    Thanks for the tutorial dude, but just a suggestion, if you’re going to make a tutorial to teach people something, it’d be helpful if you learned the names of the parts you’re removing so you can teach people properly instead of saying “take this bolt off and then take this thing off using the cramp thingy” teaching people should sound something like this: “remove these screws then take off the intake manifold, then remove this gasket and the starter solenoid” for example. It just doesn’t inspire confidence when you don’t even know the names of the tools you’re using let alone the parts you’re removing. No hate, just some friendly feedback 🤙

      50/50 rec bov are perfectly fine to run. If you are going to full dump always recommend tuning for it. He recently got a plug so he can go full dump from edge autosport and it has been working perfect! also no CLE so far!!!

    Would putting the BOV at the hardest setting cause surge? (stututu)

    • @Dyl_Cam
      @Dyl_Cam Před rokem

      Nah, the lowest setting it just screams as you floor it and has a less violent blow off when you let off the throttle. On the hardest setting that shit goes PPPPPSSSHHH pretty loud

    I just bought a 2nd gen ms3 and I'm really just new to all of this, can I get the turbosmart 50/50 BoV, put it on, and call it a day? Or do I need to tune the car. If yes does that involve getting a new ECU? Thank you again =)

    • @dawsonelliott7254
      @dawsonelliott7254 Před 2 lety +1

      Yes, as long as it is 50/50. When you go full vent to atmosphere is when you need a tune and no not a new ecu. You'll need a cobb accessport and get it tuned by, dizzy tuning, freektune or purple drank. There is a few others as well

      @troyal82 Před 2 lety +2

      @@dawsonelliott7254 you cannot tune for a BOV/BPV on this platform, ask any of the reputable tuners and they'll confirm that. It prefers full recirc or 50/50. If you go full VTA, you will be fine, you'll just be super rich at shifts and will likely get lots of exhaust pops when shifting or when decelerating in gear as you're venting out metered air.

    You need to retune the ECU now that it's no longer in full recirculation mode.

    • @COYOTE_N8
      @COYOTE_N8 Před 3 lety

      @@jacksonwatene9635 yea as long as it's set up right it's good. You can't tune the ECU for a bov. The intake manifold is expecting a certain amount of recirc an if it doesn't get it then, cel, runs like shit. You can't just tell the ECU otherwise. Or I guess you could but that really makes no sense right
