journey through scotland. In Edinburgh / Glasgow motorcycles are stolen faster than you could look....therefore keep a watchful eye on Eve. 😏

Did you notice the statue of Robinson Crusoe in Lower Largo just before the car park where you charged Eve. The “stadium”is being dismantled after the Military Tattoo in August hope you’re enjoying being in Scotland.
Fairly off topic for the video essay here but: There sadly is a lot of motorcycle theft here, a combination of both a police force that only cares about revenue generation and not stopping crimes, and a courts system which lets all the thieves off with a slapped wrist on the rare occasion one does get caught. Back in 2016 there were more bikes stolen in the UK than registered new. That's improved now, but only because of a big surge in registrations, not a reduction in crime rates. We still have the best part of 40,000 bikes stolen in just England and Wales (in 2020, the crime rates generally dipped over covid but are expected to climb back up again for 22 and beyond, probably even more with the state of our economy), not even counting Scotland, and that equates to £3M worth of bikes stolen every month (all estimates only, but 3M a month = 36M a year = £900 average bike value. You can imagine if there's a bunch of cheap scooters and then one £20k BMW GS that's not an unreasonable assessment). The vast majority, some 40%, is just London though. People have even started stealing TFT dashboards off of parked bikes, can't have anything out there these days.
Another factor is we don't have any kind of solid Castle laws here, meaning if someone breaks into your home or garage, or tries to highjack you, and you do the natural thing which is go out and beat ten kinds of crap out of them, you'll get arrested for Assault or GBH, even Pre-Meditated Assault if they found you had the baseball bat down the side of your bed etc. We're allowed 'reasonable force', and to use weapons which are 'at hand', but even then it gets very messy about where the line gets drawn legally between 'reasonable' and 'grossly disproportionate'. It's tough right, like I'm a nice Liberal lefty for the most part but one line I do draw is if someone breaks into my home, or is trying to steal my bike out of my garage, as far as I'm concerned they've forfeited their rights to be treated as a human and should get what's coming to them.

Yes there has been quite a few thefts of motorcycles in edinburgh lately that i've heard of. It's a real shame. It's so funny seeing you travel my country to places i've been loads of times! Really enjoyable! Also not that it should matter as i'm sure you are never speeding but please watch out for the average speed cameras when traveling on the dual carrageways and motorways :) I hope you enjoy Scotland and have a wonderful jorney! Might spot you on the road!

if you travel with a car like today, you can being a generator on the car, so you can go more miles without thinking bout charging spot hehehe. Nice to see both of you again !

My grandparents brought back some Macdonald tartan kilts from their visit to Scotland. It may have been the first time they had flown to the old country. They took my mother by train and ship the first time. A friend of the family was a crime scene photographer for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and took some B'nW photos of my brother and I in our kilts with bérets and dagger in the sock.
Marie, what a gal! Did you say she's a Kiwi? Great videos, by the way. I'm sorry that you did not see Lindisfarne on the way to Scotland, but I guess you had to get to Edinburgh by a certain date.
I look forward to the day when charging stations are just as simple to use as petrol pumps. But then again, a petrol pump doesn't know if it's refueling a Toyota or a Fiat! Electrics are a little more complicated. The future is tap and charge, only a few here in the states are simple to use like that though, most require an app.
when you come to Northern Ireland A guy I know that has an electric motorbike tells me that you can charge your bike at any Lidls car park for free in Northern Ireland there is also Lidls in the south of Ireland but I do not know what the situation is when it comes to them having charging points in their car Parks

I also rent underground car parking space right in Belfast city centre secure and has security cameras also has power outlet which you could probably plug your bike into to charge also our local idiots in Belfast can cause problems at night time when they are drunk or high on drugs mate steal your bike or sometimes just push it away for fun only in some locations but you need to know the town Shouldn’t have any problems in daytime

When you put your bags into the little white Fiat, and headed off to the cafe, it made me smile. I’ve done 28,000 miles of motorcycle travel in the last 2 years. The main thing that I have learned in all those miles is that travel by car is so much easier! 😂
One of the reason I use a Can-Am F3-S for touring in Europe now. Plus, it's really good fun. A 390 motorbike and 155 scooter in Thailand.

if you’re going to see where the Titanic was built or the Titanic Museum there is a cool cafeteria only one minute walk away from Titanic Museum it is called The Dock Cafe I think it is run as a charity so it has short opening times 11 o’clock till 4 o’clock tea coffee and food is for free you just have to put small donation in the box if you want or you can pay at a later time on your phone People go there that are travelling through Belfast you will see the map on the wall and people put their location of where they’re from it is a pedestrian area but you can ride your motorbike around slowly and park right at the front door It is against the law to ride motorcycle on footpath in Ireland but if you put on Hazard indicators and ride slowly with both feet down usually police do not mind this because they can see that you’re being responsible in going slowly

They do steal a lot there, they nearly stole my YP400 from a car park 100 metres from that junction at the start of the video. Luckily they couldn't steal it, unluckily I couldn't use it either and needed recovered and fixed. Boooo.
